“Dropped my box outside (which i got for my kids after waiting so long in line) coz it was too windy and I just picked up and cleaned the site while I was about to go back in line to get another one I saw one of the staff member came outside and gave me a box just free to replace the one that I dropped... really made my day! Not all heroes wear capes... really appreciate the nice gesture...“

“Back in the early 2000s the kids from my middle school would all rush over to South Common Mall at lunch time and get a Jamaican patty on a bun and drink combo for $2. I don't know if the middle school kids are allowed to go the mall at lunch anymore but I hope they are. The patty on a bun is a filling, savory sandwich. The combination of pastry, meat, spices, bread, mayo and lettuce is soo delicious and satisfying. They always use nice soft bread buns that are crunchy on the outside. I haven't eaten here in about 18 years, so maybe this review is outdated. Whatever the cost of a patty on a bun combo is today, I'm sure it's still more than worth it. Anyway, love you A1 donuts! I'll be visiting as soon as I can.“

“A blast from the past, in the best way. Old school diner, owned by a hard working family and big, cheap donuts! I was shocked when we learned the price. Go early to ensure the best choices. It's a no frills kind of place but really great quality.“

There are so many flavours and topping combinations to choose from, but my go-to is the strawberry ice cream with a dark chocolate dip and sprinkles.
