“We (5 people) ate an early dinner here yesterday. Nice ambiance. We tried a large selection: edamame, ebi shumai, salmon onigiri, fried squid, ebi tempura, miso ramen, chicken katsu bento box, tonkotsu ramen, teriyaki don, red bean ice cream and sasadango. Everything was delicious. Our youngest liked it so much, we’re coming back for their birthday. Our server Natalie was wonderful also.“

“Great neighborhood take out restaurant. Chicken lo mein, crab rangoons, and won ton soup is really good. First time getting Mongolian chicken here- ordered medium spicey and that was great but other than that the chicken didnt have much flavor. Have ordered here before and likely will again. Good service and good food.“

“I ordered a teriyaki chicken kid meal coming with an egg roll and a can of soda. The teriyaki chicken tasted amazing without too much salt and oil. The juicy cabbage improved the taste.
The room was clean. WiFi was available. Service was fast. There were also sushi rolls, daily specials, and lunch specials.“

“WOW… House of Japan near Polaris Mall in Columbus, Ohio was absolutely packed for Mother’s Day, but they still had us seated in about 30 minutes which was impressive with how busy they were.
The hibachi experience was phenomenal. Watching the chef cook everything fresh right in front of us made it a fun experience instead of just dinner. I ordered the filet mignon cooked medium and it came out perfect. Great food, great atmosphere, generous portions, and the staff kept things moving smoothly even with the crowd.
If you’re in the Columbus area and want a fun dinner spot, House of Japan at Polaris is definitely worth checking out.“

“Delicious little place in the middle of Columbus. Don't let the exterior fool you when you get there, go inside and try it.
The food is very good with a wide menu, the price looks a little high but the portion size is worth it.
The associates inside are very kind and polite, making you feel right at home while you order your food and eat.“
