“I LOVE the Burger Bar! We moved to Newmarket about 3 years ago after an extended stint in Old Montreal. One of the first things I noticed was the boring selection of chain restaurants in the area. I’m always on the lookout for something unique and was elated when I walked into GBB for the first time.

I know it’s a burger place, but finding something in Canada that can cook a burger to my liking (instead of well to over well) is a good start. I’ve had almost everything on the menu and every dish is well executed and as tasty as it can be. Trust me, get the sweet potato wedges and thank me later!

“First time in Newmarket and The George was an awesome place for beer and munchies. Liam made me feel more than welcome, so good to find dark beer on tap that isn't Guinness and the Sunday prime rib special was terrific.

“I had amazing Vegetarian Pho and Spring Rolls from Com Pho Asia, located at Mulock and Yonge in the Nature's Emporium Plaza. So flavourful. This is a family owned restaurant. The food is amazing each time we have either eaten in or taken out. Phavy, the owner, is very friendly. I highly recommend a visit. When they were open for indoor dining this place was packed every time we went. When I asked how things were going with takeout earlier today, Phavy stated it was a little slow. I would love this place to make it through these challenging times. Their food is a must have“

“I always have a great time here. The food has never disappointed me. The funghi pizza is to die for. The calamari is fantastic. The amazing sunset is our favorite drink. Staff is friendly and will get you what you need. Overall have always had good experiences and have even come here as a couple, in a group, for a special occasion and/or even just a random casual fun night out and it's been a great time. “They have great food there but don’t go there hungry. You will be waiting forever for your food. We had many instances where we waited way too long for our food that we just decided not to go back. We stayed away for awhile and thought to give it another try tonight. Not only did we wait forever for our food, others got seated & served before us. I waived the manager down and she gives the excuse of the waffle maker being broken then the waitress says it was because they got our slips mixed up. They gave me antra salad to make up for it and my kid got sprinkles on his waffles. No discount on the bill. I loved going to this place but we will not be visiting Symposium again“
