Tim Hortons in Ottawa

“There's never been a problem with the quality of the servers and the wait isn't too long, but am I the only one wondering why Timmy's doesn't cut our bagels in half anymore?

Besides that, lately the food has been well above par here. My bagel has not only had enough cream cheese but its also been spread evenly across the entire surface!!! Morning bagels have been absolute FIRE!!!
-Don't you just love it when you go to take a bite of your bagel and there's nothing but a butter thin layer of cream cheese and not enough to spread around!?- Not here!!!“

“It seems to be the best value for money in expensive Ottawa. I heard from a local that they conquered Canada at a low price during the coronavirus pandemic. And I was surprised that it opened very early in the morning. There were so many people that I had to wait in line, but I never thought it would be like this. I also enjoyed a simple breakfast of latte and maple donuts, feeling like a local. I usually don't eat sweets, but since I'm in Canada, I was craving something with maple syrup, and since I was on a business trip, my sugar level kept dropping, so I raised my blood sugar in the morning.“

“I have come to this Timmy's for years but this time I was really surprised with the improvements. I had bad experiences in the past ordering at the drivethrough.
I order inside this time and the cashier was really polite, fast and attentive, the breakfasts were made perfectly and the place was clean. Will be back.“

“Had the pepperoni pizza wasn't too empressed. It was decent. Had a lrg ice cap as well machine was just cleaned wasn't completely frozen but was warned and still chose it. Would have been better with a plastic straw really can't stand paper straws after a while it tasted like soggy cardboard“

“The Owner is fantastic and can clear the queue in a matter of two minutes meanwhile other inexperienced service staff are painfully slow, sometimes I do wish a few extra customers queue up for the simple fact the owner will make his rounds and presto magic like I was just explaining has inputted everyone's order faster then the other service staff has had opportunity to input one order.... “This is by far the best Tim Hortons I've ever been to. Of course there will be minor mistakes here and there however, the staff in there operate like an army. They are always working and despite the line ups and mobile orders coming in, everything is done with precision, accuracy, all while being speedy. This is the best Tim Hortons I've ever been to. I've made a edit on the map location. The Google Maps has been showing this location inside the building of 240 sparks street. I've repositioned the pin point om the map. When looking up 200 sparks street, it shows correctly. The address for the Tim hortons is also correct but not when looking up the pin point of the Tim hortons on the maps.“

“At this Tim Hortons, the staff is by far the greatest! I just visit this place because the people are so awesome here! If only all Tim's were run in the same manner; they are consistently kind, cheerful, and all-around nice people. Any day of the year, I would hire any one of them. I've visited this location a lot when I've been in a bad mood, and every time I do, I smile when I leave!“

“The staff was very friendly and cheerful. It was a pleasure stopping at the Tim Hortons. It does close early being in the downtown area.

Parking: It is located in an office building so parking could be an issue.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it is wheelchair accessible.“

“Very fast service despite many people. I ate at Tim Horton's last time two or three years ago. I like Pizza with a Habanero dip! The atmosphere is fine, I just don't like being in the basement. But it is very convenient to trains in Toronto.“

“Food is excellent quality but could be served more quickly as the wait before ordering is typically long during meal times so the additional wait could be done without. Otherwise the service staff seem to be working their hardest but management should hire extra workers. All in all this an excellent destination if you're traveling on foot, cycling, or public transit, as the only parking available is paid street parking which in Ottawa is not cheap, however this should not affect your decision to patronize this location as obviously the management has no control over cost of parking. (Previous comments on parking I made were in error as I confused this location for another.)

Parking: Paid street parking managed by City of Ottawa is available adjacent to this location and all up and down the street. Short periods are slightly costly and spots are scarce during peak periods.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of tables with room for mobility devices. Automatic doors and ramps where necessary.“

“I frequent timmies around the city due to my job, this one has great workers and good service but while every Tim hortons in the area charges 0.30 cents for a on side chipotle dip, this location charged me a whole dollar for it. ? bit too expensive for a small side sauce.“

“This Timmies is in the Ottawa Heart Institute and it's a busy place with many other options. There's a cafe too. The staff is fabulous, fast and helpful. There is lots of seating and it's pretty accessible too.Not much is gluten free but the cafe has a good breakfast menu.Only "needs improvement" the seating and overall section could be cleaned better.“

“I frequent this location most mornings before work.ALL the morning staff are fantastic, friendly and efficient.Especially one girl (I haven’t caught her name tag yet) She always remembers my order, and when I occasionally switch it up, she double checks that it was entered correctly without error.Owners of this location should be very proud of the morning crew!They pay great attention to detail, and serve customers with care and excellence.“

“Tim Horton use to be very good and the food and the donut were fresh. The package were good before idk why but these day the package are horrible put the donut in a bag instead of a donut box. It all get messy and look ugly. No hate tho I just wish it can get better and I still love my ice cap ????“

“Good service. Lost out on the roll up the rim because I didn't have my phone out fast enough. Go back to the Roll up the rim on the cups again. We ate inside. Not impressed table where we sat wasn't too clean.

“I live not too far from this location and I always swing by for a coffee every evening and there this one girl who wears specs and she’s always been so sweet and always helpful. She had a warm, welcoming demeanor that made the whole experience feel personal and enjoyable. Despite the busy rush, she remained calm and efficient, quickly preparing my coffee with a smile“

“A + for this location. Staff is SO friendly. The whole experience is happy. They never rush you through ordering. Big smiles at the window. Staff is always happy to make a change to your order, you never feel like a number. You can see the employees laughing with each other, the atmosphere is great! “One of the better Tim's locations. Very friendly staff, and I've never had to wait too long for my mobile order (it's usually ready before I even get in the restaurant). I can probably count on one hand how many mistakes they've made with my orders over the past decade.“

“It was late, and they I think didn't brew the coffee and I asked for a large regular, and the attendant was having issues with the cleaning and other operational issues and was talking to the colleague. So the coffee they gave me was only hot black water, and that was only slightly smelling like coffee. I realized the same when I started drinking it after I sat in the car and was getting late, so I left as I didn't have time to go back in“

“The food was always great seeing it is a hospital and they are always so busy.Their employees are always so nice but Neema,who works mornings, is exceptional. she is one of the best employees I have ever seen anywhere. “I'm a regular customer here and I think it's a great Tim Hortons but somedays their chocolate toasted coconuts are very cold and wet like coming from a swimming pool and other days they are warm and dry like coming straight from the oven. I would give them 5 stars if they could keep up the quality consistency. (Note* I would just add that in my opinion those chocolate toasted coconut donuts definitely taste delicious when they are warm and dry coming straight from the oven.) Thank you :)“

“Went to see a family member in the Queensway Carlton hospital and decided to grab some donuts from Timmy's. I haven't been in the Queensway Carlton since the 90's and I think it's amazing to have a tim Hortons in a hospital. I can't really speak about it very much because I didn't buy much ( 6 donuts). They only had about 4-5 donut types available but they had cookies and timbits and whatnot. Service was fast and friendly, there were 2 people working there. It's sort of a 'kiosk/pop-up ' store so you really can't compare it to a full size Timmy's. All in all a pleasant experience.“

“On a weekday morning, these guys are near perfect for a timmies, fast and efficient at taking and processing orders all while having a smile on their face. I go here all the time for my morning brew, and the other coffee shops in the area are either slow or downright too expensive for the product you are getting (Starbucks in train yards, timmies on st.laruent)“

“The Tim hortens self serve is pretty good. If other students could make there drinks faster that would lovely. But the staff is alway communicating. And i am still amazed how many times they have to say \\\"excuse me\\\" because us students dont move out of the way so they can give us more coffee. Its always clean.“

“it's a tim Hortons, so it's mostly pretty basic. staff are incredibly courteous though. as an example when i purchased a doughnut yesterday the kind lady put it in sideways, then handed it to me in such a way the fondant didn't stick to the bag. that small consideration alone makes this place a million times better than half of the tim hortons you can find.

on a side note what happened to the nice piece of parchment paper they'd put over fondant or spread doughnuts? that prevented the sticking problem entirely.“

“Great atmosphere and very friendly staff, their prices aren't outrageous like some places.But most importantly their food is amazing!! Their seafood is always fresh.They also have a great bar and pretty good specials on different drinks.My family and I have always had a great time when we come here. I would definitely recommend.“

“Tim Hortons are great restaurants regardless of where they are or who owns the franchise. Nowadays, the prices are out of control in other similar coffee shops. For instance, a small black coffee remains under $2, whereas in other places, it is $3. Wat to go Tim.“

“The Site Tims takes a bit for sure they seem really under staffed... but everyone behind the counter is Wonderful. Smiles, energetic. Has no problem making the customer feel good. After waiting. “Service is always friendly and fast, food is usually good and I am a frequent customer, however the past few visits I keep finding egg shells in my sandwiches. You are usually at the window for less than 5 seconds, bit if it meany I had to spend 10 seconds at the window to not get egg shells in my sandwich I would gladly do so. The other thing I've noticed occasionally is their hashbrowns come out tasting like bacon. Luckily I just don't like bacon and don't have an allergy or religious reason I can't eat it. But that's not the case for all. I hope it's not cause the bacon is cooked uncovered, or the oven is really dirty. I hope this can improve“

“A small Tim Hortons place that only offers take-out. It is located inside a QuicKey convenience store at a gas station on Bronson Ave. There is no seating, either inside or outside the place. But service is fast, staff is friendly, and coffee is hot and good. Their menu is limited but they have all the classic breakfast menu items.“

“Best Tim hortons around. The reason why people get mad about waiting is cause sometimes the manager has to get get donuts from the other store. So the store is left with one person running it for 30 mins. The owner is really nice! Please try to get understanding. “I get my tea every morning and sometimes lunch in the afternoon from this location. The staff are always very friendly and they always double check your order at the window prior to giving it to you. The manager is also very friendly when I see her inside the store . Definitely a great experience.“
