The atmosphere was peaceful which is nice during the holiday hustle and bustle. The food was authentic and very delicious. 5 stars across the board!“

“Have come here a few times and the food is always good. Today we went out together as a family and one of the meals was not cooked the way we liked. We told our server, Clara who was very helpful and she offered to remake it or get us something else.

We finished the dish except for the part we didn’t like but when the bill came Clara had removed it. Which we didn’t even ask for. It was a very nice gesture to keep customers happy.

The food overall was enjoyable especially the chicken tenders. We will go back.

“I had the big breakfast and it was SO good!!!! And really affordable. I feel really bad because I left a bad review last time because it was cold which wasn’t the fault of the restaurant. They asked to rate it and I did. The taste was good even though it was cold likely due to the courier. I ordered again and was so glad I did. This time everything was steaming hot and was really delicious. I will definitely order from here again. Exactly what I was craving!“

Organizing a group of this size can be a challenge, but Sarah handled it with humour, professionalism, warmth, and efficiency. The food was outstanding—every dish was flavorful, and served in generous portions that left everyone more than satisfied. Whether it was appetizers, mains, or desserts, the quality and taste were consistently excellent across the board. What truly stood out was the service. Despite the size of our group, Sarah was attentive, friendly, and incredibly organized. “Had a decent experience here tonight. Our waiter was really nice (Indian guy) genuinely one of the best waiters ever. If management sees this, you should consider giving him a promotion. Although, they were pretty busy on a Friday night, so someone else brought out our food. He was absolutely terrible, gave me a burning hot plate and instead of putting it on the table, put it in my hands and did not warn me it was hot, I ended up burning my hands. Then his attitude when we asked him he could bring some extra tissues and vinegar (for the fries) and his response baffled me, he said we have salt at the table and ignored the request for tissues)🤦‍♂️. Fortunately, our original waiter came back and carried out the request and apologized on behalf of his colleague after we notified him.

To be fair, he (the terrible waiter) needed to wear glasses, (I’m assuming for his poor vision), but the glasses should help him see that there is no vinegar/tissues at our table and that we are paying customers at a nice restaurant we dine at every other week, so he should carry out our simple request.

Pickle barrel is a fine restaurant, and I’ve never had someone in my dining experience refuse to bring out vinegar or tissues. And on top of that, give us attitude, role his eyes at us, as if we just asked for something crazy.

The manager was very nice, our main waiter was very nice, just consider firing or re-training your other staff (glasses guy). Genuinely baffled how people like him are able to work at a fine restaurant like Pickle Barrel.

Also, this Pickering location is 1 million times better than there location at Yonge and Eg.“

“We went to KAJUN Chicken and seafood Missisuaga on invitation of Shehla Jafri and Ahmed Jafri. Very nice atmosphere and spacious. Owners are super friendly and welcoming. They welcome all guests with big smile. We try thier boneless chicken tenders. Spicy KAJUN Chicken ,fries,buns and sauce. Perfectly cooked with excellent flavour. My son wants me order again next day. When I told him it’s very faraway from Richmond Hill,then he said can we go again over the weekend. 😊. My son request to open next branch in Richmond Hill. Best part is they have everything hand slaughtered. Highly recommended.“

“First time back since prior to the pandemic, was a bit disappointed tho. Ordered the caesar salad to start, loved the mixed greens and that it was lightly dressed, unfortunately the dressing was very peppery which made it a bit too spicy. For the mains, the green pea and Lemon risotto was perfect and creamy, the add on salmon was just on the edge of being overdone. The B67 burger was tasty and juicy, great fries but the sambal ketchup was too strong and overpowered the other flavours of the dish. Currently they only had one cocktail available which was a bit disappointing, as in the past they had some fantastic ones. Atmosphere was great and staff is always pleasant.“

“We had a great experience at Milestones Grill + Bar, made even better by our server, Jessica. From the moment we were seated, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She checked in at just the right times without being intrusive, and her recommendations were spot on.

We were celebrating my partner's retirement, and Jessica really helped make the occasion feel special. For food, we ordered the Spicy Chili Chicken, Blackened Chicken Fettucine, and Spicy Shrimp Noodles. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared—the Spicy Chili Chicken had the perfect kick, the Fettuccine Chicken was rich and comforting, and the Spicy Shrimp Noodles were packed with bold flavors.

“We really enjoyed the food at Jack's. The tofu in my salad was actually tasty. Teresa our server was great at helping me find a hot sauce and selling it. It was a bit pricey for hot sauce but when in rome! I really appreciate their service and the good quality is great.“
