“Ordered a two-item (chicken wings & beef broccoli), combo platter that includes fried rice & egg roll ($14.50) plus Cantonese Chow Mein (14.95). Both portions were decent and flavorful - shrimp was a good size & plumb. I felt the beef was not a high quality cut and a little tough. The veggies were fresh but they could have been chopped and diced to smaller pieces. Overall, acceptable quality for a takeout place that serves the neighborhood of East York.“

I ordered kimchi stew with pork and it was good (needed a little more salt to my taste though) and the stir-fried noodles with rice cake, fish cake and bulgogi beef was my favorite (but I wish I ordered the spicy version!)

“Yesterday we had one of the best meal in this city in a long time in the city at this restaurant. We were hungry after a great candlelight concert at the nearby Metropolitan Church venue and we decided to try this place. Blown away by the food. You know the food is good when you see it. We decided to start with a Vietnamese pancake. Before even trying the food I was immediately impressed by the look and we knew the food was made by an extremely talented chef. The way the carrots were cut into beautiful threads. After trying the pancake I was seeing stars in my head. The main course that followed did not disappoint either with a grilled and smoked pork chop with a chicken breast and a delicious Chicken pho. Wow. Will come back again for sure. Not to be missed if you're in the area.“

“I recently visited Wuhan Noodles 1950 and had a great dining experience. The Hot Dry Noodles (Re Gan Mian) may not taste exactly the same as the authentic version in Wuhan, but they are still very flavorful, rich, and satisfying. The portion size is generous, making it a filling meal.

I also tried the Beef and Radish Rice Noodles, which came with a large amount of tender beef and a hearty serving of noodles. The broth was rich and comforting, and the overall portion was excellent value for money.

One of the highlights was their chili oil. It was incredibly fragrant, packed with flavor, and blended perfectly with the noodles. It added just the right amount of heat and depth to the dishes.

My family and I were coming from The United States of America and we came to this restaurant with our family members that lived in Canada and as soon as we went in, the interior was so clean and luxurious. Even the bathrooms looked so clean. I was also very impressed by the glowing lights on the serving cart and the table lamps and you can make them light or dim which was very cool. The drinks were refreshing, the Paneer appetizers were delicious, and the main was absolutely mind blowing. It was like you got your food served on a golden dish. The Paneer Butter Masala was nice, the Kaju curry was flavorful, and the hospitality was amazing! We were welcomed with a happy greeting and big smiles as we walked in by the staff and chef. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. The place itself was very clean and organized. There was AC so it was nice and cool. You can also dine in or take out. They had many options in the menu from patties, jerk chicken poutine, oxtail, pasta, goat curry and many more delicious dishes. The price was reasonable in my opinion, they offered small, medium, and large for sizing. We ordered the jerk chicken poutine and the oxtail with rice and beans and coleslaw. They’re very generous with the meat and it was all so tasty! My boyfriend and I loved it. I highly recommend this place!! So glad we found our new go to close by. “I'm a regular at yang's. Ever since it was on Woodbine I've been a huge fan of their hand-pulled noodles and boneless chicken. The service is unbelievable Sherry and Chloe always remember me when I come in and even before I get there and place my order they know exactly who they are serving. “Four stars for Four Four lol...stopped in for a quick lunch during the work day. The braised beef noodle was decent, but not anything to write home about in my opinion. It is decent value ($16.99 downtown isn't bad), though I do think it would be nice if the portion size was just a bit larger.

What actually stood out to me was the stir fried beef with wild pepper that my friend ordered. It is a bit pricier at $21.99 but it came with a LOT of meat, with a nice velvety texture and a ton of flavour. That being said it is on the spicier side that slow burns so be careful if you can't handle spice. If I were to come back I think I would get this (but maybe ask them if they can tone down the spice a bit).

Service is pretty lacking here. There's pretty much one woman who seems to be doing most of the serving. She is nice though - you'll just have to flag her down to get her attention if you need something. Note there is an auto gratuity of 18% if you're a group of five or more, so I would maybe stick to coming with a group of four or less 😂.

The noodle bowls are packed with large portion of heathy and tasty vegetables and meat (for the ones with meat). I always save some of the bone soups and drink it by itself (without putting it into the noodle bowl), sooooo tasty by itself also, not like other bone broth I’ve tried from other places which all taste very blend. “Really enjoyed our meal at Souk Tabule! We ordered the Shish Tawuk, Trilogy Sampler, Beiruti Falafel Wrap, Honey Cardamon Latte, and Honey Ginger Cinnamon Tea Latte. Everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavour. The portions look a little small in the pictures, but they’re actually very filling. Everything we tried was great, and would recommend this restaurant.
