“The baklava is nice and super flaky which is sort of rare nowadays. Ingredients seemed high quality and fresh. If the bottom piece of the baklava was a touch less sweet, it would be perfect. The trilece was delicious, had balanced sweetness and the glazed top layer was amazing. It had an interesting and slightly different taste that you dont encounter often (in a good way). Guy that runs it is super nice and personable. Dont expect super low prices though, these pastries are quality. Would return 100%.”

“i usually come here all the time and get the smoothie bowls which are a thick consistency. but most recently, i came here with my sister and ordered 2 açai bowls for $40 total which is insane. when we got the bowls, the base was frozen rock solid and we could not eat it as it was to hard. we asked if there was anything they could do about it as we could eat it and they said no. all the bases are pre frozen. which is crazy because how are we supposed to eat a rock hard frozen bowl which we paid 40 dollars for. horrible”

“I have been going to Lazeez for almost 12 years. Recently a lot of the locations have been serving poor quality food.
We went to this location last night after Canada's Wonderland, firstly the 2 young workers were super nice and accommodating. We were a large group (3 families) it was close to closing time. They still agreed to accommodate us for dine in. Order was prompt and served perfectly with no issues. The food was fresh and great quality. I must say this is a very good location! Very conveniently located and the staff is fantastic as well. Good job guys!”

“Ordered 3 trays for a luncheon .. just beautiful…and very fresh cookies! Stefania was wonderful, and she prepared the trays beautifully. Got so many compliments..people devoured them! Got a good variety…amaretti, lemon twists, peach balls, crinkle and cannoli cookies, cranberry biscotti and many more ..all delish! ..worth the price! Thank you Stefania !”

“Needs more staff when it's a busy time 😕 waited 5 min. for a chocolate croissant...was put in a small paper bag, asked for a box..she put in a small box..did not fit..so it got crushed ☹️ waited another 5 min. Left with NO croissants.

“Was here some time ago and really enjoyed, food was tasty and portions are very big and tasty. It is good interior inside with Afghani national paintings. It was my first experience eating Afghani national food and I can say for sure that it worth that and I will come back when I’ll be there other day”

It is however the pies that rightly command the main billing - delicious, hand made and a great range of flavours. We wished we had room to buy several for our onward journey.”
