“I didn't catch his name but there was a wonderful man (long dark hair, fantabulous earrings) who plugged my phone in for me when it died and was stranded waiting for a bus. Great sense of humor and a joy to talk to, I wish I knew his name.
Otherwise, I used to work in the area and despite short breaks they always got my drink ready in great time, nice and cleanly, great environment as it's attached to Indigo.“

“I really want to thank the amazing team working so early this morning — Saturday January 3 2026! They made my day with a perfect order!

My coffee was exactly as requested: the right size, truly extra hot, with just a light touch of cinnamon (not overpowering). The croissant and pain au chocolat were fresh, warmed, and delicious, the egg white bites were perfect, and the potatoes with cheese were also very tasty.

I wasn’t feeling well and didn’t have the energy to cook, so this order arriving exactly right meant a lot. Despite the early hours, snow and holiday season, this team still delivered excellent service and great care.
You can see the effort and attention to detail in both the taste and presentation.

“’m not usually a raving Starbucks fan, but this particular location has completely changed my perspective. It’s incredibly convenient and has become my go-to spot for meeting friends or clients, or even just relaxing with a book. I now find myself visiting once or twice every one to two weeks, which is a big change for me since I used to go only a few times a year.

The space itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and very welcoming. There’s plenty of seating, including comfortable lounge-style leather chairs as well as standard wooden ones, making it easy to choose a spot depending on your mood or purpose. “The staff at this location makes it one of the best Starbucks in the city. I've been coming here for a long time as I have lived/worked in the south end for many years. I've always found the staff extra friendly here and the present staff are definitely the best group they've had working here in a long time. One of my favourite baristas is Jason who is always welcoming, friendly, and takes the time to say hi, ask about your day, and just super down to earth and personable--and he always has a smile! If he's not already a manager, I'd be very surprised. From my restaurant industry experience, I know customer service can be challenging at times especially during busy/stressful times, and you end up with impatient or unhappy costumers. SO Kudos to Jason for his amazing service, no matter how busy this place gets.
I also really like Rana and Kristianna (hope I spelled their names correctly!!), as they are very kind and friendly, and chat with everyone. I love the atmosphere here too as they are a lot of regulars and it sometimes feels like a small community hub. All in all, one of the best Starbucks in Ottawa and absolutely amazing staff!!!“

“A nice stop for a special treat! I ordered the Grande Caramel Brulee Latte (half whip) and it was absolutely delicious. My granddaughter had the Grande Pumpkin Chai Latte and said it was the best thing she’s ever tasted! The café is clean and spacious, with plenty of seating and good lighting. The washrooms were spotless, and I noticed many students studying comfortably. Free Wi-Fi is a great bonus. A lovely spot to relax and enjoy a sweet moment. The servers were very nice and helpful..“

“I have been going to this location for years. A recent remodelling has changed the layout, making it appear more open and bright. I always order my drinks through the app and they’re always waiting on the counter for me when I get there. No lineups. I don’t know why everybody doesn’t do this.“

I used to like this location but over the last year or more they can’t seem to make a proper cup of coffee. It’s certainly hot enough but it lacks the true coffee flavour that Starbucks in known for.
Just yesterday I gave it another shot and the girl was so freaked out like she treats every customer like they are the grim reaper!
Their trash bins are always over flowing which makes her a hypocrite!!
Plus my coffee sucked!!!
She didn’t even fill it to the rim!!
I’m never going back here!!!“

“I tend to get the Pink drink here at Algonquin College, so far i've had some pretty good experiences but some can be interesting.
the staff are always just so kind to have a quick chat with while ordering and sometimes add little hearts or drawings next to your name

i've had some of my drinks have mistakes and the staff are so understanding and gave me the mistaken drink with no charge while making me my already paid drink.

the environment is very sensory friendly but sometimes it can get a tad bit loud since its in the main entrance building which cannot be fixed obviously.

Over all im extremely satisfied with the experience i've had on my first year of college and im looking forward to coming back again next year!

Kid-friendliness: dance shows are attended at the college so i tend to see lots of kids from the competitions getting drinks and food.

Wheelchair accessibility: its a very open space for anyone who needs accessibility“

“Love this place, never have an issue with any of my drinks! The food is really good and so are the people! Great atmosphere to study or to have a coffee date with friends. Only issue, which is not their problem, is the parking lot. It’s a tight squeeze for a truck or bigger sized SUV but the drive-through makes up for that. Overall a great location!“
