These two amazing women went beyond and over to help me.

“Every time I visit, the Baristas are happy and cheerful, my orders have always been correct and well executed. They keep things moving at a good pace when it's busy, and have no problem chatting with you when it's slower. Definitely a decent place to grab your PSL!“

“Dark roast coffee at Starbucks is excellent. Good luck finding better coffee anywhere else. And in case you didn't know, because apparently a lot of people don't, refills are FREE. That's right. So instead of crying about "oh it's so much money wah wah", I drink three coffees when I go and listen to music that's actually decent. That's $1 each. Plus, I get rewards points on their app., then I get something free.“

“I have been to this Starbucks in perticular many times and the baristas never fail me! They are all so kind and sweet. I know working as a barista can be stressful but they always seem to have a smile on their faces! I have never had an issue with my order they are super fast at making your drinks most of the time I’m only waiting about 3 or 4 minutes. Overall the atmosphere is really nice and happy!“

“Smaller Starbucks with ample of parking. Unfortunately I have to give a 3 stars to the food. When I ordered my favorite double smoke bacon sandwich, it was still cold. This error should not have occurred. Other than that, rest of the drinks were acceptable. There were some storage items left around the cafe which directly blocked two comfy looking couches. Hopefully it was just a temporary storage space issue and not a regular reoccurrence when they restock.“

“This Starbucks location has seen a few pretty significant changes over the years and continues to keep up with the current trends.The seating feels a bit different now - less cozy and perhaps a bit more casual / functional.The staff here are great, which makes visiting this location a pleasant experience.“

“I ordered the summer skies drink. Overall the drink was good. The berry flavour was a little light and could've used more flavour and the perks seemed under prepared compared to when I ordered from another location. The strawberry cold foam was delicious though.“

“It's starbucks, what's not to like? It's actually one of the better starbucks I've been to, it's always clean, there are plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your coffee or work for a bit. The staff is always fast and friendly. I like the set up, too. The counter is far away enough from the doors/table that even in a rush, it doesn't feel crowded, loud or congested.“

There was a small mix-up with the milk – they served oat milk instead of regular – but it didn’t affect the taste, and I actually enjoyed trying it. “Excellent hotel. I love staying at the Lord Elgin when I go to Ottawa. The staff is friendly, the location is right downtown and the hotel has this old English vibe. I love it! I highly recommend the Lord Elgin hotel for anyone who is staying in Ottawa.“

“My mom spilt hot coffee on herself and I rushed in to grab some ice, the first girl with the braids just ignored me and said I have to wait, despite me explaining the situation, however Emma quickly gave me some ice and later came outside to give us a wet cloth, and a new cup of coffee. “I haven't been to Starbucks in a while, she never this location. Service was good and prompt for my noontime visit.

One gripe, as I said, I haven't been to Starbucks in a while, if any cafe. So I got my drink and left for a walk. I got to the other end of the parking lot before the cup was just too hot to handle. I returned to get a cozy to keep my hands from burning.

Seems like something that all their hot beverages should get...

“By far, it's one of the best Starbucks I have ever been to. I have lived in the area for over 20 years and always seem to forget this is here. A hidden location sort of? Staff were extremely friendly, the atmosphere was phenomenal, and the service was excellent. The interior design and set up is nice. No wonder it was full. Thank you for such a great experience!“

“This location is my go-to Sunday comfort zone and my weekly treat since I am always in the area to volunteer at the nearby animal shelter. Smaller location, as it is not an extension to a bookstore or inside a shopping mall, as most of them are. The morning staff is always pleasant, welcoming and friendly, whether you're ordering at the counter or even just picking up a mobile order, which by the way, are always ready on time so you never have to wait. The restaurant is clean with a cozy atmosphere, the music fits the ambiance and isn't too loud, and the outdoor patio seating is perfect during the warmer months. Love this place!“

“I tend to get the Pink drink here at Algonquin College, so far i've had some pretty good experiences but some can be interesting.
the staff are always just so kind to have a quick chat with while ordering and sometimes add little hearts or drawings next to your name

i've had some of my drinks have mistakes and the staff are so understanding and gave me the mistaken drink with no charge while making me my already paid drink.

the environment is very sensory friendly but sometimes it can get a tad bit loud since its in the main entrance building which cannot be fixed obviously.

Over all im extremely satisfied with the experience i've had on my first year of college and im looking forward to coming back again next year!

Kid-friendliness: dance shows are attended at the college so i tend to see lots of kids from the competitions getting drinks and food.

“The staff at this location makes it one of the best Starbucks in the city. I've been coming here for a long time as I have lived/worked in the south end for many years. I've always found the staff extra friendly here and the present staff are definitely the best group they've had working here in a long time. One of my favourite baristas is Jason who is always welcoming, friendly, and takes the time to say hi, ask about your day, and just super down to earth and personable--and he always has a smile! If he's not already a manager, I'd be very surprised. From my restaurant industry experience, I know customer service can be challenging at times especially during busy/stressful times, and you end up with impatient or unhappy costumers. SO Kudos to Jason for his amazing service, no matter how busy this place gets.
I also really like Rana and Kristianna (hope I spelled their names correctly!!), as they are very kind and friendly, and chat with everyone. I love the atmosphere here too as they are a lot of regulars and it sometimes feels like a small community hub. All in all, one of the best Starbucks in Ottawa and absolutely amazing staff!!!“

Parking: There are plenty of parking spaces, and they are free. We parked the car and left. I don’t own a car, but I came there with friends, and we left the vehicle for several hours without any issues.“

“Starbucks has some good beverages and the people working at this location were nice enough. I personally think it's a little over priced. This location is in Bayshore so it's not the kind of place where you can relax with a coffee and have a chat.“

“I would like to respectfully request that the company consider further steps toward sustainability, particularly regarding your cup lids and tea bags.

1. Paper Cup Lids:In Europe, Starbucks has implemented paper cup lids, which is a wonderful and eco-friendly alternative to plastic lids. I would love to see this practice extended to Starbucks Canada locations as well. This would greatly reduce plastic waste and align with the growing consumer demand for more sustainable options.

2. Plastic Tea Bags: I am also concerned about the use of tea bags made from plastic, which contribute to microplastic pollution. These particles are harmful to both the environment and human health. I kindly ask if Starbucks could consider switching to paper tea bags, similar to the ones used by Red Rose, which are both biodegradable and safer for the environment.

“Starbucks is generally great, and they almost always get my drink right, which I appreciate. The service is usually efficient and friendly. However, there have been a few occasions where the food isn’t warmed all the way through, and I’ve bitten into the center to find it still cold.
