“The restaurant has two floors with different food options on both.
We went to the main floor and enjoyed the scenery right out our window.

We both got the trout and Barn fries (baked potato sliced up and fried. Really good! Ask for their yummy BBQ sauce and they are even better :) )

Stores around the property are very cool, and they have a huge toy and game store which was lots of fun.

Vegetarian options: Large soup, bread, and salad bar with plenty of fresh food options.
Also a few fish options (trout, tilapia, shrimp).

Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and GF options.

We had our guests choose between the Lemon Basil Chicken and Manicotti and multiple guests said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding! Rachel went above and beyond to help make sure our day went smoothly and that my husband and I were taken care of at all times! Their staff was so kind. Everything about our experience with TJ's was so awesome and I would recommend them to every couple looking for a wedding caterer!“

“Rittman historian Patt Watts says the city is named for Fred Rittman, former treasurer of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, which built a line through town in 1871. Previous name ‘Arkona’ had to be changed because it was too easily confused with Akron.

The Erie Depot opened 1871 on South Main Street, but farmers moved the narrow wooden building to its current location in 1913. Conrail took over Erie in 1976 and discontinued its Rittman service in 1983.

Debra Lieberth has owned The Depot for 20 years. Located across the tracks from Morton Salt facility, which means customers never have to worry about running out of seasoning.

“Gave the food 4 stars because the only problem I had was the bread was kind of soggy but besides that great ghost pepper sandwich. About time they get a Spicy sandwich. The girls were nice the place was clean and as long as they keep the ghost pepper sandwich I will be there“

“The team from Old Carolina Barbecue Company were at our venue again last night and as usual provided stellar service. This was the second time this summer. In June catering was provided by Joseph, Gavin, Chase and Abby, and last night we had Tanner, Shannon, Chase and Abby. Both times they were timely, efficient and professional, and also added extra services like moving things around to serve appetizers outside, cutting and serving multiple cakes and leaving the kitchen spotless! All these things from a venue's perspective are so important. From the guests' perspective, of course, is the question "was the food good?" Yes it was! So good! They received many compliments. Unfortunately, the girl working the window taking orders was unbelievably rude and her service were enough to not want to go back. I hope that in the future, they change the service approach as the food was amazing.“

“Mother's Day Brunch was a very pleasant experience. Delicious food, prompt courteous attentive service. We were seated near the kitchen and it was such a please to watch the choreographed interaction within the kitchen, the chef was very much in charge, very verbal and there was also non verbal communication amongst the staff. You could tell they had worked together for a while. I could not express how enjoyable the meal and experience was. You can see than the owners put an emphasis on training and the staff enjoyed working there.“

“Everything was really good except the time of food prep. We were one of maybe 4 tables in the whole restaurant and it took nearly 30 min after we put in our order to get an omelette and an egg sandwich. I love this place, but I hope they make some adjustments to that part of the process.“

“I ate at Bob Evans today 6/28/23 about 5 pm. When i got there it didnt look to crowded. They had one server a guy, I didn't get his name, he told me but I forģot Within 5 minutes 4 more couples and a party of 5 came it. He was awesome, he had everyone taken care of and kept checking on everybody. He will go places, he is great with the public. Thanks again young man.“

“Went there for their trunk or treat and then had the buffet dinner they were offering..I don't believe they had everything that was list on the menu that I had seen earlier that day..but the food they did have was good..their onion rings were huge and delicious. We will go back soon to try the food on their normal menu.“

“We have enjoyed going to the tavern for years. We've always had a good experience and good food. We enjoy getting the prime rib on the nights that it is served. However, tonight we got the Sirloin steak and it was not very good. It was tough and didn't have much taste to it. And we were highly disappointed that they no longer serve the skinny fries. We are not a big fan of the big fries. It sounds like they hear it a lot that people don't like the larger fries. We ordered the truffle fries, and they were just not as good as when they used the skinny fries. The service was great, though, and we will more likely go back on the nights they have the prime rib.“

“Not super busy when we were there..it was later in the evening. Which I love to walk into a restaurant and not see a lot of people. Unfortunately there were also not a lot of works there either. The food was delicious..as always. My husband and I both ordered a drink, I have the white peach margarita and he had idk, something blue..to our surprise..it happened to be and $11.00 drink, which is just crazy to me. We sat there with our 3 children for 45 mins before our appetizer came. Then our drink come, mine was good but tasted like it had sat awhile..
completely watered down. My husbands was just awful. Not sure what happened to the bartenter or if they just didn't have one, so it was a server making our drinks. looking in book for recipes, trying her best..

“I recently ordered a 7.5" Cheese Steak Deluxe Hero Sub, a Small Fresh Cut Fry, and a Small Mr. Pibb / Dr. Pepper. It was all pretty great. I would order these items again. It was prepared and handed off quickly. I particularly liked the rather nostalgic artwork / photos framed on the walls.“

“Busy Sunday lunch crowd. Staff were nice. We asked about grilled chicken options and the waitress offered something that didn't seem to be on the menu. I had a southwest avocado chicken bowl, which was very good. Our booth was under a ceiling fan that was blowing cool air down.“

“The was good but definitely could have been better. I had the chips and salsa as a starter. The salsa was good, and the chips were fresh. I was here on Thursday for their BOGO Boneless Wings. I ordered a 10 piece giving me a total of 20 wings, so I chose 4 different sauces. I had the Nashville Hot, Mango Habanero, Carribean Jerk, and Spicy Garlic. The wings were decent size and all very flavorful. The one issue was that some of the wings weren't coated that well in sauce and had areas with no sauce on them, I choose not to complain after all they should know how to properly coat the wings. My server Tonya was great she was very attentive and made sure my drink was full and I had everything I needed.“
