“Always a pleasant experience when I have visited in the past. It has been a long while though, and I was not underwhelmed or disappointed with last night's visit! The outdoor seating area was not yet set up as it's still too chilly to hang out outside. Nice to see it clean and ready to go, they have a little stage out there for live music along what looks like a nice size dance floor. The retail shop is inviting, well stocked. I have to keep this shop in my mind for gift buying. Huge window for patrons to check out the craft distillery side of the establishment which has tremendous eye appeal; it's definitely a conversation starter and maybe learn some fun facts in their whole process. *Hard to choose my favorite spirit there; Coffee Whisky..Apple Caramel Whisky..Grapefruit Vodka?? I am also intrigued with their Cosmos and Cinnamon Whisky😲🤗 The drink menu is on jam with many interesting collaborations... unique and appealing. Some of the guests were complimenting the mojotos, while a few were raving about the specialty liquors. The espresso martini was delicious. I had a true-made Whisky Sour: egg whites frothed to perfection. LOVE THE DRIED FRUIT served in the drinks or to garnish giving your beverage a sleek and polished look. The bartenders were friendly, quick and efficient. I didn't catch all their names; shout out to Sara 🙂 and Kalob (I think that is his name). The buffet style service was spectacular!!! First up were 2 colourful, bright and fresh salads.. Yorkshire pudding looked like clouds baked from heaven...bright red and green sautéed flavourful veggies. Next up was the potato dish, which was on point! Huge competition between the beautiful lobster tails and the perfectly made prime rib (I had to call a tie... both sooo tasty) I do recall a dessert option..which I heard some of the guests rave about. Looking forward to visits here with good times, tasty dishes, and fun drinks“

“The only reason I’m giving a good review is because the bartender. Thank you for Amanda for the great service. I’ve always loved this bar but the clientele is biggest problem. There’s a big guy in orange clothes that smells so bad you want to throw up. I’m not sure why he’s allowed in.“

“I've been here several times as a guest and always enjoyed it and loved all the tradition this organization has. Everyone is friendly and the entertainment is always top notch. I love the beautiful waterfront view here at the point where the Detroit River opens into Lake Erie. This club is connected to an island that is connected to an island that is connected to an island. “BEST FOOD Ever for Downriver's Best Brewery. Outstanding selection of Brews!! Ate there constantly since they opened in Nov 2019. Food is DEEEEELICIOUS! 3 Awesome Brewers/Owners, 5 Outstanding Waitresses, and 2 Superb Cooks. Their constant smiles are catchy for all to view!! Just a wonderful & comfortable place to visit and relax at. And you can play Domino’s there too! Always Enjoy.“

“I've been going to this place to watch the Wings win since the 1990s, but have since moved to Alaska. But everytime I come home, I'm still drawn to this place like a moth to a flame. It's changed over the years, but they still keep high quality beers in tap and in the bottle.
They removed the TV from the men's room, which needs to be out back so a guy doesn't miss a goal while having a piss. Its only fair, right?“

“I Love this bar it is a great bar it just recently opened up again I'm excited for every weekend. Open mic on Fridays there's also stand-up comedy the bar is really coming together everybody should come down and have a great time with us. I consider myself as family with the bar because I live right next door and I'm there all the time and they're very kind and courteous to their customers. And it's a place of dancing pool games old school jukebox and great times..... Stay tuned more is coming“

“Nice tavern and nice atmosphere. Food is good but I tried the cob salad with blackened chicken twice now. The blackened chicken is not tender. Quite hard to chew. So I probably won’t recommend or order chicken salad again. Drinks were good and service was fine.“

“I would rank this as the best gluten free pizza in the Detroit & downriver area. I'm fully gluten free and have tried roughly 10-15 places & this takes the cake! Perfectly cooked, fresh ingredients & toppings. Lovely service too! Also they sell hot sauce made locally which is amazing on the pizza :)“

“First time here! When you hear about little bars or restaurants off the beaten path that have great food, Franks Cafe is the place. We squeezed in to the last two available seats at the bar today (Fish fry Friday) and ordered the walleye and the perch. The wait for it was a little long but holy moly, well worth the wait! The owner was in constant motion at the fryers working his butt off as were the wait staff and bartenders too. I’ve had fish all over the downriver area and this place was the best! I’m from Irish Hills where they have good fish too, but I’m telling you, try the fish at Franks! Outstanding!“

“Want to give a review for Chloe S. I came in with my grandparents and niece along with my 2 children, 3yrs. old and 8 weeks old. She sat us outside under the awning and was a great experience. Showed the kids a lot of attention and made sure we were all taken care of coming out and checking on us consistently. BTW the food was great!“
