“Fish Tales is our very first stop as we get to Broken Bow. The wine and food are delicious. It makes the beginning of our getaway very inviting . Gin, not sure of the spelling of his name, is so friendly and there is no charge for the wine tasting which they make. We always have requests to bring our friends some of their wine when we go. The outside deck is a delightful setting after traveling in the car. We highly recommend you visiting Fish Tales. You won’t be disappointed!🤗”

“My wife and I stopped in this brewery to try a few local beers on one of our first days in Broken Bow. It was a great experience, great beer options for any taste. We got to bring our dogs on the patio and even met some new friends. If you're in Broken Bow it's a great spot to wind down in the evenings.”

“We received a warm welcome as soon as we entered the building. In addition to offering free wine tastings roughly every fifteen minutes, there are a ton of entertaining things to see and experience inside. I adored how positive and adaptable the attitude was. We came with our kids and its family friendly ambiance. 10/10 suggest”

“We had an engagement dinner catered by Mexico Lindo this weekend. The portions were generous and everything was yummy. We had a mix of chicken and beef fajitas with all the fixings. Everything was packaged so that we could serve directly from the pans with individually wrapped tortillas and individual chips and salsa. It was a perfect dinner for a special occasion. Thank you!”

“We stopper in with friends and let me tell you what. You ope the door and the wonderful aroma of cumin and home made tamales hits you square in the face. It's a tiny place but there are tables outside under the shade room. Don't let the older building and small size keep you from trying it. Amazing food and wonderful staff who just want to feed you excellent quality food!!”

“Wow! My husband and I visited Rouge Local and it was perfection! I had a chicken fried steak and it fork tender, no knife needed!! My husband had the ribeye and he said it was cooked perfectly and delish!!! On top of the food the wait staff, incredible! It is LaBor Day weekend so we knew they would be busy, we got seated right away and service was top notch! 10/10”

“Roma’s is perfect while staying in Broken Bow/Hochatown area!! We ordered a few days ahead of time. If you are looking for relaxation without spending all your time cooking, with great food, they are your answer!! They can do regular orders or large pans for families!! I highly recommend them!!”

“The place closes at 8pm, we show up at 7:20 pm and were told, we're not taking any more dine in seating this close to closing time. Meanwhile, there's at least twenty people standing outside waiting for tables . My husband & I have worked in the restaurant industry and we're both appalled at this statement. We always give alot of leeway since we are aware of the challenges working in the service industry has but a business who counts on out of state visitors, this was a major disappointment.”

“How often do you go out to eat nowadays only to be disappointed by the quality of food you received? My answer is quite often. The food here was fresh, well seasoned and really quite tasty. I got the street tacos, 1 skrimp, 1 chkn, 1 brisket. All the meat selections were great. No fat or gristle, as is usually the case. The wait staff are young and friendly and efficient enough. Oh yeah, the Mac and Cheese is homemade goodness. The only thing that sucks is I would have to drive 3+ hours to go back. That said, I will be back. Yum yum.”

“The food was very good! The only reason I would not give it five stars was that the service was a bit slow. The kids enjoyed their soft tacos deleting both of them quickly, and wife and I enjoyed our enchiladas. I’m not sure why, but the waiter thought I wanted queso on my enchiladas, which I did not, however they turned out good anyhow. They would have been better with traditional enchilada sauce, but that was lost in translation.

All in all, I’d go back! Pretty good food.”

“Highly Recommend. We had a great experience here, thanks in large part to our bartender, Amanda. We stopped in just after the lunch rush & she greeted us as soon as we pulled out our chairs and immediately made us feel welcome. She took our drink order, offered thoughtful suggestions from the menu, and really took the time to ask about our likes and dislikes.

Amanda was personable, professional, and genuinely friendly — I wish we met more bartenders like her! Our drinks were always full, the conversation was great, and she even shared awesome ideas on things to do and places to check out while we were in town. Excellent service all around.”

“We come to Broken Bow every year. This place is on our list for breakfast every morning of our stay. You will NOT get a better biscuit anywhere else in the state of OK. It is a mom and pop place, one waitress, seat yourself. If you need coddling and conversation from the waitress, go elsewhere. If you want a good hot breakfast, come hungry! We will always be back.
