“SushiOne was a decent choice for dinner.

Food 🍣: 7/10⭐
I ordered the deluxe set. I enjoyed the dynamite and spicy salmon rolls which came with it. What I didn't like in the deluxe set was the cream cheese rolls, which came as a surprise to me as I ate it.

Service ♥️: 8/10⭐
Nothing bad about the service.

Service speed 🐢: 5/10
The food came after about 25-30 minutes

Price 💰💰💰: 4/10
Some of the items were quite expensive. If I recall correctly, there was a boat for $72 which contained about 36 rolls. $2 per roll is probably not a deal I will take.

Atmosphere 🪰: 4/10
The restaurant was clean, but the main problem was the flies. They were flying everywhere and landing wherever they please.

“The staff are always really friendly, which makes eating in feel relaxed and welcoming. The sashimi is usually pretty decent and fresh, though a couple of the salmon pieces were a bit stringy on this visit.

The chirashi don was the standout for me – for around $24, the portion and quality were totally worth it. I also order from this place a lot on Uber Eats and the food is consistently good when it arrives. Overall, a solid neighborhood sushi spot that I’m happy to keep going back to.“

“The restaurant, service and food at this restaurant was good. However the only downside is that the customers are literally asked to pay a tip. During this difficult period of the pandemic, it is hard to leave a tip. It should be optional but if you do not tip, you are sort of asked "why no tip". This becomes odd and the customer should be given the discretion to tip. This is the reason, I am giving 4 stars to this restaurant.“

“The quality of the food is fantastic. I had salmon teriyaki for the main and deep-fried soft shell crab for the starter. The main came with rice and miso soup. Everything is good. Didn't wait that long for lunchtime. I'd come again to try some more dishes.“

“Wakame Sushi Weston was the kind of place that made dining feel like a full experience — bright, bustling, and perfect for groups who want to linger over plates of sushi and sip on something refreshing. The vibe was casual and welcoming, but with just enough flair to make a weeknight dinner feel like an occasion.

Their new Milk Tea Bar added a fun twist to the meal. The Original Milk Tea with Pearls was creamy and smooth, with perfectly chewy tapioca — a refreshing surprise in a spot best known for sushi. It felt like the kind of add-on that made you want to extend dinner just a little longer, chatting and sipping.

Of course, the food itself carried the show. The AYCE menu was stacked with options: endless rolls, fresh sashimi, and all the Japanese staples you’d expect. But the promos made it even better — the snow crab was meaty and tender, a real standout, while the Fanny Bay oysters were plump, briny, and served fresh.

This was more than just an AYCE dinner; it was a lively evening out where food kept arriving, drinks kept flowing, and the new milk tea counter gave it all a playful, modern spin. For sushi lovers looking to add a little variety to the routine, Wakame Weston delivered big time.

The beer was served in ice-cold mugs and pitchers, which was perfect, and the recommended sake pairing was spot-on. “Never been to the place, this review is for Skip delivered order. Sushi tray looked, smelled and tasted great. Fish was fresh, rice too. Tempura just right, didn't even get soggy while on its way to us. Looking forward to eat in one day.

“So good!!!!!! Ordered for takeout. It was fresh, fast, fantastic. The sashimi pieces were HUGE which I am not accustomed to, other sushi joint sashimi pieces are dinky little slices. These were basically little fish steaks! Also ordered a few rolls and appys. Honestly such good value, 100% would recommend.“

“I had a great experience at Michi sushi — the service was warm and friendly, and the food was excellent. The sushi was fresh and flavourful, and the 911 roll was the clear standout with its perfect balance of heat and texture. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for delicious sushi and welcoming service.“

“I've been to Matsuda numerous times over the past 5 years ago and other than during pandemic when they had tables set up in their broken down parking lot with plastic bags tied to each table, serving food in take out containers and only serving cans of pop the experience has been great. On my last visit about 3 weeks ago they were open again as per normal with their lovely decor and great food. The only issue was towards the end my friend ordered a few more items and we waited forever for them to come - we thought they had lost the order so he put in another order of the exact same items. Again it was not delivered to our table so we shrugged and ordered dessert and was half way through when finally his food order came which was about 30 minutes after he ordered (generally food comes in 5 minutes or 10 minutes tops) so he had to eat it and then the second order came which he also had to eat. I can understand if they were busy and behind in their orders but you would think our server would have advised us - I took away one point due to that reason otherwise a great meal and evening!“

“First time visit and you can tell by the queue that never seems to end how popular it is. The choices are straightforward, you order , pay and wait for your monster sandwich to arrive. I had a chicken deluxe without the tomato and it was enough for 2 people. The breaded chicken escalopes were nicely cooked and fresh - I really enjoyed mine and would recommend it.“

“Sushi Bong is a cozy spot for take-out sushi. Most of the time the sushi is fresh, with good quality fish and nicely prepared rolls. The presentation is neat, and the menu has a decent variety. Service is quick and convenient, and the front desk staff are always smiling, which makes the experience even more welcoming.

Sometimes consistency can vary a little depending on the day, but overall it’s a reliable choice if you’re looking for fresh sushi at a reasonable price.
