“Was in illisfil this weekend with my family so we stopped by to grab something to eat. the food was awesome and really yummm! Customer service was topnotch. We had Ribs, chicken franks, fries, onion rings, spring onions, chicken thigh. Will definitely come back!! ??

“1-Follow up on reservations for my party by the restaurant hours ahead-and seating location was as requested.Notified we had two for service that day -Catt /Makayla .2-Informed both-we were catching up our once a month chit/chat and they informed us of the menus - etc —choices were made on our part with both of them checking on our various selections and keeping things flowing all the time.-questions of changing salad dressings with our selections-just one of the changes after that a few more but never gave the suggestion to us that it was any problem.-Several times we were asked how are things going-was there any thing we did not have or do we wish to change anything that was just not what we thought we were Ordering from the menus. We said no and they said enjoy your time .We did and again we left knowing that is a place in Barrie you might wanted to add to seek and find list of where to eat in Barrie,Ontario soon.“

“After a few visits to our local neighborhood eatery. And everything was great was there tonight for another 2 orders of chicken tenders and fries, unfortunately they came out not like anything I’ve seen before, not even Wendy’s quality. Small over cooked and fries were cold and from the bottom of the basket. Wife didn’t want to complain but I’m sorry I had to 15$ for overcooked Burt chick tenders and fries wasn’t flying. So I brought mine back. Wife choked her chicken down left all the fries. The owner was there and fixed the issues promptly, kudos to him and a huge thank you. As a local and this place is raving about its food and service. Please don’t serve crap any longer try to exceed people’s expectations and you will survive. Thanks again for fixing the mistake much appreciated.“

“Harvey's (any location) is my go-to because of my CAA discount. I enjoyed my bacon cheeseburger. I asked for extra pickles and I was accommodated. For my fountain drink, I was able to select half iced tea and half lemonade (Arnold Palmer). Great service. Thanks, Joseph.“

“I visited this restaurant for the first time And I was so impressed with their service. It was very welcoming and the crews were awesome. Very polite and smiling. Fresh food was delivered on time. Service was excellent. The restaurant was clean and today; a great atmosphere. I complimented the shift manager Christy for her excellent leadership. It has been a long time since I had great experience in a fast food restaurant. I wish Christy and her amazing team for more success in years to come.“

“December 2, 2025. Famished after some Christmas shopping so dropped into the Barrie ESM for an early dinner. As usual delicious food (Linguine and the Spaghetti Primavera ), friendly and prompt service from our server Ranya and a lovely bright atmosphere. Never have had a bad meal at any ESM location.“

“We’ve been a couple times this summer. Split the 2 Piece Fish & Chips. Today I had the Chilli Cheese Dog with fries. Almost to much, but I got through it. Seating Inside, Outside Covered and Uncovered. Friendly staff and fair prices. We’ll be back.“

“My wife and I have been going here for 20 years. We went yesterday for lunch with our teenage son. The food was very good and hot. Gravy was tasty. Service was very good. Manager/Owner even came by to make sure we were happy. Not really heard of anymore. I'd rather eat here and get better food and service than McDonalds. Price isn't much different.“

“Can’t say enough about Swiss chalet/ Harvey’s as a whole my last experience started poorly and the staff made up for it with meal cards, and this most recent experience has been easy+ good food I will be eating at both restaurants more often. Elbows up“
