“Have loved everything about this place for years. The food, staff, drinks, variety. Loved. There is one issue I’ve noticed. My friend and I were there Wednesday March 18. Just a min or so before 8pm they started playing the song Closing Time by Semisonic and flicked one area of lights off and on. At 8:01pm they turned the lights off in some areas. There were still customers in the restaurant. Still playing the song. Two ladies had just sat down after being served drinks behind us and two men sitting near the entrance At 8:02 they turned all the lights off so it was so dark that I couldn’t see my friend across the table. We got the “hint” and left before 8:05. I’ve worked in several restaurants and this has never been permitted. Customers who have ordered before closing time are always permitted to stay and finish their meal. It’s not the first time they’ve played that song I’ve been there at 8 once before and they played it. My suggestion is not to use that song anymore, instead to approach customers and kindly remind them it is after closing time. No problem whatsoever I would’ve appreciated that and left.“

“We loved our savoury crepes - super sized for a whole meal.The crepes are thin, just like in Paris.We will be back for the dessert types (maybe Nutella with banana) after the show. It is nice to have a change from pizza for a meal before or after a movie at the Cineplex-just follow the sign from their parking lot.(Journey's Cafe entrance faces Hwy 400). You won't regret it ! Barrie finally has a Creperie - no need to go to Quebec for the real thing.“
