“Absolutely one of the best ice cream places I’ve ever tried! Everything is locally made, and the owner makes the ice cream himself. The flavours are incredibly rich, fresh, and so unique compared to regular ice cream shops.

My absolute favourite is the Biscoff and Golden Oreo. SO good!! 🤤 But they have tons of different and creative flavours, so there’s always something new to try.

The owners are also amazing and kind -
super friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they make. You can tell a lot of care goes into every flavour.

“I have been ordering from Oink Oink consistently for a while now. They have helped me get through late night exam prep with the best Nutella and banana crêpes in town. I placed my first order requesting for less Nutella and, since then, all my orders have been with less Nutella without me having to specifically request it. “Wandered into Barbary Ape on Friday evening after a long week of flights and it was exactly the kind of spot that surprises you. The taxidermy and old world decor covering every wall gave it this eccentric, almost speakeasy vibe that made me put my phone away for a while. Staff at the bar knew the history of half the pieces on display and happily pointed out their favorites when asked. Small detail but the low lighting and worn leather seating around 7pm made it feel more like a private club than a tourist stop, easily worth the detour.“

It was our very first time trying bingsu, and we were a little worried that the shaved ice would be bland or just taste like snow. We were pleasantly surprised! The flavor, sweetness, and texture were perfectly balanced, and we enjoyed every bite until the very end.

If it’s your first time trying bingsu, I’d describe it as a super light, fluffy ice cream with a unique melt-in-your-mouth texture. If you enjoy cold desserts, there’s a good chance you’ll love it too.

“Easily the best snowflake shaved ice in Toronto. The texture is incredibly soft, light and creamy, and it melts beautifully without becoming watery. Both the mango and strawberry flavours were excellent — fresh, generous with the toppings. The ice cream on top makes it even better, and the whole dessert feels really well balanced.

You can tell they care about the quality and presentation. It is refreshing, satisfying, and honestly one of the best desserts I have had in the city. I would absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for proper Asian shaved ice in Toronto. Five stars without hesitation.“

I like that they're super generous with the sauces/flavouring so that if you want to eat them in more than one bite, you can dip it back in for more flavour.

Remind me a lot of the puffs that became very popular in recent years, but with more of a crispy exterior which gives it a nice crunch. I'd definitely eat these again!“

They have their customers' best interest at heart and strive to satisfy them. Their treats are amazing in taste along with presentation.They sponsored my kids school Fun Fair back in June (See pics) and also catered the grade 8 graduation with their yummy treats, free of charge as a way to give back to their community. I am excited to see what new items they will come up with next at their new restaurant. Their food, especially the coleslaw and Jerk Chicken is so tasty.“

First of all: Been here twice and don't know why some reviewers gave 1 star for rude behavior, the workers are so lovely, helpful and very accommodating. The owner made my oreo cheesecake bingsu and it was delicious

Second: Very cute and comfortable area with various types of seating.

Finally: I had oreo cheesecake bingsu and the toppings wrre delicious (cheesecake bites, crumbs and oreo pieces) alsp I added extra toppings: condensed milk (+$1) and extra layer of oreo crumbs (+$1). I asked if they can add the condensed milk into the frozen shavings amd it turned out to be amazing, even better than the oreo bingsu from snowday bingsu imo.

Highly recommend: Oreo Cheesecake and ask to add condensed milk with ice shavings.“
