Mmmmm, it was amazing. The restaurant is decorated very nicely. The place looks great. It is a great place to eat with good prices.“

“We lost our old fish and chips place and I can’t stand the ‘chain’ versions. I’ve been hunting for a replacement in Durham….and found it!
There were super fast and friendly but more importantly the fish and chips are awesome (even taking home to eat)
The coleslaw is the classic style my wife and a must have with pepper.

“We were planning a trip to Ajax/Pickering area for some errands and were looking for a spot for lunch.
(Preferably Fish & Chips). Did a quick Google search and this place was allover the place. This place was FANTASTIC!!! Probably the best Halibilut I've ever had. Crispy and batter stayed on the fish. Fries were also good. We Also ordered a side of Scottish Bread with butter. Service was excellent as our water glasses kept being topped off.Decor was interesting with all the walls covered with Scottish memorabilia. A little pricy but you get what you pay.for. And Oh....tons of tartar sauce packages.“

“The service was 👌 super friendly, very welcoming and polite. Food was fresh, very good and the fries were great. Affordable and had that old restaurant feel, if you appreciate nostalgia. Didn’t realize it was so close to the mall, sometimes you get bored of eating in the court especially when it’s close to closing time. Will definitely come back with the family and recommend.“

The fish and the batter are second to none as well as the chips ……and I’m from Scotland , so I can be a hard judge so can my mother. We are both very impressed. Also, there’s sides of coleslaw which are made in house that I highly recommend.
I bet if they were to do mushy peas on the side, it would be dynamite too“

I ordered Pollock 1 Fish (3 oz) & 1/2 chips for only $6.95 + tax and wow, that was a crazy steal of a deal! The fish was served nice and hot off the fry, and it taste absolutely crispy and delicious! So worth it, a must try!“
