“Food use to taste 😋 great when he first opened. But lately 😕 it's not up to par. Cheeseburgers use to be great but not any more. The bun was totally soggy from the toppings.
Fries were good 👍 but I tossed my pricey burger in the garbage. The man who served was unpleasant. He looked at me with utter disdain for white non muslim woman of 70..never again will I go there
I was one of the first customers. Owner was not working that day..I will tell him of the lousy food and service“

“This really feels like one of the few authentic fish and chips spots in Toronto. The freshly fried fish was absolutely top-notch — super crispy and full of flavor. I ordered mine with a salad instead of fries, and personally, I found it much lighter and even more enjoyable that way. The crispiness was seriously next level!“

“Hidden gem for some AMAZING fish and chips run by a mom and pop duo at Peanut Plaza for ages. It’s our go to place when we are craving some really good old fashioned fish and chips :)
We got the daily special fish and chips combo. It’s $11 with tax (see picture). A steal to find and definitely worth it since it will put you into a good food coma afterwards.
The daily special fish and chips combo comes with a good sized haddock fish, lots of crispy chips, choice of coleslaw or gravy, and a pop. The haddock is awesome. It’s nicely battered to make it crispy on the outside while maintaining that nice flaky fish goodness on the inside. Also, the gravy is a must. It goes so good with the crispy chips.
Heads up, limited seating. It’s more of a take out fish and chips shop.“

“We were a Family of 5, with one senior in a wheel chair. Restaurant was accessible. We ordered the family meal. 10 pc of fish, massive plate of fries, big plate of coleslaw, gravy for the fries, and large plate of tarter. The food came out fast, hot, and absolutely delicious. Didn't have time to take more pictures, food was devoured fast. Thank you to this wonder family run Fish and chip place that hit the spot.“

“Best fish and chips in Vaughan and as authentic as you can get in London, UK. The portions are generous and well priced at $22.99 (via UberEats) for 12oz Haddock, small chips, coleslaw, lemon twist, and fresh tartar sauce. The Haddock batter was thin and crispy, and fish was moist and tender. The chips aren’t crispy or seasoned, but they’re not supposed to be as is the case in England. Although chips are usually more lightly cooked, I prefer browned chips for more colour and flavour. The fish has all the crisp you need and it pairs well with soft chips. The vinegar based coleslaw was thinly sliced and adds great freshness. I appreciate the fresh lemon included, and malted vinegar and ketchup packets on the side. The fresh tartar sauce was great. It’s not too tangy, and I prefer that so you can add as much or little lemon/vinegar to taste. My only small criticism is maybe add more seasoning (salt) to the fish and/or fish batter. The fish and chips were a bit oily, and although I’d prefer it less oily, I know that’s a challenge without losing the crisp texture - it didn’t bother me much. Maybe a slightly higher temp and shorter cook time? However, the oil was fresh and no bitter taste (that comes in old or unfiltered oil) - I greatly appreciate that. You have to level set expectations when it comes to oil - you’re getting fish and chips, and not a salad.Overall, it was delicious and I highly recommend to anyone looking for great fish and chips, and definitely best in Vaughan (after having tried many). I called the store to let them know on a job well done. I had to give due respect and appreciation. I wish I had taken pictures, but I was much too hungry. Bottom line, get the Haddock.
Vegetarian options: They also serve Middle Eastern food like falafel.“

“Maybe its just me but all fish and chips places are expensive these days huh...I got the fried cod for around $16 (including tax) but it was pretty big. Seasoning is great and it was fried to perfection. This is the only place I'll go to for fish and chips. If youre not sure what type of fish you want, they have 3 and will recommend based on what you like. Ex. If youre looking for something less fishy“

“Friendly vibe bar that’s good for families!
The food was overall good, definitely recommend the Cajun dry rub wings, it was really nice, fresh and crispy. I don’t really recommend the nachos though, we ordered chicken nachos and the portion was really small with very few pieces of chicken, for the price I don’t think it’s worth it. Also don’t recommend fish and chips even though it tasted good. The fish portion was way too small (you could finished it in 2 bites).
They also don’t have any mocktails options which I would expect a bar to have for those who don’t drink or can’t drink.
The service was good but a bit slow, only 2 servers (1 on the floor and 1 at the bar) at the time, but this could be because we came on a weekday, not sure about the weekend.“

“Enjoyed breakfast/brunch on a Sunday morning and boy was the restaurant busy that day! Good space with lots of tables. Lots of parking available.
Service was great. We were quickly shown to a table and provided a menu, followed by drinks of our choosing - ice water and fresh orange juice. Our order was taken promptly. Good number of staff buzzing around at all times.
Now the food!
I love a good eggs benedict so I ordered the Kotsy Benny. Most places give two eggs, but they give three made to your preference. The plate was full, with home fries (went with fried, will try grilled next time) and a salad. Overall the food came fresh and hot, tasted great and I really enjoyed their hollandaise. My wife enjoyed an eggs benedict with steak that looked just as good. We left quite full and happy!
Will look to go back and try some other dishes and specials.
Summary: Service was great, food tasted great, portions were worth it, and prices were very reasonable.“
