“Only gave it a 2 for service because I had to ask for my food and there isn't much interaction with the actual staff. My kids and I go there every Friday and they love it. Great prices, great location and located in the heart of a great community.“

“It’s so nice having a Swenson’s close to home! There are now several in Central Ohio, but this was the first and remains my favorite. Friendly staff, fun monthly shake flavors, and all the old favorites (which I realize can be “acquired tastes” for those who didn’t grow up with them). If you’re new to Swenson’s, you may want to check out the menu online in advance since it’s not immediately obvious what a Florida or Ohio (or Galley Boy for that matter) is, and they can be hard to describe.“

“My family and I, live close to two hours away from the Columbus area. We were in town for a Columbus Zoo outing when we stopped here to eat for the first time. Upon sitting down, we noticed how beautiful and charming the inside interior or design of the place was. Secondly, when we received our food, everything tasted fantastic! “We went for a foodie trip and googled the best wings!! Urban Gourmet popped up so we tried it out and boy they did not disappoint!! These were some of the best wings we have had!! We got the garlic parmesean wings, Buffalo ranch dry rub and hot buffalo!! You can tell they use nothing but fresh ingredients and make their sauces and dressings by scratch!! “Horrible bison burger, cooked to death, could hardly choke it down, bacon jam not good. Bison is always dry but when you have hard brown fried parts on the outside it is super dry. They say they cook it medium, ummm no.“

“Absolutely loved my food from here! We ordered food from here while at Combustion Brewery. We ordered 2 burgers, 8 chicken tenders and the Carolina dipped chicken sandwich. We walked over to order as we had a lot of customizations. The staff were incredibly kind and patient. They quoted us 15 mins for the food and delivered to my seat in the brewery! This place knows how to cook chicken! Both the tenders and the sandwich were extremely flavorful, hot (like right out of the fryer), and juicy! The burgers are smash patties (highly recommend getting a double) but man are they good! Near the top for my personal burger list. The fries were super crispy and flavorful but a tad too salty (and I like salty fries). Overall that's not enough for me to ding my rating as I went there for the burgers. I didn't rate the atmosphere because we didn't eat in restaurant.“

“pros and cons. CONS.. If you were to base your visit on first checking out the cleanliness of the bathrooms before you eat, you'd turn around and leave. The men's room in the basement needs so much work and the multiple colonies of gnats was like visiting the basement of college kids from a party and cans and spilled beer have never been cleaned up. Horrible condition. The ladies refused to even look at theirs. Booths are small and tight. Definitely an old building, but it's kind of cool with its history. PROS... Those were some really really good burgers. Wife got the Ali and I got the Old School. Burgers are huge and easily splitable. We tried this after friends suggested the burgers and we were not disappointed. Onion rings were too greasy for us, but the fries and homemade chips were great. Alll and all, it's definitely an option to eat again when in town.“

We ordered the double deluxe burger and the North Atlantic Cod Sandwich. The burger was excellent—juicy and perfectly cooked. The fish sandwich was also very tasty, though I found the bun a little on the thick side. Overall, both dishes were delicious and satisfying. Given the great experience, we'd absolutely stop here again on our travels and try out some of the other menu items. Highly recommend.“

“My brother, sister and I were in town for a concert and had time to spare for lunch and were just walking around and came across the beautiful artwork on the building of the Alley Burger. Took a chance and walked in, immediately greeted by the staff with the warmest hospitality. We each ordered a burger and when I tell you we crushed these burgers like we were experiencing a burger for the first time… the taste was unlike anything we’d ever eaten. My brother who eats burgers all the time said “Well DAMN!”when he took his first bite. Just incredible. We never had to ask for anything, our waitress was on top of it the whole time we were there. When we were leaving everyone was so nice saying goodbye and thank you, welcoming us back. We stepped outside and met the owner who was so excited that we were from Pittsburgh. “I took my husband to IHOP for Father's Day and had a wonderful experience! We brought our little grandson along, and our server was incredibly kind and patient with him (he is one), which made our visit even more special.

The food was delicious especially the pancakes and crispy hash browns. Everything came out hot and fresh, and the service was attentive from start to finish. Our server checked on us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed.

“Great food, lots of fine dinners to choose from. Their bison steak is the best I've had anywhere! I had some garlic mashed potatoes and steamed carrots with that and some lemonade. I've dined in this place before, ate bison burgers but this time I opted for their bison filet steak, and it was delicious. The whole meal was. Facilities are clean, now with soap dispensers placed around for your convenience. I hadn't been to this area since Covid hit and that has changed everything but I'm happy this restaurant is still in business. I came to eat there because I wanted to eat a fine meal before seeing the German band Kraftwerk that evening. The waitress was very quick in serving the food and very friendly. Sure, the dinners may be more expensive and there's not many restaurants in the Nationwide Arena area now, but why not go for something unique and special to add to your fun day? I have eaten here before and after attending events such as hockey games, Phil Collins, Bruce Springsteen, RUSH, (Jeff Lynne's) ELO, Adam Ant, Noel Gallagher and more throughout the Arena District. I'm glad this place is still around after all that's occurred during the past few years, and I highly recommend it to anyone who attends any event in the Arena District.
