From the white french dressing to the new Cider chicken with caramelized onions and a perfectly cooked ribeye it was all delicious! Hubby had to have a piece of cheesecake w/ freshly made raspberry puree, he had to end up sharing...it was sooo good.“

“LaCole took on my New Year's Day luncheon with very limited notice from me. However, even with the short time to prepare, she knocked it out the park. She had a menu for me within hours, very professionally put together. On the day of, she came in plenty of time to setup...and The FOOD was beyond my expectations. My guest raved about evey dish. LaCole is top tier and I am grateful to have a Chef and Caterer like her to call on!“

“We had dinner last night at 91 woodfired oven on Fulton Road in Canton. Our server was Darren and he was very attentive. We were impressed with Darren‘s knowledge of the food and beverage. We started out with the best bacon candy and we highly recommend sharing that appetizer. For dinner we had the Tuscan chicken risotto and the Mediterranean black cod, which was a special for the evening. We ended our evening with a peanut butter bomb, and our meal was exceptionally good. We will definitely be back to this restaurant and we will ask that Darren be our server.“

“Great food! Have been in Akron for over 2 years and this is the first time going to a location down here! We did a mobile order and there was a mixup with the order, but Nick got the needed items no questions asked and super quick! Thank you Nick 🙂“

“OH Culver's! It's better than Wendy's. It was born from Wisconsin. It's a midwestern popular joint. The concrete mixers are the best frozen custard I've had from a fast food place. Yes, it's better than Dairy Queen. The crinkle fries are better than Raising cane's. The spicy chicken sandwich is better than Wendy's. There is veggie burger option. And cheese curds. The butter burgers are fresh never frozen meat and they are smashed on the grill. You can order a triple bacon deluxe. There are also chicken tenders, Culver's root beer float, and their fish are not frozen. They flour them and put it in the fryer. They also have salads. Many options. Culver’s has very high standards, quality, and clean place. The front of the house brings the food to you in the dining room. Wow what a casual fast food place.“

“Ate last week here and had the soup and salad bar. It was the best salad bar I have had in years. The salad makings were fresh and plentiful. The soups were bean and noodle. The bean soup was a vegetably soup with a good broth, similar to a minestrone soup without the noodles. The noodle had three different types of noodles in a rich broth. Salad bar even had pasta salad and potato salad. Great food. Liked it so much, had to go back today. Sandwiches and lunch items start about 11AM, but breakfast items are served all day.“

“If you want something more than the typical hospital cafeteria food, then try Virtues. They are located on the ground floor of Akron Summa hospital. I am at the hospital because a family member is having surgery, and this restaurant was recommended by the desk staff. You walk to the counter and order. They give you a buzzer that signals you when the order is ready. I had the signature BLT and a side Ceasar salad. The salad was good size, lettuce was crisp and fresh. The BLT is served on sourdough bread and had a chitpotle mayo that gave it a good flavor and just a tinge of heat. For expecting "hospital" food, this was a pleasant surprise. It cost me just under $20 for the sandwich, salad, and a fountain drink.“

“Last night we had the gyro, the meatloaf with mashed potatoes, and the wings. The gyro was fantastic! It was stuffed with meat, veggies, and a flavorful tzatziki sauce. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes, which was the special of the evening, was a personal size, top glazed meatloaf set in a mound of homemade mashed potatoes with a wonderful gravy. It was flavorful and filling. The wings were huge and juicy. We had the honey habanero sauce which was amazing. We highly recommend West Ave Tavern for a fantastic meal, drinks and atmosphere.“
