“We had one of the best dinners we’ve ever eaten at this restaurant, and we are foodies so that is saying something. The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere and ambiance was intimate and classy. But let’s talk about the FOOD! Ugh! I splurged and tried the certified A5 Kobe, and it did not disappoint! It was incredibly buttery, tender, and perfectly cooked to temp, I couldn’t get enough. We’ve been to Japan and had A5 Kobe and Wagyu, and this was right up top with the cuts we had there. The sides were nothing short of phenomenal! We also had the sushi assortment with maki, nigiri and sashimi and it was mouth watering. I wish we lived right next door to this place, but I guess it’s better for my wallet that we don’t. If you’re considering eating here, DO IT!“

“We are here on a Tuesday evening for the 2 can Dine for $69.99. What a deal! My husband and I shared a large Caesar salad ( had to take some home), followed by a sirloin steak cooked to my liking on a stone. I was able to take my time slicing off sumptuous portions of the sirloin steak and let it cook on a hot stone to my liking. The vegetables that came with the steak were perfect and so was the baked potato. You could have French fries or mashed if you want. THEN!!! The dessert was either Lava Chocolate cake or cheesecake. Sooooo good and just enough! You can’t buy this kind of food at a grocery store for $35 a person! We will be back! Tuesdays at Lot 88 in Burlington. What a deal!!!!! “I went to Laylak for the first time over the weekend for a birthday celebration. From the moment I was seated, our waiter, Mo, was taking care of everything. The attention given by him was top notch. The restaurant is beautifully designed. The vibe was very mellow/cozy. We ordered the Ramadan chef special. The order started with a generous trio of dips, salad and appetizers. All of which were very fresh and tasty. The mains were kebabs of lamb, chicken and beef which were all perfectly seasoned. For dessert we had a pudding infused with rose water. I would definitely recommend this place.“

XIII Restaurant completely exceeded my expectations. Everything from the ambiance to the service and food was next level. The moment I walked in, I could tell this place takes pride in every detail.

A huge shoutout to Jaz, our waiter, who made the entire experience feel personal and effortless. Their energy, timing, and genuine care were top notch, the kind of service that makes you want to come back again and again.

And Chef Michael, what an artist! Every dish was perfection, beautifully presented, perfectly balanced, and full of bold flavor. You can tell there’s passion and creativity behind every plate that comes out of that kitchen.

“Had a 2 piece cod and chips meal with coleslaw.$18.95. Best fish and chips I have had in a while. Cod was crispy and not overly battered. Good size pieces as well. Too much for me but as the cod was thick it reheated in airfryer the next day beautifully. Now my favorite go to for fish and chips in Hamilton. I want to amend this to say there are new owners as of 2025 and they have changed the menus. This review was from previous owner.“

“As the biggest of karaoke enthusiasts, my partner and I checked out Dat Cang Karaoke on Concession, for our date night out. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves singing karaoke to our hearts content. The staff was lovely and courteous, quick to respond to needs, and curious about our feedback as they are newly open and licensed. They also let us know that this was the first Wednesday night open for karaoke so it was especially nice to sneak in unanticipated and the only singers in the club. We both were impressed with their host system, sound quality, and especially stage lighting - it felt welcoming to sing in a space built with obvious care. There's plenty of comfortable seating arranged in groupings that enable you to sing from your seat or take the stage if desired. We did both and enjoyed the comfort of feeling like singing at home but in a lovely and well-tended space. The karaoke system is far superior to most currently used in North America. having myself been a karaoke host and a world champion of karaoke competition, I feel confident in saying that this is a program that is far more accessible to worldwide karaoke options in multiple no languages. I was really impressed with its accessibility and performance and also impressed with the sound quality which was definitely above standard.
