“Kanoo is such a welcoming and cozy coffee shop. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. It’s the perfect spot to sit, slow down, and enjoy a delicious coffee and treat.

Their specialty latte was amazing—so delicious and beautifully presented. The in-house baked treats were fresh and full of flavour, especially the scones and cookies. They were light, soft, and absolutely delicious.

We also ordered a kids vanilla steamer and it was perfect—the taste and temperature were spot on.

You can truly tell the owners and staff at Kanoo put care and thoughtfulness into everything they do. Highly recommend! Truly a hidden gem ☕️✨“

“It is the small things that often make a difference in choosing excellent coffee. Having a bag of coffee that I can re-seal and remove the air from via a one way valve is genius and is an extra cost for the manufacturer. It also shows me that they know what they are doing and care about their product. Well done Lost Aviator!“

“The 'new' Planet Bean on Wyndham is pretty darn good! Coffee is excellent - a truly authentic Cortado and even the decaff is excellent. Food wise I've tried the breakfast sandwich twice as it was so good - tons better than anywhere else I've tried in Guelph. It even beats Evergreen senior centre (yes you read right) who do a yummy breakfast sarnie as well. Service wise it's good and friendly and the coffee comes quickly but you do have to wait for freshly cooked food - not a bad thing eh! Oh and the venue is a great improvement on the previous over-spaciousness. Still have the mini library shelf though.

“I have had a lot of coffee from all over, the Guildsmen Cafe is one of the best. Very few places make a truly hand-crafted coffee. We have moved away and their coffee is one of the things we miss most. Highly recommend!!“

“With the Grain is my Saturday morning ritual. The coffee and baked goods are amazing. I stock up for the week with an oatmeal sandwich loaf (awesome for our Saturday lunch grilled cheese sandwiches), baguettes (they make for fantastic French toasts), croissant bread (which my daughter devours in her school lunches) and often something sweet as a treat - the brownies, bee sting squares and cinnamon rolls are always a hit! The staff is super friendly and I appreciate the loyalty cards for coffee and bread. The bakery itself is small but so quaint being in an old historical house. If you haven’t tried With the Grain, you’re missing out on a Guelph experience.“

Amazing experience at D Spot in Guelph!

I stopped by D Spot in Guelph and had such a great experience, thanks to Jas! She was so kind, friendly, and welcoming — her attitude really made my visit stand out. You can tell she truly cares about making customers happy.

And the ice cream? Absolutely delicious! It was creamy, rich, and full of flavour — hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. Everything looked amazing, and the taste did not disappoint.

Even though it was my first time there, I’ll definitely be coming back. Big shoutout to Jas and the D Spot team for making it such a great experience! 🍨✨“

“I was here Sunday the 14th mid day and it was super busy with a massive drive thru line all the way to the mall and the team handled it AMAZINGLY! I don’t think I’ve seen people move so quickly but still have a smile on their face. The team here always has impeccable customer service even when they get slammed with a mid day rush. “David is like my best friend at this establishment. I agree with those who say he needs a raise(if it’s the same David). Outside of him, every worker at this Starbucks does their best. I can’t fault anybody for Starbucks greed as they are just cogs in the machine.

Overall, The Starbucks has great tasting grilled cheese (even if it’s a little stale at times), double doubles, and chai lattes. If you can get past the overpay for Starbucks, there is no better location than the one in McLaughlin Library.“

“The food and drinks here are excellent. The service is okay but I find that it can be inconsistent. Sometimes, it takes 10 minutes for food but my drink was made quicker. One time I ordered a cold pastry and it took about 10 minutes to get to me, while the employees were standing around and talking amongst themselves. Overall, I enjoy coming to this Starbucks.“
