“Double Rainbow Café is a warm, welcoming space. The drinks and food are delicious—with great options for plant-based and allergen-aware diets—and the atmosphere is affirming for all, especially 2SLGBTQIA+ folks and allies. A cozy, kind-hearted gem that radiates joy and belonging. Highly recommend! 🌈“

“Kanoo is the most beautiful coffee shop in Guelph. It’s the perfect place to sit and enjoy a calm, beautiful, wi-fi free space. The drinks and food and spot on. The porchetta sandwich is superb. And, the staff is totally lovely.
Highly recommend.“

“We were served right away. The space is very open and bright with a good amount of seating. I really liked all the vintage looking decor too, made it seem like a lot of thought was put into the space. The flat white I ordered was also delicious!“

“The 'new' Planet Bean on Wyndham is pretty darn good! Coffee is excellent - a truly authentic Cortado and even the decaff is excellent. Food wise I've tried the breakfast sandwich twice as it was so good - tons better than anywhere else I've tried in Guelph. It even beats Evergreen senior centre (yes you read right) who do a yummy breakfast sarnie as well. Service wise it's good and friendly and the coffee comes quickly but you do have to wait for freshly cooked food - not a bad thing eh! Oh and the venue is a great improvement on the previous over-spaciousness. Still have the mini library shelf though.
Keep it going PB. Definitely one of the best in Guelph.“

“So glad to see this place survived the pandemic 💖
I'm finally getting back to the spots downtown and I was delighted to be able to get a beef shawarma here again. It was as good as I remember it.
I was there with a friend and the music was a little too loud for us to stay as long as we wanted. Otherwise, everything was great 😊“

“This is a nice place for an after-dinner meal, or perhaps a date. I ordered the Hit D Spot, which is a plate of Belgian waffles topped with ice cream and brownies. It was very good, but pretty filling so I had to share it with my brother. It took some time to make, though that was understandable given the size of the order, which was pretty big. I would suggest bringing someone to share your food with if you want to order one of the bigger desserts.“

“I have had a lot of coffee from all over, the Guildsmen Cafe is one of the best. Very few places make a truly hand-crafted coffee. We have moved away and their coffee is one of the things we miss most. Highly recommend!!“

“With the Grain is my Saturday morning ritual. The coffee and baked goods are amazing. I stock up for the week with an oatmeal sandwich loaf (awesome for our Saturday lunch grilled cheese sandwiches), baguettes (they make for fantastic French toasts), croissant bread (which my daughter devours in her school lunches) and often something sweet as a treat - the brownies, bee sting squares and cinnamon rolls are always a hit! The staff is super friendly and I appreciate the loyalty cards for coffee and bread. The bakery itself is small but so quaint being in an old historical house. If you haven’t tried With the Grain, you’re missing out on a Guelph experience.“

“I came in today for my birthday latte and was welcomed by a very dynamic young lady named Daisee. Her personality and great big smile totally made my day and my experience. She definitely loves her job and loves interacting with people!! The Latte was fantastic. Thanks“
“This starbucks is inside the metro but trust me the barista CASSIDY was amazing and made my drink so perfect the way i wanted, if you ever experience other Starbucks are out of stock the stuff you looking for, definitely try this one you will never regret, plus Cassidy will make your drink so perfect.“
“I was here Sunday the 14th mid day and it was super busy with a massive drive thru line all the way to the mall and the team handled it AMAZINGLY! I don’t think I’ve seen people move so quickly but still have a smile on their face. The team here always has impeccable customer service even when they get slammed with a mid day rush. Favourite location by far ❤️“
“First time here , i came to the ICAS offices and i really wanted to get a hot drink and google showed me this tim hortons. I was looking around but can’t actually see no locations, so this is located inside the ontario building so close i was soo happy because i had an appointment and i didn’t want to take me so long waiting. , anyway you pass through the spind doors and turn left you will pass the conferences room and and the end of the hall is a cafeteria so easy and self service which is great , i was in a hurry.
They have a big area for the sandwiches, salads, bakery this was around 11 am so it was only 2 girls at the front so you have to wait less than five minutes to pay . So is not a big issue.
I enjoyed my drink and happy to find this just a few steps from where i have my appointment.“
“David is like my best friend at this establishment. I agree with those who say he needs a raise(if it’s the same David). Outside of him, every worker at this Starbucks does their best. I can’t fault anybody for Starbucks greed as they are just cogs in the machine.
Overall, The Starbucks has great tasting grilled cheese (even if it’s a little stale at times), double doubles, and chai lattes. If you can get past the overpay for Starbucks, there is no better location than the one in McLaughlin Library.“
“I stopped going to Williams cafe about 7 years ago because the food is extremely disappointing. Since then they have renovated and I believe switched owners so I went back today for convenience and turned out to that was a mistake. I got the chicken pesto panini which was first of all tiny then came with bagged chicken and some very horrible Coleslaw&pickle. Cost me $22 dollars for a coffee, cookie and a small sandwich. zero effort was put into the delivery of the food as everything they serve comes out of a bag. I could have gone to an actual nice restaurant and paid the same to get a better meal. I stopped here because I was at staples and went against my better judgement. I'm sorry for thinking that they improved their menu and food prep.“

“Absolutely amazing coffee and now they have a Biscoff cookie and I’m telling you it’s delicious! The only reason I’m not gate keeping this one is I would literally buy all they have and eat them myself. Which would equal 20lbs 😬. Run to get one and a coffee!“
