“I saw the margarita tasting event on Facebook and decided to go with a friend. I wish I would've known that the signature margarita flights were very non-traditional flavors such as garlic. That's very unique, but not my cup of tea so I ordered a raspberry marg instead. Not bad. It wasn't the best either. My friend ordered chips and salsa. The salsa wasn't salsa. It was pico de gallo served in a small plastic condiment cup. That's not enough for a basket of nachos. The environment was nice. The vibe was energetic.“

“Every single time we come in here we are more than impressed! We came in on Mother’s Day with a party of 20 and they made accommodations for us. Everything came out in a timely manner almost as fast as when there is 2 of us. It was absolutely delicious thank you to the kitchen staff! Adina is always a delight, and the owner is there every single time busting his behind to make sure the customers are happy. We love and appreciate El Vaquero and it’s staff“

“We were in Ohio for a wedding and stopped here for dinner. There was a 45 minute wait but after a quick look inside, we decided that it was worth checking out. We were very glad we waited, the appetizers were incredible and the burgers were perfect. I love bourbon and was impressed at their selection. If we are ever back in Ohio, we will definitely be back.“

“Had a wonderful birthday dinner here. Service was exceptional, Madison was awesome and helped get me the Big Red Spicy Walleye for my birthday dinner even though it is on the lunch menu. And to say it was good is an understatement, it exceeded my expectations and was awesome! They have officially ruined Nashville Hot Chicken for me 😂 If it doesn't have walleye on it I don't want it now. Was awesome that the chefs were able to do this with the help of Madison. And we made sure to tell the manager Shelby (owners daughter) how wonderful a night we had and she was genuinely pleased to hear and talk with. Can't wait to go back and try some other things on the menu! And we will be back!“

“Look online at the prices on the online menu, as they are not inexpensive. Once you appreciate what you will be committing yourself to, know that you will get great food and well prepared cocktails.
Royal Miyagi Oysters, raised off Vancouver Island in Baynes Sound and from Penn Cove Shellfish in Coupeville, WA are/were excellent. Mildly briny with a hint of kiwi-like delicately sweet finish.
The Vin Gris wine sauce used to sear the Sea Scallops was so good, we ordered bread service after to capture the remaining sauce, to let none of it go to waste.“
