“Eating a delicious 'leftover' (carefully reserved) pork bun for breakfast, and I'm motivated to get my laptop and leave a review.
We've been going for years, albeit not so often as we'd like. It's an hour drive from downtown TO, but we make the dedicated trip one or twice a year and we're never disappointed. We love the hot oil soups, the popcorn chicken and their various veggies dishes seasoned with pork.“

“Ordered grilled fish with mild spice, but it wasn’t spicy at all. The fish was very good—tender and with few bones.
The dish was served at room temperature, so it needed to be heated before eating for the best experience. After the meal, I felt very thirsty, possibly due to the seasoning being a bit salty.“

“Went to stay at Liushou Hotpot last week and the overall experience was great, especially our waiter Yunni, her service was really impeccable! She greeted us warmly from the moment we walked in, patiently introduced us to the menu, and recommended several super delicious dishes. During the whole process, she always paid attention to our needs, promptly added pot bases, changed plates, and even carefully reminded us of the best cooking time for the ingredients. The service attitude is super good, always smiling, making people feel particularly warm and considerate.
This kind of service greatly enhances our entire dining experience! I highly recommend everyone to give it a try, and I hope to meet Yunni next time. She is really a highlight of the hotpot!“

“We went here on Wednesday for lunch special event! Premium set all you can eat for two people! And the food quality is the best in GTA not gonna lie! Becuz it’s lunch time, no much customers so they served the food so fast! Definitely recommend to try!
I’m giving this five stars because we are here for lunch special event and it is so good for today’s service and food quality!“

“The food here is great and it’s a fun place to go for an experience. The only reason I would not give 5 stars is because the staff makes it difficult to enjoy a meal & conversation with friends because they are constantly interrupting to refill your drink, remove empty plates , or standing right beside your table essentially waiting for you to need something.
It’s definitely top notch service and I love how friendly everyone is but it can be a bit excessive sometimes and not a very relaxing experience since you’re so overstimulated by the loud atmosphere and constant interruptions to your conversations. I felt somewhat babysat during the experience today and could not enjoy my time when being interrupted every 5-10 minutes for 2 hours when no one specifically needed/wanted anything.
I truly do appreciate all the effort that the staff puts into giving good service, but still would have preferred a bit more space throughout the night.“

“?Get a free lobster by showing this reel/ follow this page (Spend more than $98)
We found a nice spot in Chinatown that serves Chaoshan beef hotpot! Each cut of beef is brimming with flavor, and one whole plate of beef costs only $4.45!
I love how fresh their seafood is and the variety of meats. My favorite is the ox tongue; it is so tender and flavorful✨
Their beef soup base is relatively blander than the usual mala soup you’ll find in Chinese hotpot restaurants, but with their homemade sauce, you’ll get the best flavors from the meat.
?354 Spadina Ave
It’s the first time to eat Chaoshan hot pot here.
Although the soup base is a bit light, the ingredients are so fresh.
The homemade sauce is delicious
Beef is $4.45 a plate, a completely conscientious price
If you don’t want to eat spicy hot pot, this is a good choice
Follow my page/show and the reel staff will give you a swimming lobster?

“Here is something if you wanna try a different cuisine experience and it being Halal.
This is a perfect place for winters and you wanna spend time with friends and family. You can keep serving yourself hot food and soup.
I have also tried another hotpot place but this is a better one. They also have a small separate counter for creating your own dipping sauces which is cool. We tried different combinations of sauces.
Must go for a aunthentic hotpot experience.
They take only cash or debit as payment options.“

“It's an interesting experience with the conveyor belt system, where you can get most of the staples like veggies, fish balls, some seafood, mushrooms, etc. Unfortunately, nothing is labelled, so unless you know what you're looking at or are brave enough to try something new, some of the dishes circling around will remain mysteries. The meat was brought directly to your table by staff, and they were attentive enough for us to ask for more several times, and for them to refill our broth. I did like how each person had an individual soup, though it did mean each person had to pay $5-$8 dollars more. Overall, it was something new and fun to try once, but if you took away the conveyor belt, it'd be at best considered average for the price.
Vegetarian options: Has some veggie options, not as much as some other hotpot restaurants.
Parking: Don't bother trying to find parking above ground when it's busy, go into the underground, you'll find a spot much faster.“

“My husband and I always wanted to try hotpot. First time here and the food was simply amazing. We had the porkp Bone broth. So rich in flavor. The restaurant has a complimentary snack bar and sauce section. The meat selection was so vast. The meat too was very fresh. All the staff were very friendly, especially our server Cindy. Can't wait to go again. Our new favorite spot.“

“Classic Cantonese Hotpot Experience
This spot offers an authentic Cantonese hotpot experience, with more than 100 menu items to choose from. Many of these dishes would cost a fortune elsewhere. Highlights include clay pot rice, tender beef shank, a variety of organ meats, handmade shrimp toast, freshly made fish and meatballs, deep-fried chicken wings, and succulent lamb. Don’t miss the fried milk custard and the refreshing coconut milk mango dessert. And all you can drink plum juice and lemon tea!
The soup base is a bit mild, but you can enhance it with the wide selection of condiments available. The real draw here is the incredible variety of food and the nostalgic Cantonese atmosphere, which is increasingly rare in Toronto.
It’s hard to believe they maintain such affordable prices, but this hidden gem has been around for almost 20 years. Truly a treasure worth visiting!“

“Best Sichuan-hotpot in the GTA imo (honestly, just as good as places in Chengdu/Chongqing), great soup, decent selection of both meat and sauces, and well known for their Sichuan side dishes. In addition to the standard menu, you get to pick 2 items/pax from the paid menu as well.
Service is wonderful as they help you mix your own dipping sauces, cover your winter jackets, etc. The decor is pretty awesome inside too and looks just like how a lot of hotpot restaurants in Chengdu and Chongqing are decorated. Can be a little pricier than other ayce hotpot places though (vip card is nice), but still my family's go-to.“

“Wow - an amazing Thai restaurant just north off Promenade Mall. My friend had a food restrictions that they were very kind to accommodate and provided us with recommendations as well.
Our server Ploy - was fantastic, she provided recommendations and let us know which dishes could be made within our food restrictions. The drinks were delicious and very pretty too! We ordered the Yao Warat & Khlong Thom!
For our meal we ordered:
Pad See Ew (veggie) - the noodles were soft and PACKED with flavour!
Tom Kha (veggie) soup with a lovely creamy coconut flavouring! Mixed Veggie (stir fry) - great bite, not over-cooked!
Pineapple Fried Rice (ohhh I even enjoyed the slight sweetness of the pineapple in the savour rice)
Karee Soft Shell crab (THIS IS SO So SOOO GOOD - a MUST TRY).
The place is clean and spacious - good for dine alone or a group!
Each EAT BKK location - is a bit different to the others, this one is WORTH the trip over to Centre & Bathurst.
Lots of free parking available!“

“This place was a delight with a variety of set choices. Today I chose the Japanese Miso hot pot (not spicy). It was delicious. Also, the portion was pretty large. I could have easily shared it with one other person. I enjoyed dipping the meat in one of the condiments that was provided at the table. Sorry I don't know the name of it. But it was a thick red sauce and not spicy at all. I scooped some into a small bowl and dipped away. I'm interested in trying the other variety of hot pots on the menu. Maybe go for the lobster one next time.“

“Arrived slightly before 12PM with my girlfriend and managed to get our names first on the waitlist. Promptly after, it started getting packed with tons of people signing up for the waitlist. Was very surprised to see how busy it was on a Wednesday afternoon at opening.
We both went for the $26.99 AYCE lunch special. Soup bases are included in the price and you can choose up to 2 different bases. Items to choose from were a bit limited from a protein perspective, but we were more than happy to inhale beef brisket slices and seafood. Veggies and sides were great too. Ice cream cone at the end was great and the perfect way to end the meal. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the Hokkaido pudding.
Service was exceptional. Staff members were very attentive, consistently topping up our soup pots, pouring water for us, and getting our food orders. Seating time is limited to 1 hour and 45 minutes. Ample time in my opinion.
Overall, we really enjoyed our time at Daimaru. I highly recommend it, especially for their lunch special. We both ate for just under $60 including a tip!“

“Great hidden AYCE hotpot place.
Tons of options at reasonable prices. Crab and lobster aren't fresh, but you're boiling them anyways.
Like how they include a free drink with your meal
Tomato and pork bone soup bases were our default choices and worked out great with the meats available“

“The taste is pretty good, the portions are huge, and the prices are very reasonable.
It's a pity that I didn't get the roast chicken, but I got the pepper and sesame chicken, which has a very special taste.
I highly recommend the sauerkraut pot. The more you cook it, the better it tastes. The meatballs inside are super fragrant.

“Soup bases are so flavourful with lots of ingredients. Good selection of food to put in your pot. Skewers make it much easier to eat instead of fishing around for the food you cooked. Also service was great, all the staff was prompt to tend to your needs and very were friendly. Even though they were swamped, no one looked irritated running around helping the customers“

“Haven't had hot pot out of home for a very long time.
Love how it's not all you can eat. So. Tried it.
Fresh ingredients. Good service. Definetly a good meal and I think the bill comes out lower than all you can eat.
Likely looking to return again soon.
Recommended for both large and small group.“

“A bowl of rice noodles and a plate of grilled skewers, two highlights:
1) Satisfied with meat noodles. A spoonful of noodles with a piece of meat left in the end is better than eating dry noodles with the meat gone first.
2) The spiciness is appropriate, not some weird spiciness that makes you feel uncomfortable after eating, but the kind that feels more natural after eating.
Worthy of praise“

“I love this place, the food is so good and spicy the staff is wonderful and it’s open late! However t they don’t have any meat slices or huge Ingredient selections. Also the ingredients don’t have any English names on it so it’s difficult to figure out what’s in what if you have any dietary restrictions. The place is also super clean but pretty tiny.“

“I will be very fair about my experience. We went there at 8:30pm. There were only 3 table of customers which included us. We ate til 10:30pm. Here is why.
The first order came fairly quick, but the 2nd order took a lot longer. We learnt our lesson so we immediately made 3rd order but still took a long time. That’s why we ate for 2 hours. I actually got hungrier waiting for the 2nd.
I would recommend you make large order on your first, but then again you are running the risk of your food getting cold but trust me, your 2nd order will come a lot later. You will have to push the waitress for it or your 2nd order will take forever to come.
3 table 1 waitress and the kitchen is having a hard time to keep up. If you decided to go and see 3+ table of customers, then you better make large order on your first.
Now serving speed aside, their food is great. But some food item on the menu is out of stock which is a bit disappointing.
I wanted to give 3 star but all you can eat skewer is pretty rare and besides I did ate over 60 skewers myself and wasn’t kicked out.
Here are some of the things, expect certain orders end up not coming.
They have a rule, they’d start charging over 100g worth of food not eaten. So before you make your order, ask the waitress if all orders came. That way you can keep track of your orders. (Some order end up not coming then you can reorder it or skip it)
It’s been 2 hours since I left and no stomach ache so the foods are fine.
It is $29.99 all you can eat starting 8:30pm which is reasonable. I would rate it 3.7 which is fairly close to the average rating.
I would definitely revisit the place some time in the future, since the serving speed, lost order and lack of supply can all be fixed by making huge order on the first one.
But remember don’t waste food even though it is all you can eat, that’s just courtesy and respect for foods.“

“Derek was the highlight of our girls’ night out! He was funny, attentive, and gave the best suggestions. Aside from the amazing service, the food was also amazing with lots of variety even for the classic beef selection. It was a fun experience and highly recommend for those who want a break from the traditional dinner. We also were celebrating our friend’s birthday and they even provided a really nice birthday surprise as well. We were all stuffed by the end of the day. 10/10 would recommend.“

“December 27, 2024 - Had dinner with some friends (5 in total).
We ordered the clay pots buy two get one free (cash only deal), fried dumplings and beef brisket. The food was very good. My friends weren’t a fan of the chicken clay pot as it had bones in it. The bones gives it so much flavour. I liked it. I also liked the 4 kinds of Preserved meat, definitely my favourite. I didn’t get to try the beef clay pot. The brisket was so soft and tender.
Servers were nice and the service was good.
Definitely a 3.5/4 star restaurant“

“I live 10 minutes away and not knowing they serve dim sum until today. I came to know of it through get together with some ex-colleagues on a Friday lunch. It’s not a well known dim sum restaurant that I usually go to, but I was surprised by the quality, price and atmosphere. Since it’s not well known yet, there was no wait time and the atmosphere and decor was comfortable and traditional Chinese.
The dim sums were tasty and fresh, 蝦餃, 燒賣 and 蝦腸 were filled with juicy large shrimps. It’s compatible with some top notch restaurants in my opinion. Yet the price was very competitive, same cash deal of $5.28 on all regular dim sums on weekdays 9:30am - 2:30pm and $6:18 on weekends during same lunch time. Definitely will go back to try out the rest of the menu. I’m not much a hot pot fan so no opinion on this area that they specialize on.“

“It was my first time trying Malatang by my friends recommendation! We came here and we enjoyed it sooo much!! The food was spicy and delicious and I loved that we were able to choose our toppings and what goes in and we got to choose our spice levels. You pay by the weight of how much you got and surprisingly, it didn't come out as much as I expected it to considering I got like everything out of curiosity lol. I'll definitely come by again if I'm in the area
its a great restaurant to go to when it's a cold, winter day and you need a nice hot, spicy bowl of noodles“

“This is the Nth time! Although this restaurant may not be as good as other hot pot restaurants in some aspects, its unique taste and characteristics are irreplaceable. Every time I pick up a chopstick of mutton that has been cooked in a pot of water, and lightly dip it in the store's special sesame sauce, the moment I eat it, the familiar taste always reminds me of Beijing - the kind that is unique to my hometown. The fireworks and warmth make people can't help but come back here again and again to feel the irreplaceable taste of happiness.“
