“I love Starbucks, but why do we need to tip lol? I don’t get tipped at my job serving people I’m not sure why you need a tip either, not making enough money as is, go get a second job like the rest of us. Also the baristas here are ignorant and rude when you try to ask them a question. Being entitled gets you so far. And far from a tip for sure.“

“Lovely folks! We used the drive thru this morning with three very different breakfast orders. The server on the intercom was polite and very positive without sounding fake. Clearly the team works well because we received food and drinks in less than 5 minutes. We ordered in the drive thru which makes this all the more remarkable. Everything was well packaged and we received extra napkins with a smile. Loved this experience. Over the top.“

“Starbucks is a reliable coffee spot that you can pretty much count on no matter where you go. The drinks are consistent and easy to customize, whether you like something simple like a latte or one of the seasonal specials. It’s convenient for grabbing coffee quickly, and the menu has enough variety that most people can find something they like.

The atmosphere is one of the best parts. Most locations are clean, modern, and comfortable enough to sit down and study, work, or meet up with friends. It can get busy at times, but it still feels like a decent place to hang out for a while.

Food options are basic but useful if you just need a snack or something small on the go. Nothing really stands out, but it does the job.

The main downside is the price, since it’s more expensive than a lot of other coffee places or making coffee at home. Some locations also get pretty crowded during peak hours, which can make it harder to find seating.

Overall, Starbucks is a solid, dependable coffee shop that works well for convenience, consistency, and a comfortable place to spend time, even if it’s not the cheapest option.“

“My daughter and her friend ordered drinks through the app to this location accidentally, and when they showed up at the location they thought it was, they had no record of the order. The team there was rude about it and made them pay again to get their drinks, had no solutions to offer except paying twice. When I called this location to cancel the making of their drinks, they said that if we drove over they'd happily refund the money AND apologized for our bad experience. They followed up with the unhelpful location and really made our day. They called it an honest mistake and wanted to make sure the girls had a pleasant experience. Above and beyond - very pleased.“

“I went in for a birthday drink and asked the recommendation of the barista for a hot drink. She recommended this and I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve had a tastier drink!! This coming from the girl who has tried to dupe a smoked butterscotch latte with caramel and vanilla shots. Anyways. I want to say a huge thank you to the barista both at the cash who suggested it as well as the other one who was so nice and wished me a happy birthday.“

“I can’t say enough amazing things about the Starbucks at Dundas & Clarke Road in London, Ontario. I go here multiple times a week and the team always makes me feel so welcome, but what they did for me on April 20 truly meant the world.

I had been in an accident and couldn’t pick up my mobile order, so I called the store. The barista I spoke with on the phone was incredibly kind and told me not to worry and to focus on my safety.

Later, when my husband brought me in, not only had they made our order, but the lovely barista who I wish I knew her name.. she also gave me a full refund in her words, just to brighten my day. Crystal, who I always see there every morning I come, she even came to the window to check on me and told me I was “like family” to them.

I was overwhelmed with gratitude, I literally broke down in tears. This team goes above and beyond in a way that is rare to find. They don’t just make great coffee, they genuinely care about people. I wish ALL Starbucks had this kind of crew behind it all.

Thank you to Crystal and the entire team working that morning. You made a very difficult day so much better ❤️“

“My brother and I stopped by while we were in Loblaws. The single worker was chipper and got us our orders quickly. Our drinks were hot and well-made, although I think their prices are a bit too high. The sitting area was clean, however, it wasn't the coziest. Being in a grocery store and all.

Parking: This Starbucks is part of Loblaws, so the Loblaws parking lot would be your ideal option.“

“I go to this location because it is right across from my work. They are always friendly and my drinks are always delicious. I do recommend to order on the app about 10mins before because they can take a bit sometimes during busy times. Other then that I definitely recommend.“

“I love the brownie and oat milk matcha here. Matcha is nice and strong, not watered down like some places.I come in almost every day before work. The staff are friendly and even remember my usual order, so it’s easy to chat with them. It does get crowded sometimes especially weekend, I usually order before coming so I don't have to wait . The app is easy to navigate and convenient.“

“Stopped by last Saturday morning for a quick coffee before heading into the city and honestly the vibe here is just right for a slow weekend start. The barista remembered my order after I mentioned I wanted it extra hot, which is a small thing but made the whole visit feel more personal. Found a cozy corner spot by the window with a nice view of the street outside, perfect for catching up on some reading while the city woke up around me. If you need a reliable spot to recharge before exploring Richmond, this location is a solid go-to.“

“I visit this Starbucks location frequently and spend a significant amount of time and money here, which is why I feel it’s important to share this experience.

During a recent drive-thru visit, I forgot to order a pup cup at the speaker. Before paying, I politely asked if it could still be added, and the staff member said yes. However, after scanning my card, I was told, “Next time make sure to order at the speaker.”

While this may seem minor, the comment came across as dismissive and made me feel uncomfortable. Forgetting something in the moment can happen to anyone, and for some individuals, including those with memory-related challenges or disabilities, it’s not always avoidable. I was not being rude or trying to bypass the process, I simply forgot and asked politely before completing the transaction.

Customer service should be accommodating and understanding, especially in situations like this where a small request could be handled with kindness. The interaction left me feeling hesitant to ask for anything further, even something as simple as a straw, because I felt like I had already inconvenienced the staff.

I’m sharing this because I believe in the importance of inclusive and respectful service. A small shift in tone or approach can make a big difference, especially for customers who may already feel vulnerable when speaking up“
