“Donna and Tianna are absolutely amazing to work with! They make the most delicious cakes and cupcakes in the Ajax/Pickering area. Upon the opening of Stage 3 here in Durham, we had an event last weekend, and on short notice, they were able to pull off a beautiful 8” cake and 100 cupcakes (combined regular and mini). We cannot thank them enough for being so accommodating, friendly and welcoming whenever we interacted with them (in person and over the phone). The lightness of the buttercream, and moist cake itself was perfect. We received rave reviews from our guests, and highly recommend to give them a try. “Visited for the first time (Whitby location). Staff were incredibly nice and very helpful. I got a sugar cannoli and some of their custard tarts, as well a club sandwich and gingerbread latte to go. The sandwich was amazing -- freshly cooked bacon and chicken. Just delicious. The coffee was very good. We had the cannoli and tarts for dessert tonight and they were FABULOUS! We will definitely be back. Wonderful first experience!“

“I am soooooooooooo in love with the food here! I am a regular! So addicted to this place! I have tried sooo many delicious goodies here, never disappointed! My faves are the Advocodo grilled sandwiches, pear pastries and mixed berry custard tarts. ALWAYS fresh, always sooo happy when I go there and indulge myself! “I don’t leave reviews often, nor am I really a cake person but I just had to leave 5 stars! We ordered a custom cake for a friend’s 30th (who’s pregnant and had a very specific craving). We were able to order a lemon cake with raspberry filling and cream cheese icing just as the mama to be wanted. It was one of the best cakes we’ve ever had, not to mention how beautiful it looked. It wasn’t overly sweet and it was light and delicate but packed with flavour.

“I had been meaning to post a review to thank Susi for making my Father-in-law’s 91st birthday a special day. As a man of German descent he was over the moon to receive such a traditional Black Forest cake. We had a cake for 12 for 6 of us and each of the 3 men had double slices. I could not believe how little there was left over!!! Fantastic cake, service and person. Thanks, Susi!!!! You made an old man VERY happy. ❤️“

“Fantastic Sunday Brunch with my Mom and Partner. Steak and eggs perfection. Eggs Benedict with several opens, we had it with peameal and excellent! The BH potatoes (a signature side), were very nice. The best part was that Mimosas were also on the menu. First time customer who plans on making this a regular place for family and friends. Our server, David, and the other staff were top notch.

Wheelchair accessibility: This was the only challenge for us as my mom has mobility issues and the front door access had one large step up to get to the door. I did not ask if they had wheelchair access through another entrance though, so I can’t say for sure that this Bistro is not wheelchair accessible. It would be hard to get a wheelchair up the front step.“

“we always order the chicken from here, rice and potatoes and finally got to go in for lunch and try the hot table we had the fish in cream, aswell as pork and clams, and a famous Portuguese dish called Bacalu Bras (excuse the spelling) we loved it all!
we love the rissoles here too. Everything so far taste delish and quality amazing!

“Allwyn's Jerk in Oshawa has become my main go-to spot whenever I'm hungry and want food that is delicious, reliable and relatively affordable. They serve the best tasting jerk chicken I have ever had and I've quickly grown obsessed with their chicken sandwich. The staff is also very amicable, accommodating and welcoming. I highly recommend checking them out, especially if you're into jerk flavoured food. You won't regret it.“

My cake turned out amazing, not only was she able to create a cake identical to the reference photo I sent, but she somehow made it better?!?! I'm so used to other cake decorators leaving dents in the buttercream, but abi's attention to detail is crazyyy, the cake was smooth and sleek all around. The cake was elegant yeah but OMG the taste. “As a fan of the show for years, it was nice being there up close and personal. They did an awesome job with the design. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had concerns for parking initially as I knew it was on the main road but it was nice to see there was reserve parking at the back. Definitely over priced. My 13year old son tried the strawberry cheesecake. He said he had better. I had a hazelnut cupcake which I thought wasn’t bad. The cannolis wasn’t bad either but didn’t taste any better than the store bought ones (in my opinion). Lastly, we (my 11 year old and myself) tried their pizza. We were very disappointed. On another note, the mouse house was super cute!“
