“I had such a great experience at The Hochahut! I called in an order just a few minutes before closing, and not only did they take my order, but they also waited a little after closing to make sure I got it. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming when I arrived, and the food was delicious! I really appreciate their great service and hospitality. I’ll definitely be back!”

“We were here for about a week and I made sure we went twice because the food and wine is that good! I loved that we got to try 6 of our choice at no charge but the wine is so good we both walked away with a glass and I ended up buying 3 bottles to take home, I tried all the wineries here but fishtales stayed at number 1 for both the food and delicious wine. If you like sweet you can’t go wrong with the pineapple or peach and the Hudson creek blackberry red was also very good! And the paninis are to die for the flavor combos may sounds strange but some of the best things you wouldn’t expect to go well together ! Also according to the people I ate with their brisket is also delicious (just not my thing personally!) and if you have someone that likes beer they do also serve beer. We were just sad we didn’t get to try the potato soup, maybe next time we’re here !”

“We visited Buffalo Grill and discovered the Front Porch Peach ale from here. It was so good we had to stop and buy a growler from them of it! We drank it all during our trip here! We went back today with the empty growler and they refill them for a discounted rate. We got the watermelon sour this time! We also sampled the lemon sour! Both were very good! Three different people helped us over both visits, very friendly, knowledgeable! Definitely recommend. Visited 7/7/25.”

“We received a warm welcome as soon as we entered the building. In addition to offering free wine tastings roughly every fifteen minutes, there are a ton of entertaining things to see and experience inside. I adored how positive and adaptable the attitude was. We came with our kids and its family friendly ambiance. 10/10 suggest”

“We had an engagement dinner catered by Mexico Lindo this weekend. The portions were generous and everything was yummy. We had a mix of chicken and beef fajitas with all the fixings. Everything was packaged so that we could serve directly from the pans with individually wrapped tortillas and individual chips and salsa. It was a perfect dinner for a special occasion. Thank you!”

“This place was by far one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been to! I did an internship in Georgia for the summer and I ate here at least twice a week! The food, the people, the atmosphere, and the prices were phenomenal. I’ll miss it!”

“We stopper in with friends and let me tell you what. You ope the door and the wonderful aroma of cumin and home made tamales hits you square in the face. It's a tiny place but there are tables outside under the shade room. Don't let the older building and small size keep you from trying it. Amazing food and wonderful staff who just want to feed you excellent quality food!!”

“The place closes at 8pm, we show up at 7:20 pm and were told, we're not taking any more dine in seating this close to closing time. Meanwhile, there's at least twenty people standing outside waiting for tables . My husband & I have worked in the restaurant industry and we're both appalled at this statement. We always give alot of leeway since we are aware of the challenges working in the service industry has but a business who counts on out of state visitors, this was a major disappointment.”

“How often do you go out to eat nowadays only to be disappointed by the quality of food you received? My answer is quite often. The food here was fresh, well seasoned and really quite tasty. I got the street tacos, 1 skrimp, 1 chkn, 1 brisket. All the meat selections were great. No fat or gristle, as is usually the case. The wait staff are young and friendly and efficient enough. Oh yeah, the Mac and Cheese is homemade goodness. The only thing that sucks is I would have to drive 3+ hours to go back. That said, I will be back. Yum yum.”

“The chicken fried steak served here is the thickest, most flavorful, most tender steak I have ever eaten. Freshly hand battered and fried just right. The gravy complimented the steak and mashed potatoes. The server was very friendly and service was great. The menu has many great choices to choose from so a repeat visit will be necessary as this was our first experience at Beavers Bend Restaurant. We vacation here a couple times a year and sure glad we discovered this great restaurant.”

“My family was in Hochatown for the weekend and we wanted to find a different place for breakfast and we found this place on line and we were so glad we did . Service was excellent and accommodating and several had the chicken fried steak for brunch. They don’t usually prepare for brunch but they did and it was excellent!!”

“Incredible place, you walk into old school style saloon doors and then the inside is huge, with seating and bars both down and upstairs. Service was great, we had a large party of 30, and were taken care of quickly and efficiently. I ordered the prime rib dip, and it was served with a side of au jus. The meat was tender and full of flavor, the bread was a bit stale and flavorless. Side of chips was just crushed ruffles, so that was kind of a bummer. Overall good experience and solid options.”
