Fast Food Restaurants near Fonthill

“First off, I want to say I have no problem with both the food and the service. My question is to the rapid increase in pricing.

This is for the Fonthill McDonalds on HWY 20. Noticed a significant increase in pricing of a breakfast meal over the past month spoke to the manager and advised that the pricing was a promotion that is now over and the Owner's determine the pricing. With so much pressure on inflation and obviously the large spike in pricing since COVID in many products, was hoping to understand this one. I am not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but I will share. May 17th, 2024 - Purchased a #3 Breakfast - Bacon Egg McMuffin Price $5.99 Before Tax and extra Hashbrown was $0.70. June 20th, 2024 - Same order Price was now $6.09 Before Tax and extra Hashbrown was $1.00. (Small Increase). today June 29th, 2024 - Same order Price now $7.49 Before Tax and extra Hashbrown was $1.00. Now I understand that business need to make a profit and even though these increases are very small on a single consumer, this is a 25% increase on the Breakfast Meal and a 47% increase on the Hashbrown. With our Bank of Canada trying to do everything in their power to bring down inflation, do you not feel that it should be everyone making a constructive effort to do so? I am not trying to pinpoint one business, but generalize. It just happens that I use this McDonalds to purchase for convenience to to also support locally. I am sure I am not the ONLY one that has noticed.“

“This is more a review of their newest menu item. Was loving the idea of trying Wendy’s new pineapple Frosty, thinking it might be similar to the Dole Whip you can get at Disney. (It’s not anything close.) It’s their vanilla Frosty with pineapple syrup on the bottom of the cup, and then some on top. Not bad, if you can manage to pry the very secure plastic lid off in order to get your spoon in. Took Herculean effort to open but eventually managed, which means these cups are great for take out drinks as the lids won’t fly off. Be sure to mix it, as halfway through it was just vanilla Frosty. As a pineapple lover, I’d order it again (but without a lid). The restaurant itself was fine. Tiny, clean, and staff were pleasant enough. Recommend you use the Wendy’s app to get offers and earn rewards.“

“We love beavertails. It was our first trip to Canada and we got one almost everyday we were there. It’s pretty large so you could eat it yourself or split it with someone. There’s several options and they are all delicious. Can’t wait to go back again!“

“I heard they brought the Great Canadian back and while I initially thought $6 for a sandwich seemed a bit high, they stuffed it with meat which made me happy, the price was appropriate. Will definitely be back! Kind and prompt service as well.“

I recently visited A&W at 806 Niagara Street with my friends, and we had a fantastic dining experience! We tried the Beyond Burger combo, and it was delicious—packed with flavor and a great plant-based option. The fries were crispy, and the root beer, as always, was refreshing. The staff were friendly and the service was quick, even though it was a busy time. Overall, it was a great spot to grab a meal with friends. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!“

“Myself and my spouse went to Lake Street subs today for the first time after doing a final walk through of the house we are moving into next week. They are so kind! We split a BLT sub and we each got a strawberry shake..everything was phenomenal! We will def be regulars moving forward!“

“A&W has never let me down, it is the only fast food that I will go to, the breakfast is cooked to your specifications and brought to your table and the coffee is perfect. My favourite teen burger and in fact all the burgers are delicious.of course the root beer is so good I keep some cans in my fridge.“

“I hope anybody reading this will understand how we should go about using Google you see I went in to this location for my very first time spent some money got home with excitement to realize the main item was missing out of the bag so rather run to Google and get them a one star I called location conversation with staff they instantly took responsibility and delivered it right to my home address I haven't even chomped into it yet I'm making this review I'm also a franchise owner not going to say which one cuz it's irrelevant but I understand customer service and these guys just showed me tonight that they're on the same page as I am I will bend over backwards for my customers and my self have delivered to home addresses for missing items so again here I am giving these guys a five star because they're a stand-up bunch of good people.... “It's a McDonald's, inside a Walmart. It's not a mystery. You know what you're getting with both brands.We had breakfast, it was edible, it was cheapish, what else do you expect? My only recommendation is to avoid the pineapple. Super "chemical" aftertaste which I DID expect, ordering fruit from McDonald's is always going to be tragic.The store was clean, staff was pleasant... But really... It's a McWalmart, if you want fine dining, this is not your place.But if you want something quick to shove down your gullet before you spend your hard earned dollars grabbing groceries. Parking: Can get very busy here around dinner time and the staff find it difficult to keep up with all the delivery orders. Take out orders and dining in. Plus the drive-thru! Particularly busy when there's coupons on!“

“I loved this burger joint so much after purchasing 2 combos, one for my wife and one for myself. I went back and bought an Angus burger. The girls were very kind here. This visit was very good for me. I was very hungry. As a matter of fact, I was starving. I had not ate for 2 days.
