“We went back to Southeast Sandwiches and tried the Holy Shrimp and the KFC sandwich again. This place never disappoints. The Holy Shrimp sandwich was full of crisp shrimp with a soft fresh bun that held everything together without falling apart. The KFC sandwich delivered the same great crunch and flavour I have come to expect. What makes SES stand out is how you can build your sandwich the way you like it. There are plenty of toppings and several signature sauces available so you can dress it up to your own taste. Portions are generous and the food always feels freshly prepared. “We were down in the area, as we moved further north. This place makes the best Veal, sandwiches, etc. delicious. 😋The different types of coffees ☕️ etc. Are delicious, as well. Such a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. It may cost a bit more but worth it. You pay for what you get, good quality. Worth the wait. If you want good freshly made foods, this is the place to go. Went in the early morning, at 10:30 am, when they just opened up. So glad we stopped here. Definitely worth the drive to come back. “To be honest I’ve never been in the store. One of my brothers lives close by and anytime he comes to visit on a Sunday I have to get him to stop into this location for 2 spicy chicken subs.
The quality and care that the young lady puts into making them is impressive and far superior to any other location.
She even wraps tomatoes and puts the bbq in a container so the 2nd sub I have the next day is a fresh as the first !

But the lady working there was so kind—she talked to me, gave me such good energy, and literally made my day. “I just pulled up to this spot for a late-night pickup, and what I saw blew my mind. There were like 6 people ahead of me, and I’m thinking, “Aight, this gonna take a minute.” But nah — this dude behind the counter (tattoos on his left arm, you’ll know who I’m talkin’ about) went full beast mode. I’m talkin’ sub-speed legend status.
It was around 10PM, so he’d clearly been grinding all day, but the energy? Still on point. He was slicing, stacking, wrapping — all while keeping it cool as hell. No stress, no slowdown, just pure efficiency. He handled the whole line in what felt like seconds. I’ve never seen a sandwich artist move like that. Other places move like they’re in slow motion compared to him.
Respect to this guy — not only is he fast, he’s chill, professional, and clearly takes pride in the hustle. This is exactly the kind of energy that makes a spot worth coming back to. I don’t even care what’s on the menu anymore — if he’s making it, I’m ordering it.
