“Gold Star has some of the best great tasting chili!!! As a native Texan we do not have Gold Star restaurants in our great state. If we did, I would definitely make it one of my favorite places to eat. This location is very clean inside and outside as well. This Gold Star is located in a busy intersection and its means of egress is very accessible to the major highway. I highly recommend Gold Chili for your next meal if you are craving chili.“

Yet, I couldn’t help but notice the large group of idle employees in the back that might have spared someone to train her. They were rather loud and vulgar in their conversation, so I ordered to go. My order was wrong, but I had already waited so long already and I didn’t feel confident that the situation would improve by addressing it. The burger I got was perfectly cooked and prepared with just enough of everything. I did get extra cheese to be fair, but it is just my personal preference. It was wonderful. The fries were fresh out of the peanut oil hot, crisp, and flavorful. This place knows how to make a burger folks. They could use some training about customer service, namely that people expect a smile. Go ahead and pull one out, people. Doesn’t cost you a thing. The music was a bit loud and it was quite cold. However, like many fast food the prices are getting way, way too much for lunch and this is my primary reason I will not be back anytime soon. I think, that is the model everyone is going for anymore, see a customer once a quarter, but make double what you did in the past. I am not a fan of the thought process of the business owners, but if they think it makes sense, I hope it makes dollars. For me, while I really did enjoy my sandwich I can go to a nicer place and pay just few bucks more and have a better experience. “If you are a Dasher, you can count on these guys to put your order together for you and do a pretty quality job when doing so. The order was not ready when I arrived and I did sit for a bit waiting. In their slight defense, it was a stacked order but they did not appear to be busy. They gave me water to refill me water bottle and that was cool. They are friendly as well and they verify the full order making sure any one who orders gets everything.As a consumer they have always gotten my orders right too. I do not think I have ever ordered from here and been told that they did not have something unlike KFC Field's Ertel (chicken of all things). They honour coupons at least I had a coupon which they took and in my book that alone deserves good warrant. I love friendly, helpful staff and they gots it. Obviously a fast food joint where responsibility and quality service still matters, quite a hard find these days no matter where your money is spent.Belly bombers jack up me tummy but they have added some new cheeses to their menu and have not bad shakes, I also like the fries with my bombers.
