“Highly recommended for those carnivores- brisket loving- meat eating people! The customer service was quick, attentive and kind! The brisket was juicy, hot and full of smoke flavour and the sides were also delicious! The restaurant has a couple booths as well as bar style and tables with chairs! We will definitely be back to support this restaurant!! (I did see they had (v) options but was unsure if they were vegan or vegetarian! Lots of parking and fun things on the walls to look at! Many thanks to the gentleman who and the lady who were working when my daughter took a fall! “Tazah Taste Desi has very quickly become our favourite spot for creating one of the most authentic, aromatic and delicious Biryanis (we usually get the goat/lamb biryani) in my area. A little more meat/chicken would be nice, even though just purchasing the Biryani rice by itself to combine with another curry is a great idea. It is a counter-service "pick-up" outlet and they get your order ready fairly quickly. The lady and the gentleman who manage the counter are always very polite and the service is very good. “Friends BBQ is definitely one of our regular go-to restaurants. If you want to try authentic northern Chinese cuisine, this is the place to go. The northern-style pork is a must-order, and the BBQ lamb and chicken skewers are highly recommended as well. Great service and authentic flavors every time.“

“Last night, I had the pleasure of arranging a dinner for my former colleagues from Unilever Pakistan. There were about 40 of us, and I’ve had the privilege of organizing these gatherings for a few years now, each time at a different restaurant. This time, we met at Charsi Karhai, and I have to say, it was truly one of the best experiences we've had. This isn’t just my opinion; everyone who attended had glowing feedback. Here’s why: • Prayer arrangements: Since our dinner was scheduled for 7 pm, around maghrib, many of us wanted to offer prayers. The restaurant already had a decent arrangement in place, which was very thoughtful. • Personalized menu: Gill, the restaurant manager, coordinated with me to fine-tune the menu to our liking. We went back and forth with texts and calls to ensure everything was just right, and I really appreciated the effort. Both Gill and his team member, Bipsha, were extremely helpful throughout. • Private space: Half of the restaurant was allocated to us with a partition set up. This allowed us to have our own space, which gave everyone the chance to mingle freely. It was such a refreshing change from our usual restaurant experiences, where we’d end up seated at separate tables with limited interaction. • Delicious food: The food, as always, was outstanding. We ordered Chicken Karhai, Goat Karhai, Tawa Keema, Bihari Kebab, and Palak Daal. Midway through dinner, Gill suggested adding Kheer for dessert, which was a hit with everyone. We also included tea, which wasn’t in our original plan, but it made the evening even better. • Buffet style: The food was served buffet-style, which made everything so much smoother. There was no clutter on the tables, and everyone could help themselves, ensuring nothing went to waste. It also encouraged people to move around and connect with others, which really added to the warm and social atmosphere. • Excellent service: The service was top-notch. Bipsha and the team were very professional and patient, especially considering the size of our group. • Reasonable prices: The food was priced quite reasonably, especially considering all the extra touches that made the evening so special. • Personal touch: During the dinner, the restaurant owner, Jamshed, came by to check on us. He personally spoke with me to ensure everything was going smoothly and asked if there was anything else they could do to enhance our experience. It was a lovely gesture. One thing I discovered about Charsi Karhai is that they offer a customizable buffet for larger groups, which is quite unique compared to other restaurants. You get to choose the dishes you want rather than sticking to a fixed menu, which I thought was a great option. I know this may sound like I’m promoting Charsi Karhai, but I genuinely mean every word. Not sure if it was because my daughter was dolled up for her bday or not, but they put our family in one of the rooms was made the dinner feel really special (VIP-type atmosphere). “I’ve tried many BBQ AYCE places in Toronto, and this place has one of highest quality of meat.

I can tell pork belly is thick and not too fatty.
Cold noodles, and Bibimbab were so good together with meats.

All marinated meats were delicious and reminded me of Korea

And adding to it, grandma from kitchen, and server auntie was super kind.
I can see that they were really trying to provide the best service.

I visited with my boyfriend today and ate AYCE, and it was very delicious.
The seasoned meat was also very good.
To be honest, there are many other AYCE places where the bacon is thin, but the meat here was big, thick, and good.

The grandmother and the waitress were very kind, and I could see them trying to take extra care of me in any way possible, so I felt good and grateful while eating!
