“The service was great. Than was a great server. He was friendly and made sure we had what we needed. The food was okay. I had the burrito bowl and it was delicious. However, I ordered the ribs and French fries for my toddler. The ribs were so tough and more like beef jerky. My toddler had a really hard time chewing it. My father also had the ribs and they were the same.“

Lovely bread pudding with creme anglaise and ice cream. It was a large serving, so be warned. Despite being busy our server was friendly and attentive and got us everything we needed when we needed it. Pints were great and very reasonably priced. Our food came in a timely fashion. My kiddos were a bit hangry after our morning activities and so they were being a bit of a handful, but I was welcomed with big smiles and coloring books at the ready! Our server was delightful, and totally understood the challenge of keeping two young kids occupied so we didn't bother other patrons. We ordered a chicken caesar wrap and an order of chicken fingers and fries. The food came impossibly fast (like I wonder if they bumped my order because I was on borrowed time with my littles), but I noticed that they're able to turn out most meals just as quickly. The fingers are those old school, white meat deliciousness and the fries are the best chip truck quality, with all the beautiful crunchy bits. The wrap was super fresh and a generous portion. They use high quality ingredients and never waiver from their exceptional service. My kids settled in and cleaned their plates, which says a lot! We were able to get on our way making excellent time, but I will definitely return be returning, perhaps with my husband or a friend to spend a little more time enjoying myself. “Overall enjoyed our meal however it was a little disappointing that we were trying to enjoy our alone time and the server was filling up other tables condiments like salt pepper and sugar which I understand doing so at table that people aren’t sitting at… she decided to interrupt us while we were eating to pass her over salt, pepper and sugar to fill up. It wasn’t overly busy and we had plenty enough that I don’t feel it was needed to be done while we were eating then she was reaching over us to put them back she also unfortunately forgot quite a few of our items and when we asked about them we were told they didn’t come with that item (toast) but the menu stated it did she seamed a bit annoyed after this but was trying to be as friendly as possible. Food was hot and good hash browns a tad undercooked but we would come back and try it again“

“I came to this location today after having a very bad experience earlier at the Oshawa (Taunton rd & Harmony) location and what a difference. The moment we walked in we were greeted and seated and everything was great! Our server was Rebecca was awesome! She was friendly and served us well checked in a few times to make sure everything was good. The food was so good hot tasty and came out fast. We ate our entrees and had dessert in less than an hour. Awesome experience from the moment we entered to when we left. *note I shared our earlier experience with Rebecca just before we left. So the staff here is clearly genuine and professional. “Just placed an order at bistro238 of my favourites from this past Saturday brunch! This place truly is a hidden gem in Courtice! It was our first time for brunch and everything was delicious! Their quiche, their scones, their croissants, and this olive lemon cake - you know there’s a true pastry chef in the building when! The atmosphere is so cozy and they are beyond welcoming and nice. Chef Simon made the table since we were a walk in. He looks exactly like his picture btw. Highly recommend a reservation on weekends they get very busy. Everything was fresh tasting. Simple ingredients and the best quality. I can’t wait to try their dinner menu! I’m a foodie and so happy that my trips to Toronto for a good quiche and croissant fix are over.
