“Food was delicious. We ordered the Maki Platter C and loved every bite. We came at the end of the day and the fish was still fresh. We came at 7:30pm, an hour before closing, and placed a big order. Not only did they take the order, they had it so quickly! The waitress was very kind and accommodating. She gave us extra time at the end of the night to finish and take some pieces home. I will definitely come back again!

I also left my phone in the restaurant 😅 but she came out in the cold to make sure it was back in my hands.

I wanted to have my food there as it was raining outside and eating by holding the food in my hand seem inconvenient so I had to leave and go to nearby Tim Hortons. Even just one small table would be nice for people who just wanna have a quick meal.“

One of the employees, Carmen, is extremely friendly and welcoming, and always has the best recommendations. “My family is a regular here. It's the best Japanese restaurant in Brampton, if not the GTA, in terms of freshness of the sushi, taste and affordability. I've been to more expensive restaurants that don't taste as good as here. You can always trust their quality. The Teriyaki dishes and Korean dishes are delicious as well. I often order Chicken Teriyaki. The food is not too salty or plain; it's just right. Once you like this place, you'll never get bored of it.“

“It was my first time coming here and I took advantage of the 'pick your roll' option with a Bento box. The quality of the rolls were great and filling. The teriyaki bento box was extremely flavorful and it came with the most tasty spicy salmon roll. It was a bonus that the workers were quick and friendly. A little small with only one washroom and parking was a little annoying because it was in a busy plaza but the food and service was 100% worth it. I would definitely come back here again.“

“We dined in for our first time for lunch. Our server was very helpful with the menu. There was lots of options. They always checked on our table to clear and see if we needed anything. We had the beef, chicken, shrimp, rice, noodles, vegetables, salad and ice cream for desert. Everything was very good. We will definitely go back and try some sushi next time.“

“Great time at Takumi. We got there just after 6pm on a Thursday and they were able to seat our family of 5. Not sure if it was because my daughter was dolled up for her bday or not, but they put our family in one of the rooms was made the dinner feel really special (VIP-type atmosphere). I appreciate how the grills are regularly changed to ensure optimal cooking, but I do wish the grills were slightly larger. For groups of three or more, it would be great to have the option to use additional grills, as one grill can feel too small for groups of 2 let alone of 3 or 4, especially when many dishes come in aluminum bowls that quickly take up space. Despite that, this is one of the best and highest-quality Korean BBQ experiences I’ve had, with many standout features that make it worth the visit.“

The food at Ono Poke Bar was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. However, the experience was mixed. I waited at the front for about 10 minutes before being greeted, but the staff member who eventually helped me was friendly and polite. The atmosphere wasn’t ideal as the space is quite small (you can only have the food to go), but the adorable stuffed animals scattered around added a nice, quirky touch. Overall, great food but some room for improvement in service and ambiance!“

“I always come to toro toro for special occasions and my birthday was no exception. For this birthday, my friends and I wanted to come here and redeem the birthday reward.

Unfortunately, you have to sign up prior which we did but it takes some time to show up in their system - Michael the manager came out and was so kind in tackling the situation. He called the owner and helped rectify the situation so I could get my birthday reward. Toro toro has my business forever! Thank you Michael and team (especially the girl in the kitten shirt!)“

“For a mall sushi its pretty good but for what its worth definitely an 8/10 and I like the “end of the day sale” which starts at 6pm part. Also rating service 5 because once my father used to work in the mall and one day I came to buy him a lunch and my dad mentioned to cashier and he gave us free water as goodwill. Anyways would definitely recommend this place.“
