“I have been going here for years, their pepper shrimp fried rice is amazingly tasty, however, their customer service is poor. They don’t know how to communicate with their customers appropriately, and they are not that friendly either.
I went to the restaurant and there were a group of workers sitting around and yelling, cussing, gossiping and laughing. Just not a good look in my opinion, other than that the food is very good and I recommend ordering takeout rather than sitting in the restaurant.“

“Purchased meat on Saturday July 15,2023 in the evening. This is how it looked. Before the owner chimes on here we left the store and headed straight home! And refrigerated it too cook the following day. The meat smelt foul and looked gray. This is not the only time this had happened, we have purchasee minced beef there and same thing it was spoilt ONE DAY AFTER with Proper Storage. I find it funny as well they have a sign saying they take no responsibility for spoilt meat! You are selling spoilt meat! Along with what seems to be there poor quality of meat, pre-pandemic their prices were overpriced now post-pandemic prices are through the roof! The female worker also has a chip on her shoulder! Seems like asking her questions is bothering her and always responds rudely. I think I will start back heading to mississauga FH MultiFoods where they have halal meat and west indian grocers and are always friendly and willing to help and meat quality is A+.“

“I am an Anglo with a Guyanese husband. I love a good curry roti. After trying this restaurant I don’t want Caribbean flavours anywhere else. Great chicken curry; best doubles I ever tasted. I liked everything we ordered. Great service too. If you want the real thing you won’t be disappointed. It’s worth the drive to Brampton.“

“This is the fifth visit, but the best food visit, over two years. Lucky for me the cook/chef was in, and I asked questions. He did a good job with fresh ingredients to the sauces, and it was second time I had gizzards in 10 years, the last time was in Erie County. You could tell the sauce blend prior to serving, much better experience than before, which was average. Congrats and thank you!! we had shrimp wontons, roast pork, char sui pork (which was a version) and pepper gizzards. I even showed him a pic of the 14lb roast I left in the oven that day and checking in on....8hr roast. Just make sure the young cook/chef is in when you dine. Thanks again chef....“

“First time coming here today, after I saw someone do a review on TikTok. Ordered jerk chicken/fry chicken, rice &peas w/oxtail gravy. Really good flavourful rice. Tasty chicken. Would recommend. Have to go back and try the curry goat & calaloo next“

“Came here for a quick bite, and was pleasantly surprised with some delicious doubles. The doubles are cooked to perfection and the tamarind sauce and hot sauce just take it over the top.

But alongside the delicious, flavourful quick bite what sets them apart is the homey feel, and the amazing Caribbean hospitality by those serving us.

Since I've never tried anything Caribbean before I asked him for a recommendation for breakfast and he gave me the saltfish and yam and plantain omg ong omg I went home and devoured it!!!!!! “This is my go to spot for carribean Chinese food. The special chicken fried rice with chicken on top is excellent and reasonably priced it's a must try. Place is old not much atmosphere but the food is solid. The pepper sauce is one of my favorites, they are little stingy with the pepper sauce but ask for more anyways .“
