“Tonight I went to Goodlot. I don't drink alcohol but went with a group of friends. They had a non alcoholic cider that was delicious. The ambiance was fabulous totally chill and friendly. There were games for kids or adults to play. Chickens wandering around. Live music and a Polish food truck that was excellent! Thoroughly enjoyed myself and definitely will go again.“

“Just wanted to share an amazing experience at Jive Fest 2024. What a pleasure to see people of all ages enjoying the relaxing atmosphere at Sonnen Hill. There is no better place to get out of the city, grab a picnic table, enjoy great craft beer, and play some bocce ball or washer toss with friends and family. Seeing young families relaxing and enjoying a pint, while their kids burn off steam playing cornhole or catch, was so refreshing. What a great place for families to relax at the end of a busy week. “Just want to share the most beautiful & gracious experience we had at the BVR last night! (02/12/2025) We had booked a party of 12 for my mums birthday at 6pm. But the storm hit. My mums best friend called to confirm our reservation & we were good to go. Show up to BVR & they have a sign saying due to the weather they will be closing at 6.. same time as our reso. While we totally understand everyone’s safety is important we at first were worried our reservation had been cancelled without our knowledge. That couldn’t have been farther from the truth. The restaurant, waitresses & chefs stayed open just for us. To serve us on my mums birthday celebration. We insisted a few times for them to close, but they said no we want you to have a great birthday. To them it might have been a small act, but to us it was huge. We are so so appreciative of this act of kindness. Our meals were top notch, the server was amazing & over all it was an amazing experience. Thank you all so much for staying open for us and for an awesome evening. 💖“

“This is a great location with good food and drink. We have come a couple times, but this time we were impressed by the service. When our food wasn’t prepared properly, they made us another pizza for free, as well as replacing a spilled drink. We were very impressed.“
