11 Best Coffee Shops in Niagara On The Lake

“Aroma is one of those unique cafes which tries to embody the full European cafe experience. And, while this can be difficult in a non-European location, they do a pretty good job!!
On the day that my guests and I visited this location, a bus of tourists from Spain made sure they stopped and enjoyed a cup of their favourite beverage.
The food offerings are fresh and tasty. And, the staff are friendly, despite the language barriers they were working through with the visiting Spaniards.
It is for this reason that we usually make the effort to stop from our shopping experience and enjoy the atmosphere of this location. Keep up the great work!!“

“Never gets too busy from what I can tell. Unlike the 'fake' Starbucks on the main drag in NOTL, this one is a real Starbucks (accepts Star rewards, etc.) The staff are energetic and welcoming, sometimes I get the feeling they are happy to see anyone as it gets pretty slow at times.“

“This is a short walk down Queen Street in NOTL and a lovely, more rustic bakery. As soon as you walk near the door ... you're lured-in by those warm, bread-smells ... that will not be denied! I ordered the fresh croissant and also sausage rolls, and showed an immense amount of self-control after that (insert regret here re: the butter tarts). I also did some Christmas shopping - behind the register is a series of books written by local author Tom Taylor (all signed) about the many historical stories of Brock. The woman that served me was friendly and helpful. The baking: devine. And lots of other nicnak things you'd find in an old-school bakery. No seating here though.“

“They consistently make great drinks and get the orders right. I had made a mistake on my mobile order on Friday evening and meant to get an iced drink but had accidentally ordered it hot. I asked if it could be iced and they were more than accommodating and I overheard one employee answer another who questioned if it was ordered iced and they had said that “it doesn’t matter how it was ordered, if they want it iced we will give them iced.” I apologized at least 3 times as I felt bad and like a pain, but the same employee who I overheard gave me the drink and was very friendly and was so nice when I apologized again. Would definitely recommend this location. Great drinks and awesome service! Always clean and they have a quick moving drive thru.“

“Grabbed a real fruit classic (Mango Diamond Slush) post-shopping! Atmosphere is very open-concept! I like the whole mini-secluded drink for 2 on the left side of the store! Service was awesome as well! We asked for 0% sugar and the girl was concerned if it would be a bit too sour so she made us try a bit before making it which was super nice of her! Also made the drink more enjoyable bwhaha- overall clean space, great drink & awesome service!“

“This Starbucks store at Niagara-on-the-Lake has a different layout than the other Starbucks stores across the major cities & towns.

The store wasn’t busy during the evening and the environment inside was nice and cozy. Our coffees were served extra hot as requested. The lady at the counter was friendly.
