“The drive-through was packed! Not only did it go perfect from the time I ordered to the time it was ready at the window. My chicken dinner was perfect and nothing was forgotten. I forgot to ask for butter and ketchup… I open the bag and I had butter and ketchup! Very friendly, helpful stuff“

“The festive chicken with baked potato and chicken and ribs was brought out to us piping hot and delicious. Management came out to ask how the food was and engaging with the customers. Tables were cleaned off promptly and clean dining area. The place was busy with eat in, take out and drive thru. Very impressed and will return.“

Marrow is top shelf dining experience. My friends and I went all in with the food paring ($90) and drink paring ($45) options. Pricey but well worth it. 3 small but flavorful starters, a wonderful pear salad, a chorizo and gnocchi dish head of the main event… a 7oz flat iron steak cooked to perfection over a bed of lightly smoked and tender pinto beans finishing with a single scoop of chestnut ice cream. But that was just the food. The drinks were carefully paired with each course. 5 in total. Each one balanced bitterness, sweetness, and acid with each course. My mouth was alive as if it had been raised from the dead. It was so amazing that I forgot to mentally note each drink so I could describe them in the future.

This place is a diamond in the rough. I only wish I had met the chef and the team behind the incredible experience.

I am from Los Angeles and have plenty of great places to dine. My visit to Detroit to watch my friends compete in an indoor track bike race was punctuated be this celebratory dinner.

If you love incredible food with thoughtfully pared drinks, I cannot recommend Marrow enough.“

“I have gone to the Whitney every year for Christmas dinner. It was annual holidays to celebrate with my nieces. Last Christmas holiday we chose to take the buffet. I was extremely disappointed. All I wanted was prime rib. The server was not very friendly. She stared at me and I was very uncomfortable when I asked for the prime rib only. There was just a small end piece and she gave me a very thin slice close resembling lunch meat. I don’t understand since I paid for a complete meal and it wasn’t cheap. I could’ve gone somewhere else and had a wonderful prime rib dinner. The au jous was not warm, so that was very disappointing. I will never do the buffet again if it’s like last year. In previous years, I’ve attended the buffet and it was outstanding.“

“My girlfriend and meself stopped in randomly after the Eastern Market and had one of the best meals and experience we’ve had while visiting Detroit. The Tokyo muscles were the best muscles I’ve ever had. We had a classic Bloody Mary and their hot sauce really brought some heat! We got the Carmel cookie coffee as well and that was swell as well. The environment and staff especially made the experience even better. We had Rhonda as a server and she was very pleasant and helped give us recommendations that turned out to be very tasty. Overall we were glad we chose to eat at Vivio’s and will definitely be back next time we wander to Detroit.“

“This was my first time at Zeffs.i was headed downtown to Jury duty and needed breakfast. It was 6:30 am. The employees were so pleasant early in the morning which was a plus. The other patrons were a morning delight. The food was delicious and tasty. The wait wasn't long at all 😁. The outside of the restaurant was clean. The inside was clean and inviting. We decided to try Zell's Corner based on the location and reviews, and I am so glad we did. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent, and the corner bar atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. When we are in the vicinity again we will definitely be back for the food, cold beer and to say hello to our new friends.“

“Visited for a wedding reception. The food arrived in courses and looked very inviting and well done. The tempeture and taste did not measure up to the appearance which was outstanding. It was good but not excellent but it was a good sized party all eating at the same time. The service was above and beyond. Highly recommend these people - they have a handle on how to treat guests. The building was awesome. I had Grok give me the history and cant say enough about how they preserved it and the interior decorations. Good job to whomever keeps up with it.“
