“The staff are extremely attentive to patrons' preferences and desires. The sushi from Miso soup, to tempura and sushi are of excellent quality and quite fresh.“

“Two of us enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Wasabi & Teriyaki during the week. The food was fresh, and absolutely delish. Truly authentic. Service was wonderful. First time we dined here and will be back. What I loved about this place is they do not over charge for Green tea and Miso soup (only $1.99 for a bowl). Definitely recommend it for authentic sushi 🍣 and teriyaki.

“Walking into JO Sushi for the first time tonight was like walking into a cozy anime scene. The whole staff warmly greeted us with genuine smiles and it was soooo wholesome. The sushi was incredibly fresh and tasty! The prices are very reasonable. Can’t wait to come back again!“

“This place makes good fresh sushi. Family, friendly business. You can order for pick up or dine in. Just north of the Oakville GO station (walking distance). They make some unique specialty rolls, Oakville and Orangeville rolls are quite good.

“Amazing atmosphere with great food“

“Wanted a quick lunch so I tried the menu. Had dumplings, sushi and a yakisoba dish. I found the dumplings very average with taste and texture. Sushi was good, they used the cucumber chunk rather than sliced. I found the rice not the best quality. The chicken and noodle dish was okay, the sauce just wasn't for me. Overall a good lunch but I'll look elsewhere plenty of options around. Also the restaurant was a bit dull and cold, heater wasn't working so the wood chairs felt extra woody!“

“this is the only restaurant I've eaten at that I could eat the exact same meal every day and never get sick of it. I recommend their signature ramen, I order the number 103 and usually have it 4 days a week. after having the same meal 200 times it tastes as good as ever.“

“Truly a hidden gem... Don't let the building exterior fool you. Niwa is incredible. Fresh and delicious selections, amazing staff. I asked if a certain meal came with spring rolls unfortunately it did not. Went for pick up and they put a small order of spring rolls on the house... incredibly generous of a place in a time where everyone is cutting cost. Definitely will come back.“

“We came here on a weekday at lunchtime, but ordered Dinner Menu sinceI’m a sashimi-lover. Dinner menu is $34.99 during the week and $36.99 Friday-Sunday. The staff were friendly and the service was quite fast.

You’ll be provided with pencil and paper as many rounds as you want, but make sure you don’t have leftovers as you’ll get charged.

We ordered Shrimp Tempura, Seaweed Salad, Beef Teriyaki, Salmon Teriyaki, Enoki Mushroom Beef Roll, Salmon Sashimi, White Tuna Sashimi, Red Dynamite Roll, Fire Kamakachi Roll, Dragon Roll and Red Dragon Roll. Everything was fresh and tasty.

“This was an Ubereats lunch order, and I have to say I was impressed. Their beef bulgogi bento was flavourful and the quality fairly good. I really enjoyed the orange slices and gyoza. The California rolls and avocado & sweet potato rolls were also fresh and flavourful. I also very much appreciated being served maguro sashimi that was actually maguro. This will now be a go-to for us when craving beef bulgogi bentos, sushi, and sashimi.“
