“Amazing pizzas made in their wood fired brick oven pizzas made fresh to order. We ordered five pizzas and they were brought to our table within 10-15 minutes.

Pizzas are thin crust, which we enjoy and large for one to individually enjoy. Toppings are plentiful and brought to you straight from the oven to your table.

Cozy atmosphere, Christmas lights, and multiple little country flags on the walls; while waiting for our food we trivia'ed ourselves on how many we knew.

It's a great local place for a dine in for a pizza, and we continue to come back.“

“You can’t beat a small pizza with 2 toppings for 10 bucks. On top of that, it’s (in my opinion) one of the best, if not THE best, pizzas in Toledo. Especially if you like the sauce that’s a little more on the sweet side and you get the spicy sausage to offset it. Cheese to the edge with a perfect crunch and not too much dough so you get a chance to enjoy it without feeling like you swallowed a brick the rest of the day. “Have been going here for along time. First time ordering pizza though. I ordered extra sauce which I did not get and only ate a few slices. I asked to get extra sauce to take home and the waitress said it would cost $2.00 more. But she wasn’t sure. We had to ask again about the sauce after we paid the bill. She said they would not give us extra sauce!! Hmmm!! Really? So for all you that like extra sauce on your pizza… they don’t do that! Also, the waitress never took any of our dirty dishes away.“

“I stopped by over the weekend and the place was quite busy, but they managed to seat us pretty quickly. The pizza was delicious, thin, crispy crust with generous, fresh topping. I had the BBQ chicken pizza and a side salad, both were really tasty . Staff were friendly, though service was a bit slow when the place got crowded. The space is cozy and nicely decorated. Marco's pizza, the Monroe Street location in particular, for me has been a place I have both dragged my feet dreading to go in as well as felt the palpable excitement that a child feels the eve before Christmas (in anticipation of what the next day of work will entail).

If by now it isn't clear, I work for Marco's and have for many years now. Not quite as many years as Marco's proper has been a thing. 1978 is a long time. . .

Anyhow, this review will not touch on the food or Marco's. If you don't know by now I don't think I can help you. It will however admonish the people in the inside, on the other side of the counter.

Some of the silliest years of my life were spent there, alongside some silli-er still.

“I truly love their chicken and get some every time I order. We got the deluxe pizza last night too but we were not impressed by it. The crust needed to cook longer , more sauce was needed and since the crust was too soft it couldn’t hold the toppings .
