“Was looking for somewhere in this mall to meet a friend. Used google for a list of places to eat in this mall and came across this little gem of a place. Great food, quality, great service, and reasonably priced. Good location to get to many other things in Barrie. Looking forward to going back and trying more menu options. Both myself and friend enjoyed our meal.

Vegetarian options: Noticed some options and some gluten free items also.

Parking: Restaurant was one of the cleanest I have visited in a long time. Decorated very nicely. Made the visit enjoyable. Restaurant I noticed has a full bar area.

Kid-friendliness: Good place for kids but didn’t see a play area. Geared more for adults. Noticed also a full bar area.

Dietary restrictions: Sometimes they put regular milk instead of oat/soy/almond milk in my wife's drink, and while I agree it tastes better it does NOT agree with her tum tum“

“Was so hungry after a fasted blood draw at the LifeLabs, so had a delicious breakfast wrap and iced honey oat latte, both were delicious! Wrap tasted homemade, would definitely have breakfast here again next time I’m in the area for an appointment! Thank you to the kind workers as well!“

I’ve been coming to this Starbucks location for over 7 years, and honestly, the only reason this review is so delayed is because I truly thought I had already written one!

The entire team here is fantastic, but I absolutely have to shout out Maggie and Trevor — they are the heart and soul of this store. Every time I visit, they go above and beyond, making each customer feel valued and welcome. Not once have they ever made me feel like an inconvenience, no matter how busy it gets.

A perfect example: there's a newer barista (likely still in training), and a few of the drinks haven’t been quite right. For the first time ever, I’ve had to bring a drink back — and every single time, Maggie or Trevor has remade it quickly, kindly, and with no fuss, making sure I get the drink I know and love.

Trevor, in particular, has incredible people-reading skills. He somehow knows exactly when to chat and brighten your day — even while multitasking — and when to give you space until you’ve had that first sip of caffeine (which, let’s be honest, is a superpower).

And Maggie... there aren’t enough words for how genuinely sweet and kind she is. She has such a warm, calming presence and truly makes your day better just by being herself. Starbucks is lucky to have someone like her lighting up the store.

When I returned to order a new drink, the employee (Denise, or Diane her name started with a D) replaced my drink. I was not expecting this and she was so kind and understanding. Although it’s not a big Starbucks restaurant she performed high quality service and really made me smile. “Always such an amazing experience at this Starbucks! The employees are kind, efficient, and drinks are made perfectly every time! I used to work at another Starbucks so I definitely appreciate when the baristas take their time to make sure the order is correct and they perfect it every time!

During my recent visit I was doing some work in the cafe and felt so welcomed and taken care of. Nida, an employee at this location, checked in on us and offered us waters while we were winding down for the evening. She was busy keeping the place clean and tidy, so to go out of her way to make sure we were taken care of was exceptional!

“I would always recommend this tim hortans in the morning always fast and most important always right but i just got home with what im pretty sure is a cup half filled with milk quater coffee absoulty disgusting product i even questioned him because the lid was labled +m 1s he said oh sorry it should b a 1 and let me leave with this warm cup of milk not at all what i ordered would have taken him half a min 2 fix the mistake instead of lie and loose a costomer i understand they dont care if they loose one costumer but thats not the point we pay for the coffee we should be able 2 drink and enjoy what we order“

“I ordered a caramel ribbon crunch creme frappe on Friday February 23rd around 7:30pm and the girl working who made my drink was the absolute best. Nobody has made my drink better. “I ordered a steeped tea and potato wedges, and everything was perfect. The tea was hot and brewed just right—exactly how I like it. The potato wedges were fresh, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. What made it even better was the friendly service. The staff member PRINK was polite, quick, and made sure my order was accurate. It's always nice to see a smile at the counter. 😍😍“
