“Food and drinks are amazing, especially the drinks. Service is also great, they seem to like the service they provide (and they should cuz going here is a real treat) we wish coming here could be a regular outing for us (sadly can't given the economy). I wish the place was a little cozier feeling, it's feels more like a cafe than a place to relax with boardgames, but ultimately it's very functional and if you don't mind typical Starbucks style seating for playing boardgames then I suppose it's perfect, I just prefer a more homey feeling. Prices a touch high but it's certainly not bad and the best quality cafe drinks then I've ever had so once in a while it's worth it. I'd highly recommend it!My only real gripe was the flatbread we ordered was barely enough to feed a small single adult and it was $9.75 which seems like a lot to me. If you're coming here for more then a small snack and games it will hit the wallet hard.“

“Wonderful food, fantastic interior, and great location--on Northfield, between Bridge and University. Also a community-minded business. A must-visit establishment. Dog-friendly for well-behaved dogs on leashes. (I'm not a dog person, and I didn't feel nervous for a second.)“

“This is such a cute little hidden gem outside of Waterloo. We spontaneously decided to stop by for a weekend cafe brunch. We shared "The Egger" and a croissant and each got a warm drink. The sandwich was so good, and I typically avoid eggs! The scone was huge and they brought it out warm. It was a little too sweet and cakey for my taste though. The cafe drinks were just okay. I love that you can play little card games while you wait for your food. It's also fun to peruse the board games/gift shop.“

“TL;DR: Sink your teeth into tasty delights and soak in the cozy vibes at The Shed: A Café by LenJo Bakes - it's a treat worth savoring with a recipe for happiness!---I recently visited The Shed: A Café by LenJo Bakes and had a sweet experience! The shop is bright and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to enjoy some delicious treats. I tried a brownie, macaron, and mini cheesecake, and I was blown away by how good they were; I almost couldn't believe they were gluten-free!The brownie was light and moist, the macaron was fresh and delightful, and the mini cheesecake was expertly crafted with perfectly married flavours. Each bite was a testament to the quality and care put into their creations, like a batch made in heaven.Additionally, there's a spot downstairs to hang out. With its chill ambiance, low lighting, and comfy sofas - a charming contrast to the top shop - it’s an ideal place to relax. I found myself wishing I had a book to cozy up with while treating my tastebuds.LenJo takes the cake when it comes to providing a cozy atmosphere and delicious options. I highly recommend frequenting The Shed; it's a gem that offers both incredible food and a great atmosphere. I can’t wait to return and try their lunch offerings next time!“

“Love this bakery!!! I go every couple weeks for the German buns, pretzels and of course the cake!!! It all reminds me of my Oma and my Aunts baking!!!!“
“The cafe has a good variety of food and drink, and a couple vegetarian options as well. I got a spicy veg sandwich, which was really good, but I think I'll try something else next time. Interesting sandwich cut.It was around $6 after the 25% student discount, and they take Laurier OneCard convenience dollars but not flex dollars, disappointingly. The interior is very nicely decorated and they have a good amount of seating. The staff were very nice.“
“My favourite place for coffee right now! The staff are extremely friendly and always make the effort to ask how your day is and get to know you if you regularly go. They have the best caramel latte I have ever had, and their food selection is awesome too. The food menu generally changes daily with some staples. I come here every weekday for a latte and to study. There is plenty of light in the seating area, the only thing I wish they had was more outlets.“
