“Food was delicious. We ordered the Maki Platter C and loved every bite. We came at the end of the day and the fish was still fresh. We came at 7:30pm, an hour before closing, and placed a big order. Not only did they take the order, they had it so quickly! The waitress was very kind and accommodating. She gave us extra time at the end of the night to finish and take some pieces home. I will definitely come back again!

I also left my phone in the restaurant 😅 but she came out in the cold to make sure it was back in my hands.

“I loved the food and service, the only thing that bothered me was the place didn’t have a table, just few chairs. I wanted to have my food there as it was raining outside and eating by holding the food in my hand seem inconvenient so I had to leave and go to nearby Tim Hortons. Even just one small table would be nice for people who just wanna have a quick meal.“

“We finally tried this small sushi spot near our home after hearing great things—and it definitely delivered! The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, honestly some of the best we’ve had. While the place itself is quite small and better suited for takeout, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. “My family is a regular here. It's the best Japanese restaurant in Brampton, if not the GTA, in terms of freshness of the sushi, taste and affordability. I've been to more expensive restaurants that don't taste as good as here. You can always trust their quality. The Teriyaki dishes and Korean dishes are delicious as well. I often order Chicken Teriyaki. The food is not too salty or plain; it's just right. Once you like this place, you'll never get bored of it.“

“We dined in for our first time for lunch. Our server was very helpful with the menu. There was lots of options. They always checked on our table to clear and see if we needed anything. We had the beef, chicken, shrimp, rice, noodles, vegetables, salad and ice cream for desert. Everything was very good. We will definitely go back and try some sushi next time.“

“Great time at Takumi. We got there just after 6pm on a Thursday and they were able to seat our family of 5. Not sure if it was because my daughter was dolled up for her bday or not, but they put our family in one of the rooms was made the dinner feel really special (VIP-type atmosphere). The meats were fresh, the grills had pretty even heat distribution, and the selection of vegetables was phenomenal. The service was also very attentive. “A very pleasant dining experience. Anna and Shirley received us and introduced us to the menu and restaurant very kindly. Subu cooked teppanyaki for us. The teppanyaki game was fun and cool. They also performed magic tricks for us. This place is very suitable for a party. Highly recommended!“

“We went there and have a tofu bento and chicken bento. The service was superb. The foods was okay. The girl who served us, was very polite and care about customer. She always ask and ready to check whether we are satisfied or not. The waitress who served us is also pretty and always have smile in her face. Cute girl..

Very recommended to come and have the excellent environment, foods and the services from the girls over there.

Today, Sept 2023, we went again here. But the waitress very fast taking our empty plates. After finishing our meals and put the chopsticks, within 1 minutes, the waitress took our plates. Too fast.

In Dec 2024, we had lunch again here. This time we ordered three menus, and the Korean waitress also nicely offered us bluefin tuna with special price.“

“I found the food really good and the prices are great too! The cashier was super nice and our food came out quick. I got the sushi platter with a bunch of different variations which is a nice option. I also got the teryaki chicken bento with spring rolls and shrimp. The udon noddles are really good and so is the shrimp but the spring rolls weren't my favorite. Ireally enjoyed my meal here and will definitely come back!“

The food at Ono Poke Bar was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. However, the experience was mixed. I waited at the front for about 10 minutes before being greeted, but the staff member who eventually helped me was friendly and polite. The atmosphere wasn’t ideal as the space is quite small (you can only have the food to go), but the adorable stuffed animals scattered around added a nice, quirky touch. Overall, great food but some room for improvement in service and ambiance!“

“I always come to toro toro for special occasions and my birthday was no exception. For this birthday, my friends and I wanted to come here and redeem the birthday reward.

Unfortunately, you have to sign up prior which we did but it takes some time to show up in their system - Michael the manager came out and was so kind in tackling the situation. He called the owner and helped rectify the situation so I could get my birthday reward. Toro toro has my business forever! Thank you Michael and team (especially the girl in the kitten shirt!)“

“By far the best sushi all you can eat in the GTA. Fresh food, good service and huge menu. The best: Fresh sashimi/niguiri/tourched salmon. Beef teriyaki, tuna, shrimp tempura, the variety of soups and rolls. They include green tea. After the second round, service slow down but still, very good service.“
