I don’t eat fast food burgers, only independent spots that serve up a solid burger unique to them.
So I cruise Superburger and Champ Burger in the area.
A friend recommended the Burger Station east of Cookstown, so I headed over from Alliston.
I have to say, they have it down pretty darn well.
I had the Union Station Burger combo, fries and a shake.
The burger was excellent, I love the side of mayonnaise with the fries, which were quite good, and a solid chocolate milkshake.
The staff are very friendly and helpful as well.
Lots of seating and some cool train station art around the restaurant.

The young woman at the counter was eager to make sure we got exactly what we wanted from ensuring we were comfortable with the level of spice of my sandwich, added extra pickles right before our food was ready as we nearly forgot to ask, and even asked if it was ok to give our son a juice box “on the house”. Great communication and went above and beyond with service including plenty of ketchup and napkins without needing to ask. Food was great and very happy with our first impression!!“

I was greeted with a smile from very friendly staff. :) I was concerned that it might be too spicy, but the counterperson said that they could tone it down with less sauce. The sandwich was excellent. Freshly cooked, very nice chicken breast with a light crispy coating. The fries are fresh, not frozen and the fountain drinks are unlimited. I will be back!

Their Easter Specials were advertised by the door and the “Roast Lamb” caught our attention and we decided to give it a try. The lamb was cooked perfectly; tender, moist and nicely seasoned. It was served with mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables and garlic bread. The sauce that came with the lamb was also very good. This exceptional meal was reasonably priced at just under $20. Dinner for 2 with coffee and tea came to just over $50 with tax. Well done Davis Diner.“

“On great reviews we decided to try Perfect Szn. We reserved a table for a party of 9. Celebrating both my parents 80th b/d and our grand daughters birthday. My folks were coming from out of town and had never met their great grand daughter so it was a very special celebration. Perfect Szn did not disappoint. They actually exceeded our expectations. Our meals were so fresh and delicious. A few of us had fries as our sides. Omg, the fries are to die for. With a touch of Perfect Szn seasoning is a must try. Our server Kristen was so friendly, patient, sweet and went above and beyond to make our experience great. You know when someone loves their job and it truly showed with her. So, my husband had a floater in his beer, they disagreed but reluctantly gave him a new beer. there was a beer and wine special, we were only told about the beer. I asked for flats only and was told no guarantee would probably get one or two drumsticks - I got two flats... (see photo). waitress said "oh sorry" . waste of 14.99 for 8 wings. my husband overheard the waitress tell the Manager and he said "oh don't worry about it they won't be back anyways". he is correct!!“

“Second time being to this location, always seems to be pretty good. My daughter loves the robot that delivers the food. I had the same waitress twice. She did a fantastic job. If I had a suggestion, make sure you haven't ran out of the cheese bread and the Caesar salad. The fries on the menu are the cheapest thing for a restaurant to purchase and serve. Make sure that the fries are full and don't be a cheapskate on them. Other than that, overall great experience“
