“We went to the bar yesterday and loved how clean it was—no weird smells at all! The staff were super friendly. When we first walked in, the music was pretty loud, but they quickly turned it down for us, which was nice. They have karaoke too, and the sound system is awesome. The chicken wings were really tasty! I’ll definitely be back next time. Overall, it was a great experience!“

“We started going to this restaurant since covid-19. Honestly there were a lot of choices in Markham, and Ikon was not the only sushi restaurant we ordered our food. But things have changed because we can hardly find better restaurant in Markham. There are restaurants that focus on lots of menu choices, some name their food with unheard titles, and some raise their prices to make you feel theirs are imaginative "premium". But Ikon comes in simple packages. They give you the max quality of food in simple menu and shockingly reasonable price. The chefs and the owner (tall woman) always dress in clean and simple outfits, and then greet you with a warming tone as if you were a good friend. As a bonus, take-out orders come with a Japanese soft clothes to carry your food. The whole package is simple and beautiful. Thr portion is bigger than many places. Sadly not many restaurants are like this. Disclaimer: I don't own any restaurant. I do not know any of the staff members and the owners. Japanese food is our family's preferred cuisine.“

“The food at Milestones is always great, and their happy hour deals are fantastic. Our server was absolutely lovely and made the experience even better. Unfortunately, the patio needs serious attention — there were dirty and broken tables, garbage under the tables, napkins blowing in the wind, damaged umbrellas, and even coasters being used to prop up wobbly tables. It took away from what could have been a great patio experience this evening.“

Definitely made for a better ending to what had been a rotten day. Really appreciate how polite and cheerful the whole team was. “My friends and I have now been going to Gabby's for quite a few times, maybe about 6 by now, usually on Sundays. The last couple of times have been on a Friday and Monday. We are mostly handicapped, using walkers or a wheelchair. I usually make the reservation, and specify a table near the lovely large windows. It has never been a problem on Sundays, but there seems to be one waitress who objects to our sitting near the window as we will "block" the servers. It is difficult enough being handicapped never mind having a surly woman telling us we are a problem. So, maybe this woman doesn't work on Sundays. We love this restaurant and the food and atmosphere is so great, usually. Most disappointing.“

Because it’s in Unionville, the place has a cozy, welcoming vibe that made the whole experience so much better. Definitely worth a visit!“

“I popped in last Thursday night after an intense hockey game. The bartender Eva, took great care of us. The service was lightning fast, beers were freezing cold and the wings are out of this world and on top of it all they were half price. The big kahuna hockey club will be back again real soon.“

Having just come back from a trip to Japan, I thought I might want to wait a little longer before eating sushi, and going to an omakase at that. Little did I know that this experience would prove me wrong so quickly. Chef Lam was so meticulous when preparing each piece and we were having a great time chatting, drinking and watching him put so much care and attention into the presentation. The fish was so fresh and buttery, personally, I loved the white fish nigiri and torched salmon the most. The sake sangria may be a little strong for some but very good nonetheless.

Street parking is limited so another option is to use the building parking around the corner - make sure to use the visitor parking.“

“Cool little place. Has it's "regulars". When we went for dinner, the cook had just left, early, for the night. The bartender tried to make our dinner but was having issues but, one of those "regilars" that happened to be there enjoying a game of pool with feiends and also a cook at another place stepped up to help and made us a wonderful dinner.Friendly place. VERY affordable prices..“
