“Awesome sushi restaurant with impressively fresh ingredients and consistently great flavour. Everything I ordered was delicious, from the rolls to the nigiri, and you can really tell they take pride in the quality of their fish. The presentation was clean and appealing, and the portions were just right without feeling skimpy. The service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere made the meal even better — relaxed, comfortable, and perfect for either a casual bite or a nicer night out. “I loved the food and service, the only thing that bothered me was the place didn’t have a table, just few chairs. I wanted to have my food there as it was raining outside and eating by holding the food in my hand seem inconvenient so I had to leave and go to nearby Tim Hortons. Even just one small table would be nice for people who just wanna have a quick meal.“

“Our 1st experience at Sushiya Bloom. The high reviews meant we just had to try it. The decor is modern and the atmosphere is quite elegant. Would have preferred more privacy for couples/date nights.
Kan, our server was knowledgeable and made some good recommendations. He was very likeable and attentive and ensured we had a great experience.
And now for the food, everything we ordered was on point. The otoro was outstanding, simply melts in the mouth. Butter on fire was yet another stellar dish as well as the butterfish sashimi. The food came out quickly enough and the sake kept us warm throughout.

“Great time at Takumi. We got there just after 6pm on a Thursday and they were able to seat our family of 5. Not sure if it was because my daughter was dolled up for her bday or not, but they put our family in one of the rooms was made the dinner feel really special (VIP-type atmosphere). The meats were fresh, the grills had pretty even heat distribution, and the selection of vegetables was phenomenal. The service was also very attentive. Good for families, dates, and many events due to their private rooms“

“I always order the bibab bowl with tofu and black rice, the vegetables are always fresh, the service is fast and friendly, I’ve order food from here about 10 times and I’ve NEVER had an issue with the food or the service. It’s rare to find that these days. And to add, I normally don’t like tofu that much, but the way they make it here is so delicious!

“The restaurant is pretty big with semi private rooms and once you walk into the restaurant, you are captivated by the interior decorations which makes you feel so calm and welcomed. Momentarily after, you are welcomed by a waitress which guides you to a seat. The service is welcoming and friendly but some of the waiters and waitresses are a bit less welcoming. They are still polite, but they are definitely not as cheery as some other people working there. The food itself was great. For around 21$, you get to pick from a wide variety of options, from udon noodles to teriyaki platters to sushi. I decided to go with a sushi combo and it ended up being pretty enjoyable. The taste was great, the pieces were decent sizes and the fish was quite fresh. I do find the combo a bit plain. I would have preferred having more varieties instead of having 2 pieces of salmon and tuna. The soya sauce was also a bit light in flavours which was fine but it left me wanting something more. The wasabi was also the same. Overall though, it was quite enjoyable and I would definitely like to go back and enjoy some of their more expensive pieces.“

“I've been there a number of times and the staff were quite friendly. Sadly, they seem to have permanenty closed sometime before September 30 because the store has been boarded up. The Square One web-site there are temporarily closed though.“

“What a completely fun adventure to enjoy with kids in tow. Attended a Sunday afternoon outing celebrating a nephew’s 10th birthday. The Teppanyaki experience was so fun and engaging and the customer centric performance of the chef was simply a hoot which was loved by the kids in attendance. “For a mall sushi its pretty good but for what its worth definitely an 8/10 and I like the “end of the day sale” which starts at 6pm part. Also rating service 5 because once my father used to work in the mall and one day I came to buy him a lunch and my dad mentioned to cashier and he gave us free water as goodwill.
