Small menus mean fantastic food because they have time to master the skills to continue creating the meal. The bar tender was great drinks were really good and well made. We were in Cleveland for the night, and Balance was close to where we were staying so I decided to give it a try. The girl working at the counter was AMAZING! She was so helpful and super interactive with my son, literally mirroring his excitement. I know this is something small, but I have worked in the service industry and I know how infrequent it is to get positive feedback. I’m sorry I didn’t catch the girl’s name (she was tall with long blonde hair), but she was fantastic and really made us feel welcome. The restaurant was also super clean and all the employees were working hard.“

The homemade tots were good but fried in oil they fry everything else so if allergic to seafood, don’t get. Service was slow even though they weren’t busy. But had a variety of choices not available at other restaurants.“

Today I got the veggie quesadilla - huge portion, AND they had vegan sour cream! They also have a full bar, and a cute patio that will be great in warm weather.
