Pizzas are thin crust, which we enjoy and large for one to individually enjoy. Toppings are plentiful and brought to you straight from the oven to your table.

Cozy atmosphere, Christmas lights, and multiple little country flags on the walls; while waiting for our food we trivia'ed ourselves on how many we knew.

“Stopped into the original Gino’s Pizza in Toledo and they did not disappoint. I grabbed a large veggie pizza with added bacon and a small double-cheese, and both were absolute fire. The pies were loaded, super heavy, and packed with flavor. You can tell they don’t skimp on ingredients. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly how I wanted it. The crust needed to cook longer , more sauce was needed and since the crust was too soft it couldn’t hold the toppings . “if you're looking for an unbiased review based on the quality of food only, might I suggest the review above or below this one.

Marco's pizza, the Monroe Street location in particular, for me has been a place I have both dragged my feet dreading to go in as well as felt the palpable excitement that a child feels the eve before Christmas (in anticipation of what the next day of work will entail).

If by now it isn't clear, I work for Marco's and have for many years now. Not quite as many years as Marco's proper has been a thing. 1978 is a long time. . .

Anyhow, this review will not touch on the food or Marco's. If you don't know by now I don't think I can help you. It will however admonish the people in the inside, on the other side of the counter.

Some of the silliest years of my life were spent there, alongside some silli-er still.

“Marco's is the 'go to pizza crafter's when staff is on site at our Toledo, Ohio site. Whether we have a large group dining together or just one person trying to fix a machine, Marco's is quick, efficient, and always friendly to our team!“

“Love this place, definitely one of our favorites. Arrived 5.30ish on a Thursday - as is our norm we sat at the bar. Server made a point of letting us know about their happy hour (so we could order a second drink before it ended).

Hubs had the fettuccine bolognese and I had the salmon with gnocchi. We both had a side dinner salad which were cold and crisp. Hubs said his dinner was delicious. My salmon was perfectly cooked, gnocchi was soft and tender.

Waitress/bartender was nice - it appeared that she was the only waitstaff that evening. Watched her with other guests - provided good service to everyone.“
