“What can I say, INCREDIBLE! We went for our anniversary meal and it was such a delight from start to finish. We have a no phone policy when we dine out but I wish we'd taken some photo's to remember. The tasting menu was excellent. The wine paired beautiful with all of the dishes.“

“We discovered The Hearty Hooligan after our daughter was diagnosed with an dairy allergy. We now eat here once a week! The food is always consistent regardless of the day of the week or how busy they are. Our favourites are the pickle fries and pizza rolls, we’ve also enjoyed the Mac and Cheese Bake, Moe’s fries, Mac and Cheese burrito, Crunch wraps.. all delicious! We usually add on a dessert to our order which is almost always a punkaroo cookie! The cupcakes and cookies are always good too. The atmosphere is fun and inviting and the staff is always friendly and welcomes you like they’ve known you for years.“

“Love it here. It’s so cozy. Lots of their little treats and baked goods are gluten free and I believe they are all vegan. Their brunch menu is good too! Very generous portions. They always play the perfect cozy calm music, you can reserve a table which I would recommend doing on the weekends. I’m the warmer months they have some patio tables out on the sidewalk to watch all the Locke street dogs walking by. The banana bread is 20/10. I also love their matcha oat latte with strawberry syrup.“

“When I found out about Indonesian’s Flavour I was a bit hesitant but I tried their food and was surprised and happy that I did not have to travel far such as to Mississauga or Toronto to eat satay , nasi goreng or rendang , etc . It is all in the Hammer /Farmer’s market . Hamilton is lucky to have Indonesian cuisine , which can come to you mild or really spicy . …You just have to ask . Now if we can only ask them to get a bigger restaurant with lots of chairs and tables for a truly good and yummy dining experience !“

I stopped in for the first time without knowing much about the place. I'm usually a Starbucks or Tim Hortons regular and stick to my goto which is a double-double (2 cream, 2 sugar). I explained my usual order and preferences, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful like they were making the coffee for themselves. Honestly, it was the best cup of coffee I've had. Better than Tim Hortons. Better than Starbucks. This place is a must try. Amazing coffee, delicious pastries, super reasonable prices, customer service is out of the world and top tier quality. Highly recommended!“

We really appreciated that and will definitely return. I like that they have half size soups so you can also get sides for a better price. They even work with a local farm. A gem in Hamilton, well worth it!“

“I was in Hamilton for a concert with my family, and I'd always heard that Hamilton was the best place to find an authentic Maritime donair. A quick Google search led me to this spot, and Lord tunderin, I wasn't disappointed! The donair speaks for itself, so you should go in and get one. It had the exact right amount of donair meat, so much of that authentic donair sauce, the ingredients were fresh, and the service was friendly. It was inexpensive and honestly, it took me right back to having donairs when I lived home in Newfoundland. 100% recommend this place; you should check it out!“

“We tried the Beef Shoyu Ramen, and wow—it was absolutely excellent! The broth was light yet flavorful, reminding me of the amazing ramen I had in Singapore. The balance of flavors was perfect, and the homemade spicy sauce was the cherry on the top.

If you’re looking for a place that serves authentic, high-quality ramen, Shiro Ramen is the spot. Probably the best ramen I had in Canada .The gyoza was also surprisingly good !

“Took my 4 year old here for a P.A. day from school and he loved it. he has been asking to go back ever since. we played some great games, got some DND dice at a sweet price and a few miniatures to paint together at home. The staff was amazing special compliments to Jose and Mitch - very friendly when tho it's super busy and you come up with special requests.
Food was delicious (also I would have liked the option of salt and pepper at the table and not just on request. The wine glasses were magically full the whole dinner (4course menu) time.

But we ordered the heart shaped pizza for Valentine’s Day and it was really good, wished they had more pepperoni cups on them like advertised. We also got the mini donuts and they were okay, for $6 i probably wouldn’t order them again. I loved the garlic dip they had, good consistency with the pizza! I would say this pizza was average but might try one of the specialty pizzas listed on the menu already. They are also super hero themed so would be fun to take the kids in“

“Usually everything is good here however I had a smoothie yesterday, was really craving a nice yummy fruit smoothie so the lady recommended the dragon fruit one with pineapple, peaches and oat milk! It wasn’t even edible :( I had to flush it ..it tasted like I was chewing oatmeal:(“
