“The Cherry House never disappoints. Michael and his team deliver impeccable service in an elegant yet comfortable setting—fine dining without the pretense. We started with a crisp Caesar salad (the only one I've ever had that I can say compete with my father's - even Dad agreed) and a beautifully balanced Caprese salad with the freshest basil, both savoury and well-executed. Even the bread and butter were exceptionally phenomenal—a simple yet telling detail of the kitchen’s commitment to quality. For mains, the halibut was perfectly tender, the rack of lamb with scallops rich and flavourful, and the filet mignon flawlessly cooked with a peppercorn sauce that was absolute perfection. Each dish showcased precision and top-quality ingredients, all complemented by a bold, complex 2013 Brunello Monticiano. A silky crème brûlée and expertly crafted Spanish coffees was the ultimate indulgence to finish this exceptional meal. “It was difficult to make a reservation (for a larger group). Left a voicemail and it was never returned. Had to call a few times to make a reservation.

Other than that, food, service and atmosphere are excellent. I wish the ragu pasta had more sauce. Pizza is Neapolitan style.

“Busy NY eve, called and ordered and got a call back that the driver was in the lobby. A bit early but ok. We got the wrong order. They immediately called and said our right order was on its way.

Showed up 10 minutes later and let us keep the wrong order too a they’d have to throw it out. We have a potluck tomorrow so it won’t go to waste.

Mistakes happen. So then customer service is about what happens to make sure you have a good experience after that, and they nailed it.“
