“I'd say over the last 6 months the quality of the food and the cleanliness has improved dramatically. Most certainly the new management has taken the responsibility of this place serious and you can tell with your friendly attitude. I for one like the pre-order my things so I try to order ahead and it's always ready on time and fresh and hot. Another important factor is a bathrooms are clean and so is the dining facility. Definitely a good spot to take your family too. Or border online to be delivered or pick up.“
“I called a couple weeks ago to ask about catering a meeting I was having today. I’ve taken several of my employees there individually in the past, and they each requested to have it again for our meeting (they were obviously hooked). It turns out they are closed on the day I was holding the meeting (Monday). The owner, Alyssa answered the phone when I called- she offered to come in on her day off to make the sandwiches to cater our meeting - which she did. No reminders needed- I hadn’t talked to her in two weeks since placing the order, and she had the order ready for pickup when promised, and as usual the food was absolutely amazing! Several of the guys are upset that they live in Pennsylvania and can’t come back more often! Absolutely amazing experience all around! Thank you!!“

More aligned with Subway, except at Jersey Mike's you get a nice amount of meat without having to pay for double-meat.“

I wanted some Soul Food and I found this and it was not too far from where I was headed. Being from the South we know soul food, especially in Texas! When I pulled up there was only one car in the parking lot. I walked to the door and the sign read, "If doors are locked come to drive thru".. I understood that completely because it gets dark real early up here. When I got to the window I wondering what to expect.... You know how you go to certain places and the person at the window working has an attitude? NOT THIS PLACE!! A very nice lady came and greeted me with a smile. I told her it was my first time and she gave me a menu and started to explain what they had. Check my history and you will know I got the Fried Chicken Wings. I also got Collard greens and pinto beans and and extras side of potato salad. You ever been to a Soul Food Restaurant and the veggies are Luke warm or just don't taste good? NOT THIS PLACE!!!!! All of the veggies were fresh and they were good. Some places you go to, you have to be careful of their potato salad... NOT THIS PLACE!! The potato salad was on point. I am not making this up! It was good. Now to the main course. The Fried Wings... OMG!!!! In some places wings are over seasoned or over battered and cooked hard or greasy!!!!! (hello Cracker Barrel) NOT THIS PLACE!!!!! Listen to me real good! Every wing that I ate was cooked to perfection, I am so serious right now. These wings were not heavenly battered, they were not overly seasoned, they were hot and fresh right out of the fryer!!!! Now don't expect to order your food at the window and it be ready in 2-3 minutes... these wings were cooked to order. But!! The wait was not long and there were two other cars they helped as well. I'm guessing I was there less than 10 mins. I wasn't really paying attention. Lastly, you know how most Soul Food places will charge you an arm and a leg for 5 wings, 3 veggies, and a small kool-aid... it would be expensive.... NOT THIS PLACE!!!!! I got all of this food for under $16.00... I left a tip and to be honest the tip should have been double! I'm serious everyone around Akron or passing through, this is one place that could be something special in the community!!! I am not from here but to receive service with a smile and have good food is something to be said!!! Personally, I love the fact that they have multiple vegetarian/vegan options, including labeling which sauces are free of gluten, dairy, etc. Also, you can get smashed avocado on your pita for no additional cost (at this location, some differ). At Subway, that is a $2 upcharge.I first fell in love with Pita Pit in college, 20+ years ago, and now I go there because it is that rare restaurant with healthy and tasty options.Vegetarian options: I believe they have four vegetarian pitas: falafel, black bean patty, beyond meat, and hummus. Plus tons of fresh vegetables, and the sauces are labeled, if you want that to be vegetarian as well.“
“I adore the fact you can order a vegetarian sub here. There are a couple of options. I ordered the portobello and swiss. My sub was missing something. I think it needed some spices. Salt, pepper or a bit of steak sauce, something. This being my 1st time, hopefully I missed something on the menu to add some flavor. Bread was fresh, staff was friendly. They were super busy and it was nice to see a full staff here. There were at least 5 people behind the counter.“

“This place is very good. For those of you who have never stopped in, they freshly slice all the sandwich meat and cheese, made to order. And Mike's Way means an oil and vinegar blend, oregano seasonings, onions and tomatoes. My husband likes the #7, Turkey and Provolone, Mike's Way but no onion, add mayo and banana peppers. I rotate between a #7 mini and the #31 a California Chicken Cheese Steak, add side of Ranch. My husband d also likes the #13, Italian sub with all the premium meats. Be prepared to wait a bit longer for a cheesesteak/hot sandwich. They do not toast the sandwiches, it's New Jersey style after all, served with chips and in a skinny bag. ? oh, I've heard the pepper relish is good but I keep forgetting to try it!Vegetarian options: They make a veggie that comes with extra Provolone and any and all the veggies you want.“
“Ordered regular philly steak and fries. When i got home noticed i had received the wrong order. I was on my lunch break so couldn't go back. Tried calling, but their phone was out of service, so I filed a complaint with the company. The next day I went back. As soon as I walked in the staff immediately greated me, asked for my name and quickly apologized for messing up my order. They still had my order receipt from the previous day and just confirmed I wanted the same thing. They were so quick and polite to rectify their mistake. I would definitely recommend this location!“
“I like many don’t find myself at subway nearly as often as I did pre-5 dollar foot long. The sandwich that I ate today was a much improved quality over the $5 phase, but it was many times more expensive. The roast beef ability tasted like a quality lunch meat. I would do it again. 1 ding on the service because the man working cashier left me standing at the cash register unattended while he went back to wash dishes.“
“Went for lunch today with my mom. I know places are frequently understaffed and service is impacted. The guys working at this Penn Station were all going above and beyond to make our experience great. My boyfriend and i came in today and Candice (Candace or Candyce maybe, sorry if I butchered her name!!) served us and she was seriously the sweetest woman ever !! She seemed to be the only one working the line (or working in general) yet it was kept clean and her customer service skills were amazing !! She went above and beyond to make sure our sandwiches were made correctly and neatly. I never do these reviews but this was the best customer service i’ve experienced in a while. The staff working was nice and fast paced in getting customers orders made and rang up as well as paying attention to details. We showed up here around 1210 for lunch. Dine in was welcomed. And the area was clean. Made lunch that more enjoyable to eat and sit for a bit while there. Also felt the items available for our sandwich choices were fresh. “I absolutely love this Subway, there are 2 locations closer to my house but I only go to this one. Easy to find, large parking area, and the employees are always pleasant to interact with. Because its small there are times theres only 1 employ working and a line, but I don't mind it. Its worth the wait and time (to me)“
