“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.“

“Found this little gem on the internet. The food was absolutely fantastic. We all enjoyed the food. My friend tried lamb for the first time. She was in heaven. The server was great. My only complaints were the lamb was overcooked, but still juicy, and the kids running all over the place (and the boy that was hitting his brother with a belt, not hard, but still annoying).“

“The pizzas are always good, but they are ALWAYS so short-staffed. If they had a full staff they would have pizzas done faster, and not a line of people waiting all the time.

The staff they have are kind and respectful, and I'm sure they work as fast as they can, but overall be ready to wait for your pizza for a while.

“Upon entering I was taken back that only a mother and her daughter were in the establishment but no worries the service was amazing, friendly, quick, explained all the toppings and choice to my mother who hadn’t been in a while, and I tell you what Chad took great care of us. Chad when the ingredients were getting low said “let me grab you some fresh stuff I wouldn’t want the crumbles on my pizza” which showed how much he cares about what he does… we need more people like Chad in the work place and in general, patient kind and the pizza was hot delicious and fresh like always. Highly recommend this location in general“

“Pizza is always amazing, love their garlic butter. I need the secret recipe.
The only problem I have is delivery in-house charges of 5.00 dollars. I'm already paying you for the pizza so I pay you again for your service. Then I feel like the driver gets ripped off so I tip him. That makes me average or more paying an extra 10 or so for the pizza. For no reason! I will not be ordering delivery anytime soon.“

“I have loved this pizza my whole life every time I come home from vacation or other issues I get a pizza and always great. The young lady at the Tipp store is always so sweet and nice. She makes me feel like we known each other for years. I don’t know her name but she is expecting soon. I hope the company takes really good care of her. People like her are hard to find.“

I went 30 minutes later to get it and the person worker said just a minute. 10 minutes went by and when I asked he said "oh we had to remake it". I asked why and he pointed to the register and said the machine messed up. I asked if the machine made it the first time and he said no. I asked for the manager and I saw him tell the manager I wanted to speak with him. Manager did not even bother to come talk to me or make eye contact. Just kept working. I took a refund and left. Staff did not care or made no effort to fix the problem. Horrible customer service. Would strongly encourage another place. 11-28-17 Papa John's redeemed themselves today. They addressed the problem from the earlier post. The pizza we ordered today was fresh, hot and delicious. The order was complete and ready on time for pick up. I only saw two staff in the building but they were efficient and very polite.“

“To be honest, I didn't know it, but they are renovating the restaurant. We ate in the dining room but should have just taken it to go. It is dusty and messy inside. However, the food was great. It was hot and the pizza VERY good! The service was great, the lady that took our order was very kind and took great care of us. I am looking forward to seeing the place when it is finished. My recommendation, however, is to order food to go (or delivery) until the renovations are complete.“
