“I went for the blackforest long johns - and left with 2 long johns, a Nanaimo bar and a chicken pot pie! Everything was above par. - the Nanaimo bar was a very reasonable size for the price. The filling was not too sweet and the coconut was chunky and delicious - the pot pie was loaded with vegetables and chicken (including corn and celery). It was seasoned and perfectly peppery - the blackforest long johns are EXACTLY as good as they sound!“

“I love their bread, they bake it in house and it's delicious! Their coffee is incredible as well. The atmosphere is nice, it's very open. But it's not my favorite, just because it's not cozy. That's just my personal preference, though. There's no nook or comfy chair/couch to get cozy. They do have a fun little kids' corner, though, which is a brilliant idea. There's a little table and chairs and some shelves with toys and coloring.“

I wanted to stop and get their business hours and found the mom & daughter packing up to go home. Asking if I wanted something, the daughter graciously opened the front door for me to quickly grab 3 items, pay, and leave. It was truly heartwarming and so very appreciated! “Mind Blowing Pies! I picked up an apple crumble and a pecan pie for my Thanksgiving dinner which was last night. My guests were blown away at how amazing these pies were! The pecan pie is the mostly heavenly thing I've ever eaten. Even my grandma raved about it all night! Great job Tays Treats!! “Tried Caffe Gatti for the first time after driving by multiple times and always wanting to venture in! There are tons of sweet treats and pastries to choose from, all very fresh and tastey. Ordered some pizza and eggs & hashbrowns(didn’t get a picture as we ate it too quick!!), enjoyed very much the kind and prompt service. Will have to venture back next time in the area! “I picked up a Black Forest torte from here today for my daughter’s birthday. It was the most incredible cake I’ve ever had!!! From the light mousse filing to the cookie bottom .. I honestly haven’t had any cake like this before! It will now be our go to bakery for all our birthday occasions and I’d highly recommend it! I gave her a theme and a few ideas and she used her extreme talent and creativity and gave me the most amazing desert table you could imagine. As it was my first time in I was offered a butter tart and a blueberry lemon bar to sample while I waited for my order to be prepared. Absolutely wonderful!I found the pastry as good as my own. Definitely made with lard, such delicate flakiness just can not be achieved with shortening or oil.The tray was a major hit of the evening.I definitely recommend you try them out for yourself.
