“Plant No. 01 is our go-to. Every weekend, we look forward to the specials they have. The staff are always so friendly and sweet. On one occasion, they had a very busy day and a pipe burst in the kitchen. We stopped by that same day, and (we did not know the chaos the staff had endured that day), and still, they were so accommodating. We ordered a handful of things, two of those things being some of their delicious peanut butter cookies. When we got home, there were no cookies in the bag! We assumed this was probably because of how crazy it was, and we were all chatting, so these things happen. We messaged them when we realized, and they had a quick response saying no worries, next time we come in, there will be cookies for us! Fast forward a month, and we finally got the chance to stop by. They had fresh cookies waiting for us. Thank you, Plant No. 01, looking forward to many more visits. Always amazing food and quality service!“

“A 10/10 must stop foodie restaurant. We enjoyed 1) the gobbler: a vegan spin on a thanksgiving sandwich with gravy for dipping and 2) the halloumi hot honey sandwich: a vegan hot grilled halloumi cheese with pesto and tofu bacon jam with greens. Both of our dishes were excellent for taste, texture, and presentation. Thank you Heather for hosting us and answering all our menu questions. So many choices and styles of dishes here at Rise Above. Truly a must stop shop! We will be returning tomorrow for a homemade vegan pumpkin cheesecake.“

“I took my mom to Revalee for brunch over the weekend, to celebrate Mothers Day. The service was great. The food and beverages were soooo good. My mom had the smoked salmon rosti and I have the level 5 vegan, fresh squeezed juice and an oat milk latte. We loved it! Can’t wait to come back.“

“If you’re anywhere near Kaiserhaus in Port Dalhousie, it’s honestly a spot you don’t want to miss. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere stands out right away it has that warm, welcoming European feel with a cozy interior that makes you want to sit back and actually enjoy your meal instead of rushing through it. It feels authentic, not forced, which already sets it apart from a lot of places.

I ordered the Schnitzel Plate, and it completely delivered. The schnitzel itself was perfectly cooked crispy on the outside with a golden, crunchy coating, and tender and juicy on the inside. You can tell it’s made fresh and not just thrown together. The portion size was really big too

The service was another highlight. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was good.

“Incredible donuts AND coffee. As long as you takeaway.

They always have something new, and you could honestly tell me they WEREN'T vegan and I'd believe you.

The only 'problem' is there's very little room to sit and have a donut and coffee.

Not much they can do about that unfortunately.“

“We had an excellent experience at Wind tonight- there was an unfortunate event of a medical emergency, in which the staff reacted with the upmost compassion and professionalism. The guest quietly insisted on covering the drinks for the people around them (which was so so so kind & unnecessary- but thank you ❤️ just glad you are okay), and Wind covered an additional round if we were interested, which was totally above and beyond for a circumstance outside of anyone’s control. “Hands down the BEST pizza joint with vegan options that we have ever been to. Ever. All six if our group declared it was the best meal of their entire life. We ordered the vegan options of garlic bread, Cheese sticks, dill pizza, Meatball pizza, big papa pizza, clubhouse pizza, and island heat pizza. Our family usually clears off two party size trays at other locations, but these pizzas are quite substantial and loaded with toppings, including vegan cheese, so we couldn’t even finish half of it!!“
