“Amazing dining experience! Two people, lunch buffet. Upper James, Hamilton, ON. CAD $26, plus a senior's discount of 20%. Great value. Wonderful selections of appetizers, entrees, and desserts, including sushi and sashimi. Great taste. Great service. Hot hand towels before and after the meal is a nice touch. Clean washrooms. Can't beat the Mandarin restaurant for an overall great dining experience.“

“We visited this restaurant for dim sum and had a great experience. The food and the tea were amazing and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be visiting again soon!
One word of caution, the hot water in the bathroom is extremely hot so be careful 🙂“

“I LOVE SZECHUAN NOODLE BOWL <33 I recommend it to all my friends and have been there like once a month the last 2 or 3 months. was there today and like a couple days ago! the braised beef and pork are both delicious and the service is always so kind. a routine favorite hamilton spot of mine since moving here and I'd recommend it to all :))“

“Ordered 3 egg rolls, chicken fried rice, S&S chicken balls, dry garlic ribs and szechuan pork lo mein for 3 people. Was enough to feed 6. Everything was hot and fresh and ready for pickup at the stated time. Got a free chicken fried rice because I paid cash. Best in the city that I know of. I need a nap!“

“Ordered through Uber for the first time and the driver informed me he worked for panda and would be better and cheaper to order through the site instead. Definitely will do that, super helpful (and cheaper)

Food arrived piping hot and delicious.
Pleasantly surprised after the reviews.
Chicken for the spicy chicken was proper white meat with limited batter.
The sweet and sour pork was lean pork pieces and limited batter
Fried rice was proper. Good shrimp and egg, good texture, not sticky, not dry, wok fried properly…hard to find.

“Service & atmosphere I can’t speak on because I got takeout & the interior of the restaurant isn’t for dining in, but food was made on time for my pick up.
As for the food, overall pretty good.
General & Orange good portions & flavour with a bit of kick on the general
Breaded id really recommend a sauce like the sweet and sour with it
Mixed Lacked variety of good vegetables had a lot of onion but seasoned well
really good in taste & portion. Pro Tip ask for a side of gravy and put it on top of your noodles
Nothing that will blow your socks off but just a really solid Chinese spot that will satisfy your craving & deliver on its fair price point.“

“We expected a party of approx 20 people on Jan 24/26 but due to the weather we had 3 people that flew out early from Pearson to Logan Airport and around 4 went home immediaely after the 'due' because they were from out of town. That left 13 of us. Since we had reserved, we still had a round table for 13 in the back of the restaurant. We decided to go with a family style format and actually ordered way too much food. The portions were large and tasty, from the egg rolls + spring rolls to a variety of dishes that satisfied everyone. We were extremely well looked after despite the restaurant getting busier. We were happy to see other parties in and out as January is very slow in the restaurant business. I dealt with someone on 3 occasions before we arrived and he assured me he woud make our dinner worth while. And he did. We ended up with one extra at the table designated for a comfortable 12 and that was okay. We also had our beloved SIL in a wheelchair to boot. We thought that would not be possible when we were expecting 20. Needles to say, we were not rushed, our food was excellent, we had good conversation around a round table and to add,.....it was a great experience. If ANYTHING, the room we were in could actual benefit from adding material or whatever on the walls, ceiling in order to cut way back on the noise. The table for 12 was far better than having 13 seated in a long table but noise barriers would help 100%. Thank you DRAGON COURT for an excellent experience You were recommeded by one of the folks who was at our table and did not disappoint.“

“Got takeout from South China because I was craving some legit Chinese dishes. I ordered the stir fried beef with flat rice noodles and fried fish with creamy corn sauce and rice. Absolutely delicious and will now be my go to when I’m craving those comfort dishes!“

“Delicious!!! Authentic noodles and dumplings. Pan fried pork dumplings were the best thing ordered. Noodle soups were piping hot: we preferred the thin noodles in the wonton soup compared to the beef soup. The noodles were the best part of the soups - intense flavour in the noodles themselves. Prices are more than fair.“

“I had a party. Needed a large order. I called it in the day before. Food was ready on time, hot and fresh. Everyone at the party thoroughly enjoyed the food. Ate the leftovers the next day. For me the marinate the beef properly. It's not tough and chewy, it's thin and soft. Their batter on the chicken is also delicious. And the spice green beans are ... Spicy. Great price and good portions.“

“We had the Saozi Beef noodles, the Beijing dumplings and Braised Chicken on Rice. The food was really flavourful and delicious with a homemade quality. The beef noodles dish is on the spicier side so if you have a low spice tolerance order with caution. The atmosphere accompanied the homemade quality of food with a home like environment. Our server was very kind, water is self serve which worked really well for us. The tip is included in your meal cost but very well deserved.“

“My wife and I were regular customers of their restaurant from the late 1980's to the early 2000's. We have always enjoyed their food . We occasionally get takeout from them and still enjoy their great food . They still have a great menu and great specials.“

“I go back to this old restaurant every year for gatherings with friends. Memories from when I first came to Canada~ There is no need for a menu when ordering food. Recommended cold dishes: tiger dish and intractable diseases; vegetarian dishes: stir-fried cabbage noodles and meat dishes: chicken pot and grilled skewers. good“

“Ok let me start by saying my family had gone to one and only one Chinese food establishment for the last 25yrs. They sadly closed this year so we had to search for a new place and I can officially say we have found our new FAVORITE spot!!!
The service (I ordered pickup) was very professional and pleasant.
When I arrived to pick up food, had a nice conversation while I waited and it was just an overall great first experience.

“My experience was great. We haven’t been there for a while, and it was one of our best food orders from there. Nice Cantonese dishes. Efficient fast and well prepared. And a pleasant lady host who answered the phone took our order four combination plate orders (x2#3 )(1x#4 )and (1x#5) Friday April 4 2026 later in the evening. “I like the food; but when I want something after work .. its closed. Really wish they'd stay open later on weekends like 1am; 10:30pm is quite early to close on a friday and Saturday night.
Please consider extending hours for weekends.“
