“We came in to pick up some ice cream to go and I was completely caught off guard by how personable and friendly the entire experience was. The staff constantly checked in on the guests and made sure to check and see if everyone knew all of the options and made sure everyone was happy. They knew the names of their regulars and even knew what they wanted. With hospitality being almost a lost art these days the Freezing Cow is a breath of fresh air. “Andy's is the frozen custard version of Dairy Queen or Braum's. They have a few branches around the city including this place along Pennsylvania near Quail Springs. Opening hours are 11am to 11.30pm daily. They have walk-in and drive through, menu is fairly comprehensive and can require a few minutes to familiarise if visiting for the first time. Stopped by this branch and ordered a medium James Brownie Funky Jackhammer, forgetting that medium in the States translates to extra large in Asia. This was large serving of very good vanilla custard with some brownie bits, fudge and creamy peanut butter, very rich, flavourful and sinfully good. Would be happy to order the same or try something new but would go with more manageable small size.“

Only thing is when it rains you can barely hear anything in the drive thru speaker when it's raining. The people who work there have been trying to let the higher ups there, but they haven't done anything about it. If you are a Braums higher up, please get this location a new water resistant speaker for crying out loud! It makes it hard to communicate or hear what they are saying even though we love all the workers here!“

“First time I’ve tried Andy’s Frozen Custard. It was delicious! I had a root beer float which was rich, creamy and refreshing. There was lots of ways to have your frozen custard made into. There was plenty of parking and a drive-thru. I would highly recommend Andy’s Frozen Custard ice cream for your next dessert option.“

“Whoa. This was soooooo good!! Everyone in my family loved their ice cream! Premium flavors that are amazing and the quantity you get is a solid amount. We all loved the cake batter, Cookie Monster, mint chocolate chip, and pistachio. All were 10/10. And the vibes around the Chisholm Creek only enhanced the experience. Gotta stop by!

I will say there is no indoor seating, so the vibe/experience may be a bit different if weather isn’t great.“

“Not only does this place offer great fast food, including shakes and ice cream cones, they offer a little grocery store that has a variety of sugar free ice creams without the ‘fake sugars’ added and actually taste like the real thing. I highly recommend.“

“I recently treated myself to a banana split at Braum’s, and while my dessert was delicious, I did notice that the store cleanliness left a bit to be desired. The tables and floors could use more attention, which detracted from the overall experience. ​However, I must say that the quality of their ice cream and butter is truly unmatched.​ The banana split was generously sized and featured an incredible blend of flavors that made it clear why Braum's is a local favorite.

Each scoop of ice cream was rich and creamy, and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. The real star, of course, was the butter, which added a delightful touch to my treat. I’ve always been a fan of their products, and this visit reaffirmed my belief that their ice cream is among the best in town.

While the store’s upkeep could use improvement, the quality of food served at Braum’s keeps me coming back. If you're in the mood for a sweet indulgence, I definitely recommend trying their banana split. Just be prepared for the environment to be a bit less than pristine.
